@IWUJackson@LaVikinga Alas, it wasn’t the driver, who was on Instagram live that removed herself, but rather, her 14 year old sister was the one who didn’t make it.
@narfcake I saw the links about the live stream accident floating around on reddit several days ago, but chose not to look any deeper into it since they intimated it was a fairly horrific story. This link is gonna stay blue, too. I can only hope the individual who was live streaming gets a helluva lot of counseling in the future. I absolutely to not want to even begin to imagine what is playing out right now in that family.
Truly disappointed Irk. I saw the KISS script on your title & thought, “OH YEAH! FINALLY SOME GREAT BACKGROUND MUSIC FOR YOU TO SING OVER!!” But alas, all I got was the…well you know…MEH music.
I remember when FaceTime first came out on iPhones and was restricted to wifi networks only… I jailbroke my phone and At&T could suck it! (I think I still worked at At&T at the time too) I face timed my friend. She asked me why I had a seatbelt on to call her… I told her I was driving down the highway… she didn’t believe me. I flipped the camera and she saw cars coming at her. She believed me then. Hehe. (I had a car windshield mount that it was attached to so it was safe)
@sohmageek I can’t resist, gotta give you a hard time. Flipping your camera required paying attention to your screen and interacting with it, ergo sending safe out the window.
Also, windshield mounts are arguably not safe as they obstruct your view of some portion of the road and, by nature of their position, leave the phone in a position such that it can become a distraction itself. (Case in point: face time while driving )
People taking selfies at 90mph down the state roads need to be removed from the gene pool…
