stats malfunction, referral widget highlight

Those of you who enjoy our stats on your daily visits might note some discrepancies today. They might not have shown up or the traffic data may be reset. The dev team is working on it.

While I'm at it, I really love the utility of the new Referral Widget they (our dev team) built. I wish it was slightly more clear but these each link to the specific Meh mention that is driving traffic (e.g. not just the home page of that site). Good bridge to explore other web communities if you see a new one discussing the Meh event. (also fun if you make a Meh mention/link on another community to see it possibly pop up)

The Referral Widget is a per-day (and thus a) per-event tracker so each day is possibly relevant only to that sale event.

Those referral links and the way they change from deal to deal are interesting.

For a brief but entertaining time, the 'percent of you who didn't bite' was showing a -24%. I love this site, it's seldom dull. However, if you post a Meh link in a closed FB group, it doesn't show up here.

- @OldCatLady this is top 10 inbound links of the day only. Facebook itself is often on there - I'm not actually sure if it just shows top Facebook link or defaults to our post.
