@medz True story: I took my first blacksmithing class this past weekend and one of the things we kept hearing was “you know you’re a blacksmith when you have to make a tool to make a tool”. Almost all of the hammers, tongs, grippers, etc in our forge were themselves forged by the blacksmiths who use our forge. (We don’t have a power hammer yet though, so it doesn’t go as quickly as that video).
Do you have any suggestions about all of those nails that face the wrong direction? I’m getting really sick of throwing out half of the box. How can I make use of those wrong-way nails, mediocrebot?
On a different note, should I consider a side-by-side for storing batteries on the side versus a top-freezer for storing batteries upright or a bottom-freezer for storing batteries pointing downwards?
And how come no one has blamed @ACraigL for any of this confusion?!
@ACraigL will be in a world of financial hurt from the class action lawsuit I will be leading against him. His faulty and irresponsibly inadequate fidget-spinner appliance device lacks proper battery storage capabilities, and for that he will pay. Oh yes, he will pay…
As for your batteries, @narfcake, if you took proper care of them, you wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place. At this point, you’re just going to have to get whatever number of refrigerators are necessary to try to salvage what’s left of your battery mess.
@narfcake Ah. Thank you for the clarification and the amusing read. All in all though, I rather think I liked the mystery of why you would have said such a random thing…
What a great solution… I would have just grabbed another
@rmeden But not everyone has a refrigerator full of spare spoons.
@narfcake @rmeden Well of course not - the refrigerator is where you store the batteries. You’d need a second refrigerator for spoon storage.
Now I just need a DIY video for makin’ a ball peen hammer.
/youtube make a ball peen hammer
looks like i’m all set now…
@browncj7 Happy to help. You’ll be eating cereal in no time!
@browncj7 @medz
Might I suggest a nice heaping bowl of Branimaniacs?

What about faulty knives?
@ELUNO I believe Shakespeare referred to them as “false knaves.”
Fake news
This bit, quality work. Seriously professional comedy at work here.
Now, question: I’ve noticed my salad sporks have the same issue, but the correction above can dull or remove the teeth. What can I do?!

@shahnm The nails are fine. You will need a hammer that’s reversed, however.
It’s akin to needing two banana slicers – one for left curves and one for right curves.
@narfcake @shahnm
@narfcake That’s fine in theory, but half of my hammers are upside down. Oh dear, this is getting complicated, indeed.
@shahnm Indeed it is!

For shame.
@narfcake Also, I feel compelled to comment about “It’s akin to needing two banana slicers – one for left curves and one for right curves.”
That is, hands down, the weirdest analogy I’ve seen in quite a long time.
