So basically this will only work in Arizona or somewhere with dry heat. Good luck using this anywhere there is any sort of humidity (well getting any relief from it I mean).
@Nexar Living in the Southeast US, this is the first thought that came to my mind. Do you want soaking wet clothes? This is how you get soaking wet clothes.
There’s only one article of clothing this device won’t leave soaking wet.
@Jamileigh17 the one you linked requires you to pull a trigger to mist. Not that I am defending this product, simply noting we’re comparing apples and pineapples here.
@Kidsandliz@jbartus@Pavlov
Bought one of these on clearance @ Home Depot for like $50. Even in humid TX it works pretty well because you can use icy water. Lasts for more than 2hr. Only hassle is carrying fan + bucket w/ water.

@alacrity I’ve been enjoying your little bit these past few days but if you can’t see the margarita applications in this product then you really can’t be helped. At worst, you could fill this up with Dos Equis for a lightly misted Dosarita.
@Moose i’m a purist- this thing won’t deliver a good, solid dose unless you remove the misting tip- at which point you have a $30 squirt gun.
now- were you to fill it with vermouth, and mist the inside of a frosted martini glass just prior to straining iced vodka (or gin) into it… then this would be useful.
@Kidsandliz I was wondering about that myself. Could be they use a different calculation in the early minutes before things stabilize, so you don’t get ridiculous numbers like 123,932 per hour.
Kinda like how progress bars that use a naive algorithm indicate you have 2 days remaining… and then 3 seconds… and then 25 minutes etc…
The problem here in Florida is not a lack of moisture in the air. That is the problem. Whether you sweat or use a mister, there is too much moisture in the air to allow evaporation to produce the cooling sensation.
So meh is asking me to spend $30 to make my hair all humid and frizzy ON PURPOSE? Sell me a little damn USB fan to cool me off. This is just an abomination.
@Zebra I can’t say for this one, but the 1/2 gallon garden sprayer at Lowe’s will spit a decent 4’-6’ stream of ignited ethanol when pumped to max pressure.
(for a little while. then you should run into a wet blanket and stay there until the ambulance arrives.)
After much consideration I’ve decided that the best use of this device is to offer my friends a hit off my “vape” and record their reactions. Sadly, a bit too pricy for a prank.
As a fish out of water, I really love this RealXGear Fogger!!! It keeps me just wet enough to breath while I try my hand at running this bookstore here in Gary Indiana. It sure will be a big departure from my last job, being an accountant for a giant company on the east coast… but I am sure there will be plenty of laughs along the way.
I really like how it keeps on fogging for seven hours on a full charge, and how it has a low noise level, so as not to distract me as I flop back into the life giving mist and breath again.
In for 4 in purple and of course I got VMP… it is a slightly cooler and somewhat damper way to save.
An amusement park near me has several large industrial versions of this set up on their sidewalks; it does feel incredibly good to walk through a mist when it’s 90 degrees out. I would have bought one of these a month ago, but it’s 55 degrees out this morning.
Curious to know if this item is the biggest flop so far or if there have been worse. Of course, it’s only noon EST so there might still be a crazy run on these. Or meh.com may only have a few hundred.
I live in Vegas… it’s not a bad idea for cooling off while biking in the desert mountains… my bearded dragon needs to be misted besides letting him swim around in the bathtub… even lizards need to stay well groomed

I totally thought this was a refrigerant leak detector. That was close, I almost bought one.
Tom Selleck is the only Mister I need.
Hey mister – this is cool! By the way, is this purple rain in honor of the late musician Prince?
@AttyVette Yeah we like to honor dead celebrities at least three months after they pass, just in case it turns out to be a hoax.
@AttyVette No, it’s Barney-flavored pepper spray / money explosive dye pack.
@mike808 I love purple.
Summer is over meh!
$30? Really?
(And I’d literally swallow my tongue if I saw that $100 retail sticker in a store.)
/giphy $30 really?
I’ll save you $29 and sell you manual pump
SPRAY BOTTLE and still make money . . . WTF
How is this even a thing?
@Pavlov Did you read the description?
@cjrucsb Nope - this thing was too fucking stupid to bother.
What the…I mean…

