Ok, as with the previous deal with keto branded items, these bars are not as low carb as they seem. As of 2021 the FDA made any food item that has IMO labeled as fiber to edit their labeling as it has been shown not to be processed in the body as fiber. Same reason those tasty Kirkland protein bars are now 10g net carbs instead of 3g-4g.
Second rule of keto: don’t trust anything that says keto on the lable Long time keto diet follower here, recommending you avoid this deal… unless you want to crap your brains out in a smelly liquid stream from MCT oil. If that’s the case, press that button!
@guybrush01, because these CPB 🧈 bars don’t melt like regular chocolate bars!! If you wanna die when you’re starving to death then, yeah, eat these; the corronor would rule your untimely death as an obvious suicide. LOL!! Dr Kevorkian used to always prescribe these bars for excellent outcomes!!
I’ve tried both the oil and the bars with no GI distress. I’m not living on either but I have had several bars in a day. Just a view to try to show balance. I’ve obviously do not have an interest in your purchasing anything.
@mexicantacos, well, my dog won’t eat these, nor will he eat Mexican tacos, so you are safe,…now you friend, Mr Mexicanburrito , that’s a different story, or rather, a whole different food, a whole different you!!
@MegaHenzoid, Who¿? That is what my wife would say, but I don’t got one, for that very reason,…I don’t want any women calling me names & I’m Not near smart enough to be called anything very intelligent, artificial, or flesh & blood, but if I were I probably wouldn’t be a meh member!! I do have to ask though, what prompted you to post that odd comment¿?
LOL $242 comparison if you ONLY buy the 8-oz bottles at $16.49 each where literally in the same listing, you can get 16-oz bottles for 12.98. Then the comparison really comes all the way down to ~$123. Just about half of what you’re claiming it compares to.
The carbs in those peanut butter chocolete bars may be delicious as meh states on the 1st page, but the bars sure Are Not; they taste terrible!! I know & am not simply clucking outta the side of my neck,…I bought 8 pkgs of 5 pee box=40 as one purchase on 01• 26• 21 for $20 & could Not even finish 1 bar.
I have both of these. I think the bars taste fine. Just don’t expect them to taste like candy. I add the oil to my coffee, and to my surprise I’ve found I now prefer it that way. I never would have guessed that. FWIW I’ve lost 10 pounds. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@ParadisePete When I did keto, I added heavy cream and MCT oil to coffee and keto shakes to add fat. It worked like a charm, and I only had GI issues for a day or two, and then my body got used to it. I actually prefer coffee that way now, though I usually just add heavy cream these days. So silky…
@ParadisePete hey if you don’t mind me asking, how much MCT oil do you put in your coffee for each serving? I’m mainly interested in this deal for the oil and I’m trying to see how many servings I can get out of 96 ounces!
@theanthonyya I turn it upside down and count to four. It’s less than a teaspoon. I settled on 4 after trying different counts. It makes the coffee more “hearty” without losing the taste. I’ve found that it makes me feel more full and easier to avoid snacking. My breakfast is typically two eggs, one piece of toast, one cup of coffee. Then I have another cup later in the morning. That gets me to lunch without snacking.
The bottle claims 16 servings. I’m getting more than that. I’m on my third bottle after two months.
@ParadisePete thank you for the detailed answer! Damn, I think you might have sold me on it! I’m trying to reduce my snacking and this sounds like a solid way to do so. Thanks again!
I’ve been keto for 1.5 years and don’t like this brand. Besides the fact they don’t taste good, all the fiber is completely unnecessary and they don’t use the sweeteners with 0 glycemic index. So it spikes my insulin.
Bought boxes of these keto products when Meh offered them once before. The chocolate on every single bar and fat bomb thing was white and stale - had to throw everything out.
@kaypea Unlike the “sell by” expiration date on perishable foods, the “best by” date on sealed packaged foods is just a guideline, and in some cases arguably a ploy to get people to throw out and replace (buy more of) goods that are still safely edible.

Meh, don’t you think I know I need to lose weight?

@atravis6, or purchase this pckg to use as your flushing-out prep doses on your next Colonoscopy & or Upper GI [EDG]. Yeah, that’s da ticket!!
Those ingredients look scrumptious.
@phendrick
/giphy PURE MCT OIL FROM NON-GMO COCONUT OIL
I bought the bars in this pack when they were offered separately.
They… aren’t good. They are “I keep a few in the car in case I get run off the road and am stranded and need something to survive on” quality.

@guybrush01 Pay Day bars. Problem solved.
I’ve tried both the oil and the bars with no GI distress. I’m not living on either but I have had several bars in a day. Just a view to try to show balance. I’ve obviously do not have an interest in your purchasing anything.
The bars are bad. Your body treats IMOs (much of the “fiber”) like it’s sugar. Do not buy them.
The oil is good for you tho.
https://perfectketo.com/soluble-tapioca-fiber/ for the truth on IMOs.
Are the bars pet friendly?
@mexicantacos, well, my dog won’t eat these, nor will he eat Mexican tacos, so you are safe,…now you friend, Mr Mexicanburrito , that’s a different story, or rather, a whole different food, a whole different you!!
@1DisabledWarVet I’m starting to think you’re some kind of rogue AI

Anyone else hearing Claire read that massive ingredient list?
I’m diabetic and low carb and I even I don’t want to eat this crap.
I have both of these. I think the bars taste fine. Just don’t expect them to taste like candy. I add the oil to my coffee, and to my surprise I’ve found I now prefer it that way. I never would have guessed that. FWIW I’ve lost 10 pounds. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@theanthonyya Good luck! All I can really say is that it works for me.

Anyone else realize it expires before it can be consumed?
@kaypea I mean there’s no such thing as an experation date. So it’s hard to pay attention to nonsense

I’m not at all interested in the bars or the oil, but the shrimp salad shown in the header banner looks really good.
