Late 2015 club here, where are my socks?? This is why middle managers don’t want employees comparing salaries: we’re gonna see what our peers got but we’ve been missing out on

junkstuff here, so appreciate the shipping covered by the VMP. Definitely a plus.i’ve slowed down on Casemates, but the VMP saves there.
Most advantageous is the discount at SD and MS. That alone has been equal to the cost for me many times.
Agree those extra perks have been AWOL.
I like the free shipping for VMP, but keep forgetting about the discount on the other sites.
Exclusive VMP merch happens pretty often. Maybe a couple times a month? Not sure how you’ve never seen it.
I think the Send Noods event was VMP only, but not sure if that counts as a private event or testing new features.
Looks like last one was for Valentine’s Day, so less often than I had guessed.

Hmmm, I agree, I haven’t seen a VMP only, in a long time, if ever. Were the glasses VMP only? Not complaining, the free shipping alone is worth it. There are many times I wouldn’t have bought something if it weren’t for the free shipping. I use the 10% off, but I’m not getting any coupons. I use to see the reserved for VMP at like 0400, but haven’t seen that either in awhile. Still worth it, take my $5!
Every time I’ve tried to use my VMP coupon code on MorningSave or SideDeal, I’ve gotten an error saying it can’t be applied.
I’ve been questioning why I’m still paying $60/year for a little icon on my profile.
And FWIW, I never got any socks either.

VMP does not work on the daily deal
Often better to wait for the next day and use the discount, but not always, you gotta judge, lol
I did get the socks. They actually sent me an empty bag at first, which I thought was hilarious and true to the bit, and then I complained about the missing socks, and received the socks. That was back in Jan 2020… Good times in hindsight.
I’ve never bought enough to make it worth it, but the real issue is that I moved from PST to EST, and midnight and 4 pm EST really do not fit with my schedule. It would be nice if there was a different pool of stock for VMP members available at the start of sale, and maybe release more stock into that pool with every hour. I don’t know. Aside from that and shipping, all the other points are just window dressing…
At the moment I’m about break even on free shipping versus VMP fees. I’ve placed 115 orders ($575 value) and been a member since October of 2015 ($565 cost) . Of course if I factor in months where I could have gotten free shipping on the second item by turning it on/turning it off (in the early days) that savings number changes, but that’s way too much effort for me.
