Spooky Goat day twenty-three! SPOOKY PAREIDOLIA!
7SPOOKY PAREIDOLIA!
(Or, the human tendency to see meaningful patterns in randomness.)
I am sitting at a dining room table which is somewhat (but not excessively) older than I am, and in proximity to which I have dwelt my entire life. I am working on a puzzle. I look down and see:
Is it an owl? Is it TWO owls? Is it an owl being ridden by a ghost? Is it a ghost seal?How have I never seen this before?

Cool! I actually saw two big nostrils and an eye; a smiling dog sticking its snout through a break in a fence, maybe?
@Kyeh Or maybe a cartoon dragon?
@mossygreen Oh, even better!
@Kyeh @mossygreen Nope. It’s a dog peeking through window blinds. And I love him!
I see a sad Baby Yoda, like this one:
@heartny Aw, Baby Yoda by way of Margaret Keane. And now I have to go to the AI art post…
@heartny @mossygreen You can do it in any topic, but not as a reply.

@mediocrebot Meh.
At first I saw a ghost head but then I read your description and now all I see is an owl with an eye on top of it.
I love this, I wish I was at home so I could show all mine. Unfortunately I’m vacationing in Daytona Beach. So unfortunate.
@Star2236 I hope you’re enduring it with fortitude.
@Kyeh @Star2236 Yes, do try to keep your chin up!
@Star2236 you picked a good time. Perfect weather going on
@llangley
Oh it’s beautiful down here. Especially since I left from Michigan and it was snowing when I left.

So close. Lol
Our old oak dining table features a meerkat peering at me.
@macromeh That is PERFECT
@macromeh Adorable!
