@tinamarie1974 depends lol. It bounced between 35 and 75 outside and I had windows open and shut. Probably got into the 50s which I sometimes keep it at in winter with some zone heating into the mid 60s.

Don’t feel bad for them they have heated beds upstairs/downstairs cause they are spoiled. And crawl under the covers at night. Just amused me cause I’ve never seen them ever use that one before and they were just like we live here now.

As far as the temp I thought I kept my house cold, but you beat me!!! During the day 70, at night 65 (65 winter, 70 summer) but the portable a/c unit (summer) in my bedroom is set on 62 with the ceiling fan on high.

@tinamarie1974 I’m just cheap. Usually. And no point in heating the whole house. I’m sure the base line temp would have to be raised if there were other people here. Just cause more rooms being used. Never mind if there was a woman. Pretty sure that would be a good deal.

@tinamarie1974 @unksol Too bad you don’t have radiators. I lived somewhere that had them when I had cats. They lived on the wood radiator cover (had to put some blankets up there as the wood got too hot on occasion). I joke I come from a long honorable line of radiator sitters. Sometimes we’d have to put the phone book on the radiator cover as it was otherwise too hot to sit. And then in a house with the heat vents on the floor I’d have cats lie on those and block all heat for that room.

@Kidsandliz @tinamarie1974 I zone heat with an electric radiator under the desk for work and he parks on the desk on top cause… Likes to be in the way. And the fire place in the living room. Which I usually turn on to get it to 65 ish after work at like 6.

Having a really late work night. And not over yet. Been up here 4 or 5 times and constant whining every time. Taking a break, turned on the fireplace… Asshole immediately shut up and is just laying in the middle of the living room.

After spending half the day perched on the back of my desk chair. Apparently he can tell time.

Although I must point out the other party can always put more on. And I can only take so much off … and 65 can be hot in winter up here
