Another vote for Mediocrebot. He’s awesome, as well as being an asshole. And he’s buds with Captcha, so we’ll be protected from dangerous robots. And ants.
I have a question. When did the tagline under the forum link start appearing? I don’t recall it being there, since it’s in the way of my Forum link clicking. Maybe I’m just being cynical.
It comes down to two factors: who’s the most capable, and who is the most likely to bother. Need to make an alignment chart. But I’ll probably just make a snap decision when the time comes.
@werehatrack With my luck, I’d panic and choose Irk, who’s probably both least capable and least inclined to help. But at least I think I can outrun Irk.
Off topic - what is this change on the top left of the website homepage that includes “& community for the cynical consumer”???!!! We are cynical? Just cynical? Nothing more than that? Just boring cynical?
Glen. He’s sneaky.
@Thumperchick
OH MY GOD THEY FUCKING MENTIONED GLEN AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN WHO THE FUCK KNOWS!!!
@shahnm @Thumperchick
Glen? Glen who?
My first thought: “I’m doomed!”
Second thought: Maybe Chicken on the Mike, since he seems capable of pecking someone’s eyes out.
Edit: that would be “Mic” - which kept trying to change to “mice” and then to “Mike”. The spelling bots won this round.
@rockblossom Awesmoe!!
Do Meh employees count?
@FreePasta huh I hadn’t considered that…I guess they could. Sure!
@FreePasta @Targaryen I guess they’re a bunch of characters…
Mediocrebot!
@narfcake As long as mediocrebot is programed correctly as a killer bot rather than an awesome bot. (grin).
Expanding it to former employees and Forum Notables, Thunderchicken! With a nick like that, there has to be a hidden superpower in play!
Or else CoolHandJoe; he’ll have something to make the danger flee in terror…
@werehatrack You know that “thunderchicken” often refers to a turkey?
https://www.ourstate.com/ramblin-man-return-of-the-thunder-chicken/
@Kyeh Turkeys are fearless, and will eat anything that doesn’t flee swiftly enough.
@werehatrack Okay.
@Kyeh @werehatrack I’ve always referred to this as the Thunderchicken.
@werehatrack
@blaineg Is that yours?
@Kyeh @werehatrack A friend had one of those in high school, this one is mine - the day I bought it.
@werehatrack
@blaineg Nice! Not as flashy but just as cool.
If my life is in danger because of impending starvation, then I choose the Breakfast Octopus.
Yum.
Forum notables? How about @RiotDemon, aka The Grim Reaper?
@Kyeh I was coming here to say that! I would totally want her on my side of any battle

WORKER BEES! HERCULES! TURKEY GREASE! AWESOME!

@heartny I noticed that too - I think it’s brand new today.
@heartny @Kyeh I don’t buy it - looks like a scam to me.

@walarney One must also pay attention to insuring that the chosen protector runs just slightly slower than you do…
@werehatrack With my luck, I’d panic and choose Irk, who’s probably both least capable and least inclined to help. But at least I think I can outrun Irk.
@targaryen Hey pal, I ask the questions around here.
(At least until December)
Captcha! Nothing will ever get through.
I installed CAPTCHA to save my fellow robots from wasting money on this crap.
I am why am I saving Meh people when MY life is in danger? Fuck meh I need to save myself
