Spooky Goat day twenty-two! MORE SPOOKY MOVIES ON TV!
4SPOOKY MOVIES ON TV TODAY!
If you have MeTV, Svengoolie is showing The Bride of Frankenstein at 7 pm central.
If you don’t have MeTV, but do have the Movies! channel, they’re showing The Bad Seed! But if you have that channel, consider starting at 4:20 central for The Fury, a kind of weird Brian DePalma movie starring approximately 1 million people you will recognize, starting with Kirk Douglas and Amy Irving and going all the way down to Gordon Jump!
If you don’t want to watch a movie, but want to watch hours and hours of television and have the Decades channel, consider The Time Tunnel marathon they’re running this weekend, and contemplate James Darren’s super-weird and long career!
Just want to watch a silly movie right now? Here’s Topper Returns, starring Roland Young, Eddie “Rochester” Anderson and the delightful Joan Blondell:

Comet has Hellraiser and Event Horizon tonight. I could never stomach Hellraiser but Event Horizon is great!
The whole thing in ** The Bride of Frankenstein** where a man who makes tiny perfect people seeks out a man who made a giant ugly person always reminds me of the plot of ** The Nightlife of the Gods**, where a man who discovers a way to turn people to stone meets a 900-year-old half-leprechaun/half-gorgon who can bring statues to life and WACKINESS ENSUES.
@mossygreen I missed most of the tiny people part trying to get my antenna set. Great movie!
@mossygreen I hadn’t heard of Nightlife of the Gods but it’s on YouTube. Looks good.
I always forget Bert Convy is in A Bucket of Blood.
@mossygreen I caught part of that movie a few days ago on TV- maybe Comet? I thought he looked familiar.
The Wolf of Snow Hollow is on Prime, Epix & Xfinity Stream right now. It’s a mix of multiple genres (comedy, horror/thriller, mystery) & is VERY entertaining!
Got Prime? I was looking for something to watch while making cookies and Burnt Offerings is on. Karen Black, Oliver Reed, Bette Davis, and Burgess Meridith. I love this movie. The book is pretty good too.
@sammydog01 I’m pretty sure i saw that as a kid, & recall that i always enjoyed Karen Black in all of her kooky roles! And, talk about an all-star cast! Btw, i hope the title wasn’t an omen for your cookies!
@ircon96 @sammydog01 I had that exact thought about the title and the cookies!
@ircon96 @Kyeh That didn’t even occur to me. They didn’t burn.

@ircon96 @sammydog01
Oh, they’re cute! And they look good, yum.
@ircon96 @Kyeh @sammydog01
The cookies turned out so good. That’s one I want to try this Xmas as I’ve never made royal icing.
@ircon96 @Kyeh @Star2236 I’ve never done royal icing, make sure to post the results. I’m a confectioner’s sugar and water girl, with occasional accents of melted chocolate. Plus lots of sprinkles.
@Kyeh @Star2236 @sammydog01 Those ARE adorable! And they look yummy, too… I agree, I’d love to see the results of your Xmas project. That’s the good thing about trying stuff like that, cuz even if they don’t turn out exactly the way you want, you still get to enjoy the practice ones!
@ircon96 @Kyeh @sammydog01
Oh wow, they look like royal icing. You never could tell the difference.
@ircon96 @Kyeh @sammydog01
I will post what I make this year. It all depends on how much time I have with my craft shows.
@Kyeh @sammydog01 @Star2236 That’s right, the crazy season is coming up fast… Good luck with all that!
@ircon96 @sammydog01 @Star2236 So what do you sell at craft shows? (I think I asked you once before but I’ve forgotten, sorry.)
@ircon96 @Kyeh @sammydog01
I do them for elementary school Santa shops and everything you make has to sell for under $7. So I do cupcake in a coffee mug, homemade hot cocoa, hot cocoa stirs, scarves, coasters, cracked marble necklaces, keychains and other knickknacks.
@ircon96 @sammydog01 @Star2236 Do you make all those things yourself?
@ircon96 @Kyeh @sammydog01
Yeah
