Those of you who buy these: what do you do with them? Can you take them to Lenscrafters and talk them into putting prescription lenses into them? Can you glue them to your wall and make a creepy but interesting collage?? Can you put them in your fridge to keep them fresher longer…?
@shahnm If you do get Lenscrafters to slide in some real lenses you would lose the Ray Ban icon on the left lens ergo, they would look like an average pair of, or generic glasses!! No Thank You, No Thank You Very Much!!
Lenscrafters and Ray Ban are owned by the same Italian company. However, since they won’t put new lenses in the frames they sold last year, i doubt they would put lenses in these.
@craigthom-I may jump the gun, but my argument was that if LC, or Any other establishment that can put in prescription lenses, should they replace them there would be know Ray Ban insgnia labeled on the left lens. Regardless of whether there was the words Ray Ban on the temple, on the ear stims, or whatever, even if the Logo was on every separate piece. In any case, there would be No Logo on the left lens! Comprenda? I am only reponding because I recieved a notification, but it takes only simple logic & common sense to read betwwen the lines. I will not explain each & every sentence I make; life is too short for that!!
@Hanky@shahnm- I heard that! I took a pair of slightly broken glasses to Lens Crafters once & they said, “No, we don’t do that.” I was at a mall, so walked across the way & went to a privately owned optomotrist who said, “Yea, they do that thinking you will just buy a new pair from them,” He had them fixed!! “Some places enjoy being Ass-holes”!! That was what he said next!!
@obxer You miss the point and Ass ume my point!! Whether we (or we in you mind) do as you say (but don’t mean)The Fact, Just A Fact, mind you, that if Anyone Replaces The Lens Then There Is NO Logo On The Replacement Lens. If You Can Prove That Wrong Then I SWEAR i Will Buy A Pair. The reason I don’t buy a psir {or 2,or 3} is because the said Logo DOES NOT impress me!! Did You Purchase a Pair, oboxer?¿¿ By the way, this communique is over!! 10-4, Roger That?? Over & Out!!
@decoratedwarvet Except the logo on the lens is only for demos in the store, so people can see, when looking at the display, that the frames are Ray-Ban. That’s what these are, demos.
Ray-Ban sunglasses do not have logos on the lenses. Prescription glasses made by Lenscrafters (owned by the same company) in Ray-Ban frames do not have logos on the lenses.
Nobody wears Ray-Ban sunglasses that have a logo on the lens unless they buy demo units (like these) and think they look cool.
@craigthom-Please, the next time you go to Dillards, Khols’, or Macy’s, even Targets simply look at all those Ray Bans & The LOGO On The Left Lens. It is their trademark, man. Look to save a trip just check out ebay & let me know what you see. I sicerely hope you aren’t blind. Forget about saving face because these items have nothing to do with you, your abiliy, or rather, your inability to admit when you Are wrong & You ARE WRONG, So, Please give your Petty Error a rest. What you said is 99.9% INCORRECT! Please, ask anyone Except yourself! Please!!
@craigthom@decoratedwarvet The Ray Ban website does show the logo on the lenses but it’s a subtle little one in the upper corner not a big ass one in your field of vision. I can’t imagine these lenses were meant to be worn this way.
@craigthom@sammydog01-NO ONE ever mentioned one thing about Any Field Of Vision. I see you have a tendency to assume just enough to make others wrong when you Think you’re right. I hate to break this, but that is a characteristic of Self-Righteousness, so, Please, be careful of trying to prove someone wrong. If this bothers you, I’m Sorry, but you started this by trying to prove I was wrong, or my statements were, in your word ‘INVALIDE’! So much for Factual Invalidity!!
@sammydog01- okay, I can understand, though if you can take a moment to just review what you said & you’ll see that though you admitted you did see the Logo in all its glory, you still can’t believe, or imagine certain things. I agree it’s somewhat awkward to wesr a logo that’s literally in your face, even excessive, but that irony is put to rest by reason that their are now other sunglasses that do the same thing. I know you’re not an dam attorney, but you should know that your way of presenting an admission does Not point out that I wss right. If you read closely you’ll notice that what you respectfully proposed slyly avoided pointing any such matter that had anything to do with me. That said, in your last reply, since you did point out that you were pointing out, I’ll take that…Okay, just to let you know I was Not offended, I will let you wear that ‘Invalid’ badge, on your chest, so see you actually did save your face snce you need’n’t wear it on your forehead. This is my way of pointing out that you’re right, I Was right!! Now, just so you know, I realize that had you known you were messing with a Son of Bitch, you might have thought twice about stepping in this mud-hole! That’s a Son of a Bitch’s playground!! In fact, this leads me to another point & it started when I was three years old. I was really,…
@decoratedwarvet these are optometrist samples. They have a logo on the lens so when you are shopping, you know what brand you are buying. They are then meant to have prescription lenses to replace the clear lenses. They don’t replace the lens with another logo lens because it would be in your field of vision. Not great for corrective lenses.
