Space Bar SNAFU?? Mega MEH Faces & CLICKS!!
5I’ve known about the “Easter Egg” surprise of clicking the space bar after the page loads to see continuous replays of the EXPLOADING meh faces. What I didn’t realize was that the number of space bar clicks registered as meh “button clicks”! As shown in the pic of the daily meh faces it shows I clicked 32 times before going elsewhere on the page. I guess the number of clicks that you can obtain may be limitless??

Were you just trying to see the “explosion” multiple times?
@Kyeh Yep, just clicking it multiple times and then moved on to read other parts of the page. Went to answer the survey and noticed the number of clicks and said “Whoa”!!
@IndifferentDude Does it change the number of days in a row clicked or just the total number? (I am guessing the later only).
@Kidsandliz just the total number (until you refresh & then they’re gone - poof!!).
I don’t remember it doing that before, though now I can’t [dis]prove history. And I wouldn’t suggest trusting my memory.
(But from what I can tell, that count resets to 1 when you refresh the page.)
@xobzoo Yep, you’re right. It only shows the single click now. Oh well. Fun while it lasted!!

How do you get it to explode more than once?
I’ve only been able to get it to explode once, the first time. The ONLY time I’ve ever seen a number on my clicky faces is during a Meh-rathon.
On another note…
I can’t believe that there are people who have NEVER even tapped on the clicky face!
Is it humanly possible not to be the least bit curious?

I’ve met people at both extremes of the curiosity/observational-acuity scale; folks who poke at every little thing, and folks that don’t notice the big red PRESS HERE TO MAKE YOUR THING HAPPEN buttons. My X2 fell into that latter category to an extent.
@Lynnerizer TBH, having a pokes-at-everything person around (at a safe distance, in some cases) can be very handy.
@Lynnerizer Once the page loads and you see the first explosion TAP THE SPACE BAR! It’ll keep exploding with each tap until you do something else on the page. COOL!!

How does one make the smiley faces explode more than once per day on mobile?
@PooltoyWolf Bluetooth-connected keyboard, perhaps? I doubt that it would actually work, but I have not tested it.

Client Side Code (runs on your browser) vs Server Side Code (runs on browser) - it’s just updating your count locally on your browser, and only sends the count one time to the server. Client side stuff is easy to manipulate.
For example… I didn’t really click the meh button 3.4 million times during the last mehrathon.!
