@DLPanther Particularly when the unitasker seems designed to assume that all of the varied potential contents require the same amount of heating. If so, the degree of success achievable would seem to depend largely on the skill of the user.
@edsa There are three “customer” review vids on Amazon. I found them educational enough to convince me I really didn’t need one of these. Calling this a “Bento” is really a bit of a stretch since it seems very limited in what it can prepare, which is at odds with the range of contents that the literature seems to suggest are commonly included in a Bento box. As a ramen cooker with an option to steam a couple of eggs, it looks like it would work. For anything beyond that, a great deal would depend upon the skill of the user.

Why am I not surprised that meh is dealing the same thing at the same price as over on sidedeal, without a vmp discount here?
@zxinfinity Here you get the “Meh tax” and the privilege of being a meh shopper.
@phendrick @zxinfinity you should have bought one during the mehrathon
@pakopako @phendrick @zxinfinity But as a loyal Meh shopper, you save even more by just not buying it at all!
Yay! Now we get to start seeing all of the stuff we didn’t order on Friday.
@gwrankin It was only there on Friday because you didn’t buy it previously. Now crack open that wallet and get to buying!!
So useful. A future Irk item.
And I thought microwaving popcorn at work was a sure bet to stink up the office… This takes that to a whole new level!
@Steficake Bring it in loaded with herring, surstromming, and natto for best results.

I need a video.
@edsa I went looking for one, and it turns out that electric cookers in this general range are really common in Asia, but none looked close to this.
