@rileyper It would be a little of a stretch. The short answer is 17W x 12D x 2.25H inches. I have a 17" HP Envy. Just about 16.75" wide -- but only 11" deep. It fits with little to spare width wise and no issues with Depth or Height. The bag itself is right at 12" deep and is sewn so that any extra space in the height can get you up to 13" in depth the middle of the pocket -- but the sides of the pocket are curved and the depth at that point is 12" -- maybe a little less - and not much room to stretch. OTOH, $10? Might be close enough to give it a shot... really good bag.
Well, it's the solo bag buyer reunion... I also bought one the last time they offered it. Great bag. Use it every day and it still looks like new.... so new, I don't really need another. But what the heck.
I was just checking the features, and even though the CheckFast thing is great for frequent travelers, and the headphone features are super handy, I did not see any support for pagination. For that reason alone, I'm out.
I got this last time. I don't carry a 17" laptop, just a normal 15.6" and papers, books, etc. Works great, very sturdy, much better for organizing than the one work issued me. I don't fly so I use the clamshell as a third compartment and usually keep my note pad in it.
novelty-hurried-imp Initially thought it was pretty meh, but reviews are solid. I need a bag for my lunch and other stuff, not a laptop. If this doesn't work I just picked up a cheap gift for somone...
@mehgrl Pretty sturdy. Sturdy, in fact, to the point of being pretty stiff. It's not as flexible as some other bags, you won't be able to stuff it as full as some others. I have been carrying mine every day since I bought it in February and it still looks like new.
Oh... I see a speaker dock... and it's white... which I've been told they are sold out of... MEH... why can't you just have the white ones back?!?!? (I love the look of white on white... Silver/gold ones with black docks are just Meh... @Hollboll I won't submit another Angry support request though...
@mehdaf I like the white ones the best :) they just look better when you put a white phone on a white dock. I'm weird I know. @Thumperchick that was suggested my last support request....
I got this in the FUKO. It seems pretty sturdy so far, however it holds approximately two pairs of jeans, two polo shirts, a pair of socks and some underwear before it's ripping at the seams and can't easily be zipped.
Don't have a laptop to use it with. :). I've only used it twice. It's holding up fine.
We bought 3 last time. Sold one for $20, My husband uses one for all of his work stuff and I use one my business. They hold a ton and are strong. Well worth the money. In for 3 again.
I got this last time and use it as a general bag for usually taking my non laptop stuff and sometimes laptop to work (surprisingly professional job with Important People). It's great. A little wide on the NYC subway. But solid and sturdy, looks like not a cheap bag, and I've even used it going through (non-airport) metal detectors.
@mehdaf ha. I meant it in the general sense of Big Wigs in the elevator at work and this bag doesn't make me feel like an idiot kid--even though I'm almost 40.
@JT954 I've usually heard messenger bags described as having a big, comfortable strap that sits diagonally across the chest, allowing the bag to rest at the small of the back (or sometimes the side). Often this includes side attachments for the strap to help with positioning. For this bag, I only see top attachments, so it probably doesn't fit the classic definition of a messenger bag. You might be able to get away with wearing it in that fashion, but I speculate that a serious bicycle messenger would probably want a different bag for comfort reasons.
I'm in. I've been travelling by air for 15 weeks straight now and my Kenneth Cole leather case that I got as a gift is proving rather inflexible. Especially not having a strap for securing to a roller bag, this one seems like something to try (rear Ride Along strap). I mean 10 bucks, I can always sell it if it's not what I hope it is.
I wasn't going to buy this but I've been convinced. I have the backpack they sold on here a while back and love it! I'll be using this to take my new laptop back and forth to work.
Annoying airport story in India - Landed in Hyderabad and learned my luggage is still in the US. Fill out the lost luggage forms, and am sent to Customs Desk #4 to get them stamped, so I can return the stamped copy to the lost luggage guy, then I can leave.
So I head over towards deserted Desk #4, and a voice hollers at me "madam! Madam! Here!" and a uniformed officer insists I join the long line at Desk #2. I settle in for what is going to obviously be a long wait, and am enjoying the argument going on at the desk, even though I don't understand the language. I've been traveling for 24 hours now.
After a few minutes, an officer extracts himself from the ongoing argument, and casually strolls over to Desk #4. He flips open a stamp pad, shuffles some papers around, and then looks up.
He catches my eye, waves his arm and calls "Madam!?"
@NapkinEater I use to live in Milwaukee. Do you remember flying Midwest Express. Best airline ever! Huge leather seats, two per row. Champagne, hot cookies, eggs benedict with cloth napkins and glass salt and pepper shakers. The whole plane was business class - those were the days!
@mfladd I didn't start my frequent traveling until a couple years ago, but did have the good fortune to fly Midwest Express a few times. Due to severe turbulence on one occasion, I can say that Midwest Express cookies tasted almost as well coming up as they did going down.
OK woke up at 1220AM and said let me check Meh and see what crap there selling today..I love Meh crap ..this is a nice crap product that i can use ...Keep up what your doing Meh your site is awesome and love the mystery every dam day HAHA
So, my alarm goes off at 11:59, I check in at meh, think OK, I'll buy it. I get up at 7:30 and am wandering around with coffee and start having buyers remorse. WTF? Sold out? Dang! This must be a great bag! I'm keeping it!