#3Months2L8
@hems79 #NextYear
Can I use it to put weed killer on my lawn?
@cengland0
Or to put weed in my lungs?
Didnt even break a sweat to hit meh on this one you mist by a mile on this deal
So basically this will only work in Arizona or somewhere with dry heat. Good luck using this anywhere there is any sort of humidity (well getting any relief from it I mean).
@Nexar
Yeah, engineers obviously have never visited AL/GA/LA/FL etc. Damp skin never a problem there.
@Nexar Living in the Southeast US, this is the first thought that came to my mind. Do you want soaking wet clothes? This is how you get soaking wet clothes.
There’s only one article of clothing this device won’t leave soaking wet.
Are these for people who don’t sweat?
And at $100 (msrp), does Medicare or blue shield cover it?
This is more huh? than meh…
You’ll be sorry you mist this…
Nope. Got mine.
And didn’t cost 30 bucks either.
Wow a plant mister!! Meh I’ll skip
Meh really mist the boat with this one.
Ridiculously overpriced. https://www.walmart.com/ip/34416194?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227023237283&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40876333712&wl4=pla-78767466032&wl5=9007285&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=34416194&wl13=&veh=sem does the same thing+a fan. These things always get lost before they break anyway.
@Jamileigh17 Yeah a fan on it would make sense. In fact if you are already sweating, just use the fan. LOL
@Jamileigh17 Except it’s not the same thing, is it?
@Jamileigh17 the one you linked requires you to pull a trigger to mist. Not that I am defending this product, simply noting we’re comparing apples and pineapples here.

From Amazon…
“Tried to contact manufacturer, apparently they have moved to Dubai”…
OK, if I lived in Dubai, I might have a use for this…
@eeterrific You’d think Dubai slave labor would at least make this cheaper…
@Ayanami Does it make oil cheaper?
I’m holding out for 800
It’s a holiday, let’s overprice it to make sure Tuesday isn’t so bad on the shipping department.
Right. 90+% humidity where I live. And I’d want to add more? meh.
still absolutely useless for margaritas.
@alacrity I’ve been enjoying your little bit these past few days but if you can’t see the margarita applications in this product then you really can’t be helped. At worst, you could fill this up with Dos Equis for a lightly misted Dosarita.

@alacrity @moose
When the first review on Amazon says “Avoid at all cost,” I tend to think that includes thirty bucks.
This at $30 still has me mystified.
Dollar Tree and Walmart often sell pump spray bottles. $1 or less than. Just sayin’.
@f00l my first thought too
@f00l do they “portable” in the title though?
That’s the ugliest looking hookah I’ve seen in a while
If I add this to my car AC vents, can I make snow?
Can someone verify that a solution of 40-50% ethanol will not dissolve or otherwise break down any part of this?
I could see using it with such at places that don’t allow such solutions to be carried in.
@baqui63 Are you saying that you want to mist yourself drunk at a football game or something?
@Ayanami Basically… and yes, for football, albeit at a baseball stadium. Tho not drunk…
So…the batteries will mist out about a case of “recycled” beer per charge.
Does it come with a funnel? Not sure my aim is all that great.
What about Mr. Ed?
@meansjj Mr. Ed does not mist.
I had my fill of this expression a while ago but It’s a perfect fit here… Seriously?
@alacrity
@sohmageek points!
Mister by this much. Not a smart buy Maxwell.
@radi0j0hn booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
(tossing peanut shells in your general direction)
Now this is a laugh. It is 11:07, says sold 19, about 1 per hour… @shawn (19/7)*60 = 162 or so an hour.
@Kidsandliz their system is flawed. It’s over 24 hours. So 19 in 24 hours rounds up to 1 per hour.
The problem here in Florida is not a lack of moisture in the air. That is the problem. Whether you sweat or use a mister, there is too much moisture in the air to allow evaporation to produce the cooling sensation.

