I remember skull candy being good headphones on the cheap. The Ear buds were not as nice and died quickly, but the set I’m thinking of was years ago, so maybe it’s become better.
Maybe I’ll buy this, but I’ve settled on buying Sound Core ear buds.
Can they make a margarita? No but they can help you hear on the phone when you call to order a margarita take out to be delivered while fittingly being adorned in Georgia red. @jouest There. Fixed it for you.
I was ready to pull the trigger and have them on their way, then I decided to do a quick web search before ordering. Here’s what I found…
(Skullcandy can only support SBC, which is the worst codec in terms of latency and quality. Changing the codec in dev options on the phone won’t help that because the codec limitation is a hardware limitation on the earbuds themselves.)
These would be good for kids at that price.
Would be curious what the date code is on these.
I’m now On the fence on these
I’ve found that this model goes back to 2021, that doesn’t mean these are that old. Just that this model/version has been around awhile. Could be a +
I’m all in for bargain Bluetooth buds, but these are old and terrible - look up some newer reviews. Plenty of good options on year old Soundcores out there in the $15 range and they will last you well over a year. Sorry for being that guy… Not even a meh. Sorry.
I love my skull candy headphones. (Hesh 2 wireless) I mostly use them for watching videos on my computer, but sometimes when it’s hot I don’t like wearing them. In for a pair of these for hot summer nights.

I bought these once, I hated these always. They connected poorly, sometimes one would connect but not the other, they never stayed charged, somehow one would occasionally pop loose of the magnet in the charging case and then randomly connect to my phone or just drain itself. They are weighted poorly and feel like they will fall out of your ear anytime. I just threw them in the trash. I really hate these. Meh should throw them in the trash. Don’t recommehnd at all
I enjoy the Skullcandy sound. I used them with my discman way back when, and my brain thinks that what is all 90s music is supposed to sound like. Much like Pony, I wear my hesh 2s around the house, but Skullcandy are also my preferred walking around buds. I’ve never used this particular style, but I have used several others and never been disappointed.
I’m not buying these today because I just scored their newest set for cheap. (but I didn’t win a trip to the Salt Lake City music festival)
I haven’t tried this brand, but so far no earbuds stay in my ears. When I got a fully wireless pair, I quickly lost one of them mowing the lawn. It must have burrowed into the sod, because I still haven’t found it. I have a pair that are wired together, but still bluetooth. At least if one falls out, the other usually stays in long enough to fix the situation. I’m tempted to try SkullCandy’s sound and hope for the best in terms of fit, but I see I could just get a fully wired pair even cheaper. Then they can both fall out of my ears and still be attached to my phone.
They’re like X-Men colors. Neat. Too bad I abandoned true wireless buds for around the neck speakers. I refuse to go back to sticking things in my ears. Gimme some obnoxiously colored neck speakers and I’m in.

I think these are the same ones I have and use (in grey).
That’s all I have to say and contribute to this conversation.
Regular candy rots your teeth, so do these rot your brain?
Or is that a function of the podcasts or music you play through them?
Do you prefer (or hate)
or
and why?
@phendrick face it Everything rots something

@dahobbs9 do you really trust a battery manufactured three to four years ago?
“AI” is skull candy so sweet it rots your brain and leaves a cavity.
@DrunkCat Any luck with her yet?
@yakkoTDI There are always inflatables “@DrunkCat” could try if his luck is still down.
In before people start complaining about Micro USB.

@rmcclel
Uh oh. That means they’ll be in the next IRK.
@ItalianScallion @rmcclel been there, got that

I’m still partial to the 89 blue.

Until the next time you change phones at least.
Looks too much like Superman colors

There will be no shoving of Georgia Red. . . get out of here.
How long does shipping take ? Is it shipping within US?
@smiley02 Yes, within the U.S. and it says
(Emphasis on estimated)
