The only place I've ever seen them is the Henry Ford Stroke Center in West Bloomfield, MI. We were visiting my wife's grandmother. We visited more often when we found out that the largely unmanned and not terribly secure condiment station in the cafeteria housed these lovelies.
Allergic to red chile so I have to pass on most of these. It's Arby's Horsey Sauce for me. I used to love Schlotzky's horseradish sauce but the last two times I have been to Schlotzky's they were spoiled and I had to eat my sandwich dry, fail. I also like Long John Silver's tartar sauce. This one looks awesome:
Nothing will ever beat the old McDonald's Hot Mustard sauce in my books (which is no longer available in my local restaurants for years and years now). Many restaurants have a Honey Mustard, but it's not even close to being the same deliciousness.
The only thing that came close for me was when I went to Quebec and had St. Hubert's Chicken and fries and they had their own hot mustard sauce containers which were very reminiscent in taste to the aforementioned McProduct.
@curtise I used to get mcnuggets with one hot mustard and one honey. Then they would only give out one sauce per order. Then I stopped going to mcdonalds. I think that was over twenty years ago.
@SSteve In McDonalds Canada restaurants, they kept playing games with what did and didn't cost extra... One year, you had to pay 10¢ per sauce beyond the first (or if, say, you wanted it for your fries), other times it was free and unlimited. I even vaguely recall a time where they wanted to charge for extra pickles and things. It sounds like your McDonalds restaurant was playing a similar game. I'm also pretty well over the whole McDonalds thing, though on very rare occasions I will grab a Bacon & Egg McMuffin for a quick breakfast (maybe once a year or two).
@jsh139 Great catch! That is both hilarious and awesome! Maybe I'll break my several-year-long streak of no non-breakfast visits to McDonalds to see...
I love the Chick-Fil-A Honey Roasted BBQ. There was a time they'd be out in the open with the more mundane condiments like ketchup, so you could take several home with you. Chick-Fil-A must have realized this, because I haven't seen these in the wild for at least half a year. Now I have to request them. : /
@darksaber99999 Guilty. My wife and I would grab fistfuls of the sauce before leaving the restaurant. I could eat this stuff on Cheerios. A while back, they stopped putting it out on the condiment bar and you had to start asking for it. I found a recipe online to make my own and decided to give it a whirl. An hour later, I had something that smelled the same and tasted very similar, but just wasn't quite there. If they packaged this stuff and sold it in grocery stores, I'd buy it in large quantities. My only other option is to try to buy a case of the packets at the restaurant.
@capguncowboy I have had great success with homemade recipes for the regular Chick-fil-a sauce. I even forgot to add one ingredient - lemon juice - and it was still more than satisfactory. That was not a healthy week for me.
@darksaber99999 Ha, I ended up using the sauce I made as a grillin' sauce. I have to admit it was perfect for that. It was thick so it stayed put when you brushed it on and once it caramelized, it was quite tasty
@harrison Never had a whataburger. I don't think they are on the east coast? Alas, as is with the great In-And-Out, we are left without spicy ketchup and animal style sauce over here :(
I had to do some digging for this, since there doesn't seem to be a picture of it, enjoy this culturally insensitive commercial for McDonald's Szechuan sauce:
Not sure if these are in order:
@JonT I wish more places had Sriracha packets. I would use them on everything.

mmmmmm
@Ryaneil Why did I not know this existed!?

sweet & sour sauce
@xEBRONx Pics or it's not true.
They should make gravy condiment packages. Chicken gravy, brown gravy, milk gravy, etc.

@curtise I came here to post the exact same thing. I was heartbroken when they discontinued it :(
@jsh139 You and me both! :'(

@curtise Your post got me thinking about hot mustard again and I found this page on FB. Sounds like it's back in certain places?? https://www.facebook.com/pages/McDonalds-Hot-Mustard-Sauce/189340761115026
@jsh139 Great catch! That is both hilarious and awesome! Maybe I'll break my several-year-long streak of no non-breakfast visits to McDonalds to see...
@curtise I'm taking my kids to McDonald's tonight. If they have hot mustard I might hyperventilate.
@jsh139 I'm super excited for you! Please document your visit... I hope it is saucy!
@curtise They didn't have it :(
Most of these are just slightly different versions of corn syrup and tomato paste...
salt, sugar… hmm that's it.
In no particular order:
(the design of the package especially)
(the only right answer to what sauce you want at CFA)
I like the one from Taco Bell that says "At night the sporks pick on me."

Also this one that a coworker at my last job left on my desk:
Relevant:
Honey Packets
Asian Spicy Mustard
Burger King's Green Slime sauce
No ranking, but I feel like this packet explains at least half of all purchases at Taco Bell:
@jqubed You won't get much backup on your Taco Bell hate from us at the office, but Del Taco's hot sauce is way better than TB's.
@JonT I wouldn't say I hate Taco Bell, as I clearly eat there, I'm just not sure that what I get is always technically food.
@JonT Del Taco's everything is better than Taco Bell.
how is whataburger spicy ketchup not at the top of every single one of these lists
@harrison so much forget. very wow sauce.
@harrison Never had a whataburger. I don't think they are on the east coast? Alas, as is with the great In-And-Out, we are left without spicy ketchup and animal style sauce over here :(
@jsh139 I'm very sad for you. Spicy Ketchup is the $#!+.
@janetv I want some now :(
@jsh139 Come to Texas land. We sell the ketchup in our stores now.
@janetv Mmmmm, spicy ketchup.
@jsh139 @janetv we also have In-N-Out now so you get a 2-for-1 deal.
+ Louisiana Hot Sauce added to Raising Canes Sauce. It'll change your life.

@ChadP the best, hands down. If you have a Pollo Tropical near you and haven't been yet, do it today and get a lot of this.