But the comment section here has actually completely changed my mind. Yeah, fuck this, I’m canceling.
What a joke
I would consider this if it lasted more than 20 minutes, as I’m interested in a way to keep a car cool if you sleep in it during the day.
As is, this thing wouldn’t even last long enough to get me to sleep.
@koifish You MIGHT want to reconsider sleeping in hot cars.
@MehAmphetamine It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, you need the cool.
Play Misty for me.
So meh is asking me to spend $30 to make my hair all humid and frizzy ON PURPOSE? Sell me a little damn USB fan to cool me off. This is just an abomination.
A Grail? No thanks, we’ve already got one…
https://www.walmart.com/ip/RL-Flo-Master-40-oz-Hand-Held-Sprayer/39992655
May have a use with different liquids ??
@Zebra I can’t say for this one, but the 1/2 gallon garden sprayer at Lowe’s will spit a decent 4’-6’ stream of ignited ethanol when pumped to max pressure.
(for a little while. then you should run into a wet blanket and stay there until the ambulance arrives.)
I get sweaty just walking to my car. Don’t need to add any more moisture with this ridiculous humidity.
Now if it was some kind of special mini a.c. unit…
After much consideration I’ve decided that the best use of this device is to offer my friends a hit off my “vape” and record their reactions. Sadly, a bit too pricy for a prank.
@MehAmphetamine
/giphy 39 suckers and counting
Great! Except for that kick at the end.
@hems79 I agree, except if you watch the long-form version. Kick is understandable, but perhaps not justified.
So much nope.
/giphy You have totally mist me on this deal meh
Is this a stupid product… or is this a stupid product?
Did you accidentally add that zero Meh?
Everyone buy these up so we don’t see them ever again.
Come on. This has GOT to be a new low. Not worth being vmp any more. Fun’s overdone, scorched, burned up. Use your “Mister” on that
Now I know why the page shakes back and forth
Logged in just to meh this.
/giphy true story

@cshillaber Only 6-7 stars (on a 1-5 scale)? This has to be one of your lowest ratings ever.
What is this douchbaggery all about? I feel like this is a really good joke however I’ve read the description several times and still I’ve mist it.
No Bluetooth? No sale.
I think I know whats ending up in the next fuko
when your relaxing, trying to get a tan and there is no electrical outlet nearby this is great!–don’t be so closed minded
Did you ask if it identifies as a mister?
@jc283 Now that’s funny!
An amusement park near me has several large industrial versions of this set up on their sidewalks; it does feel incredibly good to walk through a mist when it’s 90 degrees out. I would have bought one of these a month ago, but it’s 55 degrees out this morning.
Buy it now, so that you won’t be able to find it next summer under all the other meh.com crap
Maybe for 2 or 3 dollars. Also, charging and discharging the battery will make the ambient environment hotter. What a waste of money.
I remember way back when we had to pump it by hand.
Curious to know if this item is the biggest flop so far or if there have been worse. Of course, it’s only noon EST so there might still be a crazy run on these. Or meh.com may only have a few hundred.
@AnnaB we should be so lucky, there’s probably half a warehouse of these bad boys.
Actually received one as a gift…totally useless
238 of these sold?!
For $30???
You people are such idiots!!
No offense.
@zachdecker please encourage the purchase of this fine item so we don’t see it weekly until sold out
@jake5snooze Keep buying, idiots!
don’t do it! it would be a huge mistake. MIST ake. MIST-AKE. you get it.
Not sold out? Imagine that.
Mister, Please!
Meh!!!
I’m sure these will be scarfed up by 6:00 a.m. by all those V people.
@gertiestn kek
This is the biggest disappointment since that other thing.
I live in Vegas… it’s not a bad idea for cooling off while biking in the desert mountains… my bearded dragon needs to be misted besides letting him swim around in the bathtub… even lizards need to stay well groomed
It’s now 104 dollars on fu***** amazon to all those who called buyers idiots… I say good day sir!!! Who’s the idiot
@dbortolini01 me for not getting one
@dbortolini01 FYI, it’s okay to say “fucking”.
Junk never worked
@vicvinegar Hallo Freund. Es hat zwei Jahre gedauert, bis Sie hierher zurückgekehrt sind?
