@narfcake Gym socks are really unfair. It is a very weird smell, very strong, and easily offensive. A lot like the warning scent in natural gas. Onions and turpentine seem fairly accurate.
The odd thing is that I am developing a fondness for the taste, and the smell, after years of occasional exposure.
@Kyeh There are gummy Spongebob Squarepants Krabby Patties that occasionally show up in our kids’ Halloween bags. They have “lettuce” and stuff on them.
They’re naaaaasty.
(You can’t tell from the photo, but they’re a little less than an inch tall.)
The person who gives those out on Halloween is just asking to have their house egged.
@lisagd Yep. That’s an egging offense at worst. It’s not worth rolling.
@lisagd @werehatrack First team TP the place and the second team gives it an egg wash for extra crispyness.
@lisagd Good news, then – it actually doesn’t exist.
Bad news – there’s always boxes of raisins.
@lisagd @narfcake Or those garbanzo bean snack packets - heh.
@lisagd @narfcake Raisins are even worse than Necco wafers.
@lisagd @narfcake When I was a kid, a dentist who lived in the neighborhood gave out toothbrushes on Halloween.
Meh. I’ll wait for the fun sized packs of durian.

@bdb @narfcake Pica is a nasty affliction.
Someone should jump on this and create packs that have little gummy candy “salad” pieces in them!
@Kyeh That is actually what I thought it was when I saw the picture
@Cerridwyn
To go with the candy corn!
@Cerridwyn @Kyeh Umm yummy (not). Candy corn and lettuce sandwich. You’ve invented something new.
Actually after a giphy fail I went looking. No one seems to have invented that yet.

@kostia How goofy! They’re like gummy candy, I’m guessing?
Edit: Oh, yeah - you said that.