Bought this last time it was up, holds my 17in macbook great. I use it for class all the time.
Pretty meh....
Sold 3 times now. $15 the first time, $10 the second time, and now $10 again.
Yea got this last time, generally solid, especially at this price.
Will this fit my Asus ROG Laptop.
Serious question, I need interior dimensions.
16.10 x 12.50 x 2 inches
17' screen, but never fits in 17 inch bags.
@rileyper mine measures 16 3/4" across inside the laptop compartment. Let me check the depth. I thought width was the problem.
@rileyper It would be a little of a stretch. The short answer is 17W x 12D x 2.25H inches. I have a 17" HP Envy. Just about 16.75" wide -- but only 11" deep. OTOH, $10? Might be close enough to give it a shot... really good bag.
@rileyper I hadn't heard of a 17 foot (17') laptop until tonite. No wonder it won't fit a 17 inch (17") bag! :-)
Well, it's the solo bag buyer reunion... I also bought one the last time they offered it. Great bag. Use it every day and it still looks like new.... so new, I don't really need another. But what the heck.

@phatmass Pagination? Is that like, a pagan thing?
I really don't need this, so of course I bought it.
What did I just buy???? Not sure if I need it, but at this price I will find a use for it.
I got this last time. I don't carry a 17" laptop, just a normal 15.6" and papers, books, etc. Works great, very sturdy, much better for organizing than the one work issued me. I don't fly so I use the clamshell as a third compartment and usually keep my note pad in it.
Can't beat it for many times the price.
novelty-hurried-imp
Initially thought it was pretty meh, but reviews are solid. I need a bag for my lunch and other stuff, not a laptop. If this doesn't work I just picked up a cheap gift for somone...
No purple, so meh.
Am I the only one who thinks this has gotten old?
@haydesigner or maybe it's retro
@haydesigner Careful, think this is old... Might just start using the "B" word again. >:D
How sturdy is this bag? My laptop is insanely heavy and throw in the giant power brick and no laptop bag can survive that abuse.
@mehgrl Pretty sturdy. Sturdy, in fact, to the point of being pretty stiff. It's not as flexible as some other bags, you won't be able to stuff it as full as some others. I have been carrying mine every day since I bought it in February and it still looks like new.
@mehgrl Neither can your shoulder. Get a backpack!
Oh... I see a speaker dock... and it's white... which I've been told they are sold out of... MEH... why can't you just have the white ones back?!?!? (I love the look of white on white... Silver/gold ones with black docks are just Meh... @Hollboll I won't submit another Angry support request though...
@sohmageek Careful, you'l end up with white out.
@sohmageek you must hold resentment about that if you capitalized Angry
@mehdaf I like the white ones the best :) they just look better when you put a white phone on a white dock. I'm weird I know. @Thumperchick that was suggested my last support request....
I got this in the FUKO. It seems pretty sturdy so far, however it holds approximately two pairs of jeans, two polo shirts, a pair of socks and some underwear before it's ripping at the seams and can't easily be zipped.
Don't have a laptop to use it with. :). I've only used it twice. It's holding up fine.
For $10 bucks and good reviews I can take a chance on another work bag.
heavy-killer-wolf
It's bigger on the inside?
