@callow @Star2236 So was the ice cream bread bad? I’ve been curious about trying some sort of ice cream baked goods. I have a big container of coconut cream pie ice cream that was disappointing.

I never liked sauerkraut as a kid but I make kraut and noodles now and love it. It’s probably the stick and half of butter I put in there that makes it taste so good, I also add water to the sauerkraut and boil it out for about an hour so the sauerkraut is softer and not as strong tasting. I can see how baking the kraut in the chocolate cake would take on a chocolate flavor.

@callow @Star2236 My mother used to make chicken dish with sauerkraut that was good; it called for rinsing the sourness out of it and it had a rich sauce (probably also butter.) I should see if I can get that recipe from her…
