According to my profile page, I have clicked the meh button 925 times, and I joined the meh community 996 days ago. That makes my click-join ratio 0.9287 click-days. What’s yours?
/giphy click ratio graph
Joining before launch day is another factor. Off the top of my head, I didn’t click the first week or so and then missed a few days while on vacation about 1054 days ago.
@dave Probably not a record. I only joined 1746 days ago and have 2008 clicks. That’s 115% and I know I missed a couple so there’s probably someone with a perfect click score.
I am not up to the task of figuring out the total number of clicks possible right now. Navigating on a phone gets annoying quick for that kind of work.
44 clicks/2033 days = 2.16%
I am clearly an underachiever. People over 100% are probably overachievers. What percentage range would be considered “meh”?
Ok so this exercise brought it to my attention that I liked one of my own comments. I have spent the last 45 minutes reviewing old posts to find it…is there an easier way?
@tinamarie1974 if it’s within 30 days, it’s easy. Click on the sort button and make sure to have the option for likes given checked, and uncheck everything else. When you are scrolling, look for the recycle logo. That’s when you liked your own comment.
I seem to recall @JonT and a couple other Mehitizens making a - what sounded solid at the time (but now long forgotten) - argument for starring your own comment.
So I blame @JonT for that embarrassing stretch. If it has happened since, it was accidental, attempting to tap-hold to show the “starrers” on a comment, whilst I was on a mobile device.
1909/1727=1.1054 - hum perhaps I need a 12 step program. . On the other hand my number of clicks in a row is less than 3 weeks so that ought to redeem me somewhat.
I knew mine would be pretty lame, since I somehow managed to join before I ever heard about Meh. I mean, what the heck was I doing around here if I wasn’t clicking the meh button, and why would I have joined in the first place if not to participate in that meaningless august sporting event?
When did I click my first meh button? When did I first vote in a poll? If Google is to be believed, the first sign of my presence in the forums was 8/28/2016.
If you start counting from my first order on 10/14/2015, it would be 0.970102282. Probably too generous, but that’s the earliest event I can verify.
Does Meh send a welcome/verification email when you sign up? I ran a search overnight, but the oldest email I’ve got is from that order.
Basically, I blame the whole damn mess on the goat.
Hmmm, more email archeology reveals a Mediocre newsletter from 11/10/2014. Jesus. That pushes my Period of Known Mediocrity to 1,609 days.
Still doesn’t explain what the hell I was (not) doing with my time in the early days. Or how I managed to sign up the day that meh.com went live and don’t remember anything about it?
@gregormehndel There are probably a few folks with zero clicks for a score of 0.00000…, but it doesn’t count unless they post here. Looks like you may be the Grand Champion Underachiever of Meh Button Clicks, which wins you a round of anemic applause an award!
@rockblossom Wow, there are so many people I would like to thank for this award, namely, all of the people who clicked more than once.
In conclusion, this makes me happier than it probably would anyone with a real life!

@sammydog01 @therealjrn my number is higher… So she wins by not clicking as much.

@djslack
Neat! Which products received button clicks?
@eonfifty I don’t know how to find that out for sure.
One was right around when I started coming to the site, probably not the first day though.
One was I think a crappy knife.
One may have been one of the pearl deals.
And I think one was the first time the meh button did something like spin around, that everyone was talking about in the forum.
First I reserved it for the feeling of “I really don’t like this”, but then I just decided that not clicking the meh button was going to be my thing.
@djslack or voting for goats you nominated?
