yeah…i would rather receive flowers, a card, booze, or a gift card to the local gas station or grocery store or plain ol’ nothing at all over this type of jewelry. js. (and this goes for all jewelry i have seen on meh thus far.)
esp given the size - it honestly would be way better (but still not good) if the pendant were really tiny. not to mention it’s all misshapen on the side where the chain attaches. and that’s clearly visible in the promotional images, i can only imagine what this thing looks like irl.
but seriously - better to keep a stash of cards, and if you must give a last minute gift and want to give jewelry, go on etsy, pay the same amount for something that’s handmade and actually nice, then write/illustrate/paste a picture into the card and say something about how the cool thing you had custom made for them is taking a bit longer than expected. apologize and let them know it will arrive at their address any day now, and tell them how swell they are.

@RiotDemon I did and I was asked to take a picture, which is nearly impossible due to the small size of the pendant, but I did my best. The support representative claimed that it looked like there was a stone in the casing, which I can assure you there is not.

@PCON22 does your camera have a macro setting? If it does, use that, turn on bright lights from as many sides as you can, turn off flash.
