@LeviOhPlz@Targaryen no. DD is incapable of making good cider donuts. I’d argue that they’re incapable of making good donuts and coffee in general, but that’s another debate.
@Targaryen@Thumperchick Yea, good cider donuts will not be fond in a box…unless said box came directly from a place of good cider donuts. Which could definitely be arranged.
@LeviOhPlz@Thumperchick I know I used to get good ones from orchard in the next town over in my hometown. Never had to get them anywhere else so never tried them elsewhere. Good to know.
I bought apple cider the other day. For some reason I thought it was just going to be fresh pressed apple juice. I was surprised at the amount of spice in it. Too much.
I don’t drink pumpkin spice stuff normally. Had a pumpkin donut the other day. That was yummy.
Cider… no can do on the pumpkin spice. Plus Apple Cider brings back memories of Bell’s Apple Orchard in Illinois, where we would go and pick apples every Fall, and yes, @thumperchick get Apple Cider Donuts!!
Pumpkin is a flavor. Pumpkin spice is different flavor, a mix of cinnamon, clove, & ginger. They really have nothing to do with one and another(other than making a pumpkin pie).
I think the marraige of these two foes would be apple cider donuts with pumpkin spiced sugar glaze.
@lseeber Trust me, they are. Linvilla is an awesome place. Farm market, garden center, hayrides, pick your own fruits, etc… People travel from all around Philly to visit. https://www.linvilla.com/
@cinoclav Oh, I’ll bet! I grew up in New England and lived right across the street to the back of a big orchard. Soooo good! Here in Alabama… the few things that pass for an apple orchard… not the same. No homestyle bakeries that I’ve found yet either. All chains. My daughter lives in MN so in the fall I visit and one of the first places we go is one of the large orchards and particularly those with a bakery (actually just like the one you’re mentioning), hay rides, mazes, etc. I love love love it.
Apple cider. For drinking. I love pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, etc… but I do not like drinking pumpkin spice anything. And, I avoid Starbucks like the plague that it is but, their caramel apple spice drink is… da bomb! There’s no gentle sipping with that one around here.
Pumpkin spice
Apple Cider. All day. Every Day.
Case in point:

Porque no los dos I’ll drink apple cider straight out of a pumpkin I don’t give a damn
@Moose Oh, we should make a video of that.
@Moose @targaryen make it a pumpkin keg.
@LeviOhPlz @Moose A pump-keg?
Apple cider is the only right answer.
@LeviOhPlz Oh man I haven’t seen cider donuts around here.
@Targaryen - ask if @LeviOhPlz or I can grab some next time one of us is coming down to HQ.
@LeviOhPlz @Thumperchick I wonder if the Dunkin’s down here carries them. Ill have to check.
Also, that’d be great!

@LeviOhPlz Oh… those look especially good!
Neither.
@jst1ofknd Maple?
@jst1ofknd Peppermint?
@jst1ofknd @Thumperchick Thanksgiving?
@jst1ofknd @Thumperchick Peppermint- Good choice!
@sammydog01 @Thumperchick
Mint is good… That’ll work.

Apple cider! I freeze it so I can drink it all year.
Cider… no can do on the pumpkin spice. Plus Apple Cider brings back memories of Bell’s Apple Orchard in Illinois, where we would go and pick apples every Fall, and yes, @thumperchick get Apple Cider Donuts!!
Pumpkin Spice tastes similar to the way that potpourri smells. That’s not a good thing
Apple cider wins this battle. I’m not pretentious enough to go for pumpkin spice (except maybe hand soap, but that’s just a nose flavor).
But the real question is can we fast forward to hot chocolate season?
@djslack you better believe I already have a question for that time of the year.
Hate Pumpkin Spice!
Too soon.
Already had pumpkin spice last year.
My manager brought in pumpkin spice lattes, I’m not going to pass if it’s free. I do love apple cider donuts though.
APPLE CIDER +

Cider baby. Keep that pumpkin in a pie where it belongs.
Apple cider.
Cider and cider donuts from my local Linvilla Orchards.
@cinoclav Thos look good!

I love pumpkin everything, but pumpkin spice flavor minus the pumpkin appears everywhere and is terribly misleading.
