I’ve got one of these for $35 back in 2015. It was the display model from Home Depot. I always loved it.
Well, truth be told… I loved how well my cleaning girl got my floors cleaned with it. And I loved the feeling of knowing that they’d been sanitized. Then, covid came and the cleaning girl left.
These days my guy is in charge of the floors, he prefers the Swiffer system so the Shark is just hanging out in the closet! I’m just happy to have beautiful floors!
Have the much older 3601 model for years and it has always performed well. Cord shorted out on it a few weeks ago. I repaired it myself but knew then the repair was temporary. Timing on this is good, going for it, reviews seem quite positive in the jungle.
@Kidsandliz Thanks! I did and while waiting for their reply, I realized I tried to use the IRK coupon, when I should have used to Case of Cheer one. Got my order in!
I love mine and would buy again . I’m on my 2nd . not that there was something wrong with the first. We have really bad water and I should have followed directions… I’m so sorry shark steamer…
Got this last time it was up for grabs here, and it is awesome. Specs say it comes with “2x Dirt drip pads” and it only came with one, just a heads up.
@Kyeh Yup I did, they were cool about it. Said they couldn’t give me an extra pad, but they gave me a few bucks back. Just wanted to make sure everybody had a heads up in case they only get one when it says 2.
@Kyeh@neumant Mine came with only 1 pad, and that’s what the box says it would have in the box (though it didn’t match the listing). Looks like a nice thick good-quality pad though — looking to find out where I can buy more.
@Kyeh@pmarin If you can find them let me know please. I ordered these off eBay “Shark Steam Pocket Mop Pads 2 Pack New In Box Washable Dirt Grip Compatible” (the listing is no longer active or I would share a direct link) and they work, but they aren’t the same as the one that came with it. Can’t find any official ones in stock from Shark anywhere.
I thought the one that came with it seemed heavy duty too, but apparently they are only good after throwing them in the washer so many times.
Worst comes to worse maybe I will just throw down a microfiber cloth. The mop itself seems to work great anyways!

Should i remove my pants before i steam mop my pockets?
My steam pockets are self-mopping, thanks.
No, I am not happy to see you. It’s a mop in my pocket.

These are good. The model that has the twin rotating pads is so much better though.
@ohhwell You are not referring to the Floor Police gadget, are you?

I don’t know…
Unconvinced pooch is giving me the side-eye…
Will this mop beat me at chess?
@OnionSoup If you are trying to play chess against a mop, you have already lost.
@werehatrack but this mop is a “genius”.
tried to use the $5 irk coupon but it didn’t work. I thought it expired in Dec 2024?

These are good but I prefer the Shark cyborg 9000. It cleans and can also dig a 600ft wide x 100ft deep hole if needed. Bonus!!
@bugger But can it do that while singing “St James Infirmary”?
@bugger
How wide though? 1" or 10 miles?
@werehatrack I wish. I’d max the 3 count on that one
@yakkoTDI Need to view the YouTube video for details like that.
@bugger @yakkoTDI It’s a circular hole, silly.
/showme a Shark genius

VAN GOGH! MANGO! TANGO! AWESOME!
@neumant Seems like you should contact support about the missing pad.

@neumant Oh, good. They’ve always been nice when I’ve had problems with orders, too.