We bought 3 last time. Sold one for $20, My husband uses one for all of his work stuff and I use one my business. They hold a ton and are strong. Well worth the money. In for 3 again.
I need a replacement for rare use, $10 seems like a good price for that.
twisted-poor-buffalo
@Thumperchick what the hell is that thing laying on the ground? An alien or an elephant?
@mehdaf I'm hoping for alien, otherwise I posted a pic of a baby elephant being gored, which is super sad.
@Thumperchick Or you could choose to believe the buffalo is grazing and the baby elephant is just rolling in the dirt...
@Thumperchick Looks like the baby elephant is okay, but learned a valuable lesson: calf is sent spinning through the air
@Fish_Kungfu Thanks for the post (link) that the calf is ok. @Thumperchick will be relieved.
@00 you capitalized Important People, anyone we would know??? Can you be specific in a generic way?
@mehdaf ha. I meant it in the general sense of Big Wigs in the elevator at work and this bag doesn't make me feel like an idiot kid--even though I'm almost 40.
Probably a stupid question, but could this also be considered a messenger bag?
@JT954 I've usually heard messenger bags described as having a big, comfortable strap that sits diagonally across the chest, allowing the bag to rest at the small of the back (or sometimes the side). Often this includes side attachments for the strap to help with positioning. For this bag, I only see top attachments, so it probably doesn't fit the classic definition of a messenger bag. TSA approved laptop bags are so pre pre-check!
My laptop (and other crap) are too heavy, I gave up on my bag and switched to a backpack.
Meh.
Y'all's testimonials have convinced me. In for two. I figure I'll need one bag to carry the other bag.
Ah, what the hell... in for three.
nappy-benign-slave
@haydesigner ಠ_ಠ
@Thumperchick.... Yep.
I wasn't going to buy this but I've been convinced. I have the backpack they sold on here a while back and love it! I'll be using this to take my new laptop back and forth to work.
I would have bought one but it sold out. meh,

And THAT was how I realized I was truly in India.
I've seen this! It's weird!
@jqubed My home airport (Milwaukee) has birds. Orlando airport has mice...and I am NOT making a Disney joke.

@NapkinEater sorry to hear that
You know what else is annoying? Waking up to a sold out Meh that I'd actually want because it's not a knife, robot vacuum, or JBL speaker dock.
@clanecks So you missed it when they sold it the other two times too. How unfortunate.
@cengland0 pains of having the sleep habits of a retired folk: 9:30pm in bed, 6:30am wake up. East coast time ftl.
@clanecks Pffft.... 12:30 am in bed (or later), 5:20 am wake up. Also EST. Priorities!
OK woke up at 1220AM and said let me check Meh and see what crap there selling today..I love Meh crap ..this is a nice crap product that i can use ...Keep up what your doing Meh your site is awesome and love the mystery every dam day HAHA

gruntled-cloying-rainstorm
@transplant -New to me -
Gruntled: pleased, satisfied, and contented.
@KDemo My goal is to use "gruntled" in a sentence this week at work.
"I'm pretty gruntled on how that meeting went!"
pretty limited inventory, this was sold out by 3am EST...
@dboeke This is the 3rd or 4th time its been on sale.
@dboeke they opened a box labeled "even moar speaker docks" and those bags fell out ;)
Meh. may I just say that for $10 I am super happy with this for a work bag!
@mfladd - You may.