… Had you offered a pair of wrap arounds then I would have jumped on it. Being a forklift operator working in a hot environment, regular frames don’t do it for me as most of my day has to do with keeping them from reacting with my sweat… !
@unkabob- And when you jumped on them they Would Break wouldn’t they?¿ LOL!! I know what you meant. I’m Just Kiiidding Dog!! Plus, is not most of your day spent on doing your job¿ I’m just saying! Cute, huh?
@dtwsportsfan-I got Framed once, but this were a bunch of guys that by standing around me, then walking off like I just Farted, left me holding the bag!! Now that’s an Awkward Frame Job, or rather, Fart Joke!! Yea,… Try it on a friend where a few girls are around & close by!! Hilarious!¡¡
Say what you want but I think it’s sort of cool meh made it over that shark. Not much more to see at this rate though. Might watch a few more episodes.

The lawyer should be poring over instead of pouring over unless perhaps there is fancy coffee involved.
Same shit, different Wednesday.
@SteveOOO be careful, everyone is jumping on me after criticizing MEH for the crappy items, repeat items and deals that are questionable…
I’m the guy with big feet. I have a big head too. Are these wide so I don’t resemble Bunsen Honeydew?
@Everbody Resembling Bunsen Honeydew would be a feature, not a bug. Particularly if Beaker would eventually show up and follow you around.
@Everbody they actually are quite wide. I bought one of each last time and the ones with the metal arms are video than I’d like.
Those of you who buy these: what do you do with them? Can you take them to Lenscrafters and talk them into putting prescription lenses into them? Can you glue them to your wall and make a creepy but interesting collage?? Can you put them in your fridge to keep them fresher longer…?
@shahnm I send them into Eyeglasses . Com and have them put in prescription sunglasses lenses.
I have also gone to Costco and have them put in lenses. They charge an extra $10 though if you bring in your own frames.
@shahnm If you do get Lenscrafters to slide in some real lenses you would lose the Ray Ban icon on the left lens ergo, they would look like an average pair of, or generic glasses!! No Thank You, No Thank You Very Much!!
@decoratedwarvet @shahnm There’s no Ray Ban logo on the temple? There should be.
Lenscrafters and Ray Ban are owned by the same Italian company. However, since they won’t put new lenses in the frames they sold last year, i doubt they would put lenses in these.
@decoratedwarvet I just checked the photos, and they all have “Ray-Ban” on the temple, so your argument is invalid.
@shahnm Had regular and glass lenses added to pairs I bought here before at Walmart. Added $10 I think for the privilege. wearing now.
@decoratedwarvet @shahnm Do people really look at your glasses lens for logos?
@decoratedwarvet @shahnm I think the lense looks tacky.
@decoratedwarvet Exactly… because we choose and buy our glasses for a little logo. Am I right? Certainly not for their quality.
@Hanky @shahnm- I heard that! @decoratedwarvet I was actually pointing out that you were right but you were too busy being offended to notice.
@decoratedwarvet @sammydog01 And here I thought the Woot Green Team was pretentious.
@sammydog01 @therealjrn
Don’t even bring them up.
@therealjrn Who you calling pretentious? Oh, me. Sometimes I’m a dick too.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What did Ray to get banned?
It’s a weak pun, I know. It’s the best I can do right now.
@jst1ofknd We don’t speak of that around here anymore.
@jst1ofknd No idea who would have banned him. I thought everybody loved Raymond.
@jst1ofknd @shahnm-nor any less!!

Sun Ray Longon say, “Me No Like!”
Just got Framed
@dtwsportsfan-I got Framed once, but this were a bunch of guys that by standing around me, then walking off like I just Farted, left me holding the bag!! Now that’s an Awkward Frame Job, or rather, Fart Joke!! Yea,… Try it on a friend where a few girls are around & close by!! Hilarious!¡¡
Meh is given us fake reviews and we give fake views. Meh want us to get a Ray (of sunshine) in that cloud of fakery.
It’s like Ray-aaay-ayyy
On your wedding day…
@stinks- Wh, wha, wha, what??¿¿¿
@decoratedwarvet You’ve never heard of Wuthering Heights? Shakespeare?
Because if most of us have, I’m not sure “obscure” is what they were looking for.
Or I’ve missed a movie reference you made. In that case, my apologies.
(Or you didn’t read the entire item description. Which would be unforgivable, but understandable.)
