@hchavers@PooltoyWolf Since the holes in the filter media are probably far larger than the virus, this is probably a virus projector. (Unless the UV light is somehow powerful enough to instantly sizzle the little virus particles. Not sure if I’d want to test that out with a potentially lethal pathogen.)
As an experiment during the remodel, I actually left the filter off for a day. Unlike the days where I had it on, a noticable amount of dust actually did accumulate. These things really do work.
I actually could use one more right now, so let’s see if this works…
It’s back !!!
Bought this May 4th 2018, this is pretty awesome for cleaning the air of dust and smells.
I can see on the filters how much dust/airborne it collects. I leave this in my 14yo son’s room for 15 minutes and it stops smelling like teen spirit. The food frying (we’re Asian) smell is gone in 10-20 minutes on high. Wife and I have it on low at night and get some good sleep. I say buy it !
How many of these needed for the House impeachment inquiry, and now the Senate trial, to clear the air of all the partisan pollution? Talk about filtering needed…

@Stormchaser I DON’T own one (yet), but per Amazon Q&A the filters typically last 6 months, and their “frequently bought together” section shows filter two-packs at $19-$25, depending on brand.
Aaahhhh why is it the end of the month and I’m broke? I have one of these and LOVE IT. would totally buy another. Gah. Filters are a bit pricey but it works well and meh is the only place they are ever on sale.
I bought this last time it was here and love it. I live in a row house and my neighbor burned down his house with his grow lights (he was an urban farmer). I have used this in my bedroom and it has made a huge difference in dust and odor. Have an urban farmer next door? Buy this.
I bought one the last time. It has served me well. If you do the email/review thing, they send you a free filter. The filter is easy to clean up with say a vacuum cleaner hose. One filter lasted me almost about 10 months.
Want! Like, really want. Who am I kidding; I have 6 cats and a stinky husband. I NEED another air cleaner! However, we are in the process of moving into a new home. It might be a week or week and a half before movers come for the big furniture. Anyone have an opinion as to the shipping time? I’m in SW OK and unsure which address I should give. Anyone have a guesstimate on this?
@MontyAnn Thanks! I don’t think mine go through Shreveport. They either go to Wichita Falls and then up to me… OR… packages go all the way to OKC and then back down to me. The estimated delivery does help tho, so I’ll go with that. Thank you!
@FirstLast87@therealjrn Mama Mia! That’s more than all the normal led lights at my place. Someone needs to address the power consumption of these little devils. Ironically they may be cleaning up the stuff that was produced generating the power to run them.
@Dog19026@FirstLast87@therealjrn Considering the fan powers air through the filter, add a UV light which is probably not an LED, 60 watts is not a lot.
Even 8 hours would use about half a kw for probably 8 cents. If you reduce the fan speed, you may cut consumption a little.
I received my air purifier and am pleased by the quiet nature of it and the clean, simple mechanics. Hoping it will greatly help with my daughter’s allergies. Between the dog hair and the carpet, I imagine it will be greatly utilized:)
@tracyabeles I moved from a place with wall-to-wall carpeting to one with hardwood floors & tiles with only the bedrooms carpeted. I was pleasantly surprised how my allergies tamed down. I probably didn’t vacuum enough anyway at the old place.
I have only had the unit for about a week but it seems to be performing well thus far. It has a nice sleek design and is small in size, so it fits well on a desktop or dresser. The unit is not too load and the LED lights are not overly bright. I have two labradors so I am hopefully this unit helps to keep down the dust and dander which I think will help with her allergies.
Great investment! This winter I have been waking up in the morning sneezing, then a very runny nose. It’s been a week since I started using my “PureZone 3-in-1 True HEPA Air Purifier with UV-C Light ” each day my symptoms decreased. I have yet to sneeze today. I also started usually better furnace filter and a hepa vacuum which I’m sure helped.
Glad I got this filter–PureZone 3-in-1 True HEPA Air Purifier–particularly (no pun) with virus a concern.
I’ve been happy with other Pure products, the ultrasonic
humidifier, that Meh has offered. Its quiet, small and the controls permit a lot of choices in running it. Timer is a useful feature.
I would certainly recommend it–even if they didn’t offer a free replacement filter for a review. But that is pretty nice too.
I am very glad that I purchased the PureZone 3-in-1 True HEPA Air Purifier. It is quiet at night to use in my bedroom, and, when I want, small enough to carry & use in the living room during the day.
I’ve had the purifier for about 3 months. It really seems to be helping with my allergies. I’m glad that there is a low setting that it perfect for uninterrupted sleep.
The cleanest air ever. Since purchasing my air purifiers the air has been so much better for me and my son to breathe. Especially with him having allergies. We are very thankful for the pure zone 3 in 1 true HEPA air purifiers. Best investment ever!!!

Does the UV-C support fast-charging™?
Damn it, I skip checking one night, and that is when there is something awesome. I check, and I get crap like this.
@alose That just proves the observer effect that observation changes the qualities of that being observed. You’re a physicist now. Congratulations.
@alose You talking about those headphones? They went fast.
@alose Same Here
i’d been thinking of getting an air filter for a while…

Does this protect against the Coronavirus?
@hchavers The last image would have us believe so!
@PooltoyWolf Exactly. Meh wouldn’t joke about a Pandemic, would they?
@hchavers @PooltoyWolf Since the holes in the filter media are probably far larger than the virus, this is probably a virus projector. (Unless the UV light is somehow powerful enough to instantly sizzle the little virus particles. Not sure if I’d want to test that out with a potentially lethal pathogen.)
@PooltoyWolf - That’s probably the factory in China where they’re made.
Oh, cool! I got mentioned in the write-up!

So those of you that have and love these, how frequently are you changing filters? How hard are they to find? Are they pricey?
@Stormchaser I DON’T own one (yet), but per Amazon Q&A the filters typically last 6 months, and their “frequently bought together” section shows filter two-packs at $19-$25, depending on brand.
@Stormchaser We bought two the last time they were offered. Used these filters from amazon with good results.

Filters are like $19 each and need to be replaced every 6 months according to the manufacturer. Still a good deal.

Im in for another to have in the bathroom.
@donutpower a vacuum cleaner hose.
@donutpower How noisy is it?
@ParadisePete On low youll hear nothing. On medium its a moderate fan sound but not distracting. On high it sounds like the wind is blowing.
@donutpower thanks
That last picture…

Does anyone know if the hepa filter grade is H13 (that’s the best grade hepa filter)?

What’s the electricity costs compared to a coway? And filter costs?
@FirstLast87 You do not provide any data on your proposed comparison Coway. So who knows?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The unit offered here appears to demand a healthy 60W. Filter prices are discussed elsewhere in the forum discussion.
