I don’t like super spicy stuff. Or even medium spicy stuff. But I like interesting stuff. This came up in some ad somewhere today so just wondered. I’ve seen cheesy Ramen before but I’ve never seen this particular combination
Used 3 packages (regular jalapeno mac-n-cheese with the powdered package, deluxe with the creamy package, and the ramen with the dried mushroom packet). Was pretty good.
Boiled 4 cups of water, threw in the pasta and noodles, mixed and cut the heat; put the lid on. Went and looked for vegetables (in this case, found a bag of brussels sprouts). Drained the pasta, while the pot was hot, started on the dry cheese mixture (2 oz of milk, powder, 1/4 stick of butter, the ramen flavor packet), re-added the pasta, the deluxe pouch of cheese, another 2 oz of milk and 1/4 stick of butter (and two slices of pepperjack cheese), while the pot was on low heat. Spooned everything out, added a half cup of water and boiled the sprouts in the same pan (which also helped wash off the cheese). Topped the mac & cheese with the brussels and baked for ten minutes to get a nice char on top.
Can’t tell there’s ramen inside, but mostly because it’s a glob of gooey cheese pasta.
That looks delicious
I would try that Ramen. Also needs a spicy version.
I concur, definitely worth a try.
I’d give it a shot. Meh buyers, go get 'em!
I went and mixed up these two for comparison:
