I don’t even understand the whole obsession with selfies for anything!! Thank goodness cell phones weren’t around when I was growing up, that’s all I’ve got to say about it!
@Kyeh@Lynnerizer Honestly, when the usage of that word first became popular, I had an entirely different idea of what it meant, especially as I’d mostly hear it from teenagers.
It’s a big thing with guys on dating sites, for some reason. IMO, that’s one of the worst places to take a selfie; it’s like they’re too lazy to find a good background and pose better. Unless they’re all married and this is the only place they can take one without getting caught…
I’m also not a fan of selfies on boats; it just looks like they’re showing off. Plus I’m not a boat person, so that’s an instant No for me.

@lisagd it’s a huuuuuge red flag for me. Cars are awful, period, so why drag that into a pic or a video or a zoom call?!

@lisagd @UncleVinny I got two bathroom shots and a hallway shot for my selfies. I would have more but I only got my first camera phone around 2005.
