Model: FA1-0199-06BB

The omni-directional RF remote control requires no line of sight so you can focus on your goals and not your aim.
It affixes conveniently to your exercise equipment or magnetically snaps onto the main unit out of the way, and ready when you are. When you’re engaged in vigorous exercise, your body produces as much as eight times as much C02 as compared to when you’re at lower activity levels.
FLY 01 transforms your fitness routines to keep the air you breathe replenished let alone is a superior way to keep your cool during your workout.

@jaybird I almost bought that one assuming that the item on meh.com serves as credit for the IRK cost. But then I read the fine print - there was none - so no credit lol
@Rowsdower Every Walmart review says, “This review was collected as part of a promotion,” except one. Of course, they’re going to be biased and overwhelmingly positive.
So the irk they are showing at Sidedeal charges us $40 and even if we buy something at Meh, we are still charged $40? If true, that IS nuts. My last Irk included a turkey that you blow up and things went downhill from there. I am certainly not going to spend that kind of money for the stuff I got! I am rather new at this, so somebody explain if you can purchase something that offsets the price of the Irk??
Does anyone know if this has a continuous power switch? Meaning, if it is on when you unplug it, does it come back on when plugged in again? Or will it be off, and you have to turn it on manually?
I other words, can you control it with a smart switch?
And most of the reviews are people using it with a stationary bike or treadmill. Is it good for cooling a room or is it just good for a focused spot?
3.0 out of 5 stars ok….but pricey

bought for living room, not exercise area.
pros: design - wireless remote - tilt adjustment
cons: weak performance for the money - the low setting noise is fine. higher settings produce high pitch noise - bigger footprint for the performance.(when compared to other blower-style fans) - the electronic switch is not analog. so if power is disrupted it will not automatically come on when power is restored. (wish i would have know that before purchasing)
if design aesthetic is more important than price and performance, this is the fan for you. it looks great for office or living area. if you want to move a lot more air, quieter, cheaper with a smaller footprint and are willing to sacrifice a cool design, i’d recommend the xpower P-80A Mini Mighty. i have both (photo shown with P-80a for size comparison)
it would definitely be worth $50 but not the $100 that i paid
Not sure what the deal is lately with Vornados… I like them, but I really have no need for another. And Sharper Image products seem a little cheaply made IMO.
Ugh. I’ve been moving a fan back and forth to the “pain cave” for Zwift and have been resisting getting one of these for a while. But okay, fine. lousy-experienced-art
I’ll put this right here so I feel better about going over the monthly budget:
Snapped on this and missed the IRK. LOVE this fan.
THIS is the missing part of all exercise equipment.
If you have to stand still and run, set this up blowing in your face from the floor to get the sensation of running down a hill on a cool day.

This is cool, but I’m not a fan.
$40 side deal irk with no discounts? No thanks.
@jaybird Keep looking, friend.
@jaybird @mossygreen sold out at $20
@datruandi @jaybird @mossygreen think I bought the $20 one just before sell out!
@mossygreen never saw that one

@jaybird They said there’ll be more over the weekend, hopefully the price won’t go up (or down, as then I’ll be mad I bought at $20).
/showme Darth Vader but his mask is a vornado fan

a 40 dollar irk with no coupons or refunds is bonkers, sorry
I like me funny-looking fans, but I don’t need this.
Is this Vornado in celebration of the release of the recent Vwisters movie?
This fan looks cool but I am too poor for it.
If you thought this post was gonna be a set up for fan-based puns, blow me

@ripper69 It doesn’t look like it this time around. They’ve been switching things up a lot lately so the rules keep changing.
I love tonight’s clicky face with the animated blowing leaves!

@uscpsycho this is advertised as including its own remote, so a smart switch might not be necessary.
I have this similar-looking Lasko blower, hooked up to a smart switch, which I use for Zwift cycling. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Lasko-Pivoting-Pro-Blower-Fan-U12104/312762497
These kinds of fans do a great job moving air in a single, focused column, which is great for exercising, bad for cooling an entire room.
@orphum @uscpsycho You can’t talk to a remote, though.
@LocoLobo79 Xfinity begs to differ!
@Alien88 I mean I have remotes you can speak to also, but I mean this one lol

Then why does my beer still get flat while I’m vigorously doing my elbow bend exercises?
This site blows lately.

Two more Irks showed up. One for $25. The other for $35. They are just too much for me. Have at 'em Meh Folk.
In for a $25 IRK. What the hell. I have wasted more for less.
Snapped on this and missed the IRK. LOVE this fan.
