The shark vac for me. Couldn’t afford to buy one when it came out but so want. The dirt container on that small one I bought needs emptied multiple times when I vacuum a 2 room apt (cats contribute).

@lisaviolet I missed a regular fuko once because I was giving my sick kitty a drink of water. That’s the only time I haven’t gotten mad about missing it- she was so much more important to me than a box of meh.
@Pony This little girl has inflammatory bowel, with really nasty, runny poop. We’ve been fighting it for a month now. Three weeks of metronidazole, one week of prednisilone, 60cc of lactated ringers (subQ fluids, with a 20 gauge syringe, which is really slow) every night. On top of that, she has a thyroid problem and gets meds twice a day for that.
Just this weekend I tried the metro and pred together and that seems to have made her feel a little better and the poop doesn’t look so much like water. I called the vet this morning and left a message and we picked up more meds. Pred for life, metronidazole for two more weeks.
She’s only been on the pred (a steroid) since last Wednesday and it takes longer than a week to work on the problem.
Yeah, when I saw that I’d missed it last night for the first time it was “oh, well, priorities”.
@lisaviolet watch out for infections with the pred. My cat was on it for asthma (recently diagnosed) and now is losing her hair on her nose due to a skin infection that we can’t get under control (even after weaning her off of that).
Kickstarter and VMP, but apparently I’m destined to spend lots of time proving I’m not a robot so I wasn’t able to purchase any of the items I wanted. Oh well, I’ve successfully spent money in the past and will do so again. Enjoyed the first Meh-rathon and next time I hope to be able to purchase stuff!
