question about a fun quirk of the "classic" woot forums
7So while cooking ribs tonight, my brother bring up this classic woot Shirt:
and laments never buying it…
I bring up the language filters built into the old forums that resulted in sentences like Xmas is Ribs.
I used to have a listing of most of the words/replacement words, but at the moment all i can remember is that Cool, became Ribs.
anyone else remember this, or ideally, have a list of them??

I think I got that shirt in a random pack
My favorite was when we went to a 1080px wide design while tiny netbooks were declining in usage but still fairly popular. Lots of comments about “this redesign is too wide” until we replaced “wide” with “epic”.

The stupid stuff I remember is never part of trivia contests.
I think my favorite was when refurbished was replaced with respiffied.
The Animaniacs word filter was the best. I remember fuck was Mwah! Goodnight everybody! and bitch was Katie Kaboom; I have to lookup what was used for other words, though.

After a certain incident or two with @lichme there were some fun variations on his username when typed into a forum post. Putting them all together resulted in something like “Glittery Lord of the Zipties”. Good times.
