Political Bullshit 2026
8It’s another year for us to debate this nonsense.
Don’t forget the do’s and don’ts:
Wanna share your thoughts on the current political climate? Candidates? Flag pins?
Do that here. We won’t be allowing political discourse in the product threads or other weird places.
You still gotta follow the rules and be respectful to each other. (No name-calling, in particular.)

Can we do a grammar debate topic? The “do’s and dont’s” are fun.
@zhicks1987 There’s just no correct answer.
@zhicks1987

Thanks TC!
@chienfou There’s no right place for this, so I’ll address it to you, Yoda poster. I tried to show my family my Star Wars knowledge, so I asked my gemini to give me some Star Wars trivia. That asshole gave me nothing but comics I’d never read.
@zhicks1987 don’t’s’
@Thumperchick dont’s’ve
@Thumperchick @zhicks1987
Yep, it’s a confusing mess!
I particularly like the third one listed as “rare”!
/youtube “oh no mr bill”
@f00l oh noooo
So, whether you voted for a sleepy old man, OR you voted for a sleepy old man. Reminder that you don’t have to vote for either party. Anyway. Here we are.
@zhicks1987 There is a difference in that Trump is dangerous and mentally unhinged and totally obsessed with his own wealth, his accomplishments and plastering his name on anything he can.
For those of you who now can’t afford health insurance, getting sicker for lack of vaccines and can’t afford food, it has to be obvious that Trump cares little about you and only about himself.
@Felton10 @zhicks1987 Apparently he really cares about Venezuela, too.
Anyone know why “Da Prez” wants to defend Iranian protesters?? I guess he’s trying to acquire as many faux “Peace” prizes as he can to stoke his ego.
https://www.nytimes.com/2026/01/02/world/middleeast/trump-iran-protests.html
@MrGoodGuy
@MrGoodGuy Nobody’s allowed to kill protesters except him?
Reprint from a letter someone wrote to the Washington Post-too good not to share:
“We’re talking about a highly corrupt leader, a known criminal who has used his high office to make billions for himself, and has manipulated elections to stay in power, has used his military against his own citizens, has protected his corrupt friends and punished his political enemies.
and yes, the President of Venezuela did a lot of those too…”
@Felton10 I think Colbert may have used that lol
/giphy explosion

Venezuela
/giphy “runs away”

@f00l
“Jan 3 (Reuters) - Venezuelan migrants around the world erupted in celebration on Saturday following the U.S.-led deposition of President Nicolas Maduro, whose government oversaw one of the world’s largest migration exoduses in recent history.
Chants celebrating Maduro’s capture were heard on the streets of capital cities in Latin America and in Spain, where Venezuelans gathered to share their joy - and wonder what the future could hold.”
https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/venezuela-diaspora-celebrates-maduros-deposition-wonders-whats-next-2026-01-03/
@f00l @therealjrn And next week, he’ll be back to deporting them.
@f00l @werehatrack That’s funny right there I don’t care who you are
@therealjrn @werehatrack
Historically, the US is better at fast strikes against regimes than at building democracies.
Building democracies only works (it seems to me) when the historical patterns of social structure and civilization are primed for it, there is a large existing educated population, an established middle-class, a history of small, medium, and large business culture, a history relatively free of rampant day-to-day corruption, and a bunch of other factors I don’t know about or can’t remember.
@f00l @werehatrack I have to agree. But then again, it’s always easier to tear stuff down than rebuild it.
@f00l @therealjrn @werehatrack Hispanics thought Trump was their friend and savior until he started hunting down their friends and relatives like animals and deporting them. Same with African Americans until Trump got rid of DEI programs and tried to wipe the history of slavery and their awful treatment from history books.
@f00l I’m stealing that.
Who had Marco Rubio as Viceroy of Venezuela on their bingo card?
@OldCatLady Can we get him to fly down and take personal command right away, please please please can we?
@OldCatLady Having followed his performance (or lack thereof) for many years in Florida, he was the perfect pick for Trump’s cabinet. Minimal to no skills at anything, heavy duty knee pads, will do or say anything to get ahead to not offend his boss and has small hands and a brain to match.
Oy! Today is Jan 6. Why does that date sound familiar? Anyone recall?
@phendrick oh, now I remember.
Epiphany, aka National Take Down the Christmas Tree Day.
@phendrick Just two weeks left to go until the anniversary of last year’s nation-saving inauguration day?
@phendrick It’s the day the crazies listened to their increasingly insane and deranged leader and tried to take the election process into their own hands. The blackest day in American History will be remembered as such no matter how much Trump puts his name on things (I named my #2 that I flush down the toilet after him so he can be with his own kind) or how much gold he puts in the White House to make it look like a Whore House (a place he is intimately familiar with) since Malaria wants nothing to do with him (who would).
@Felton10 @phendrick
But you notice she hasn’t divorced him…
@Kidsandliz @phendrick Of course not-I’m sure he used money to keep her from divorcing him. She only married him for his money and the more money he throws at her to keep her in tow, the more events she will attend. She knows the truth about the orange perv better than anyone and the less she has to do with him the better.
After he leaves the Presidency, she will divorce him as fast as possible and take her money and her anchor father and go back to that shit hole country from which came. Her footnote in history will be the worst FLOTUS ever along side the worst President ever.
And Trump, he will be free to marry Karoline Levitt so he can enjoy those lips of hers more frequently that he has mentioned so many times.
@Felton10 @Kidsandliz @phendrick well. We don’t need to resort to the toilet/plague naming.
But Melania is an immigrant. She didn’t like the white house/definitely does not care that he tore down “her” wing.
She has a scam crypto coin.
Probably renegotiated the prenup since he actually has some money now. Which he never had before.
Got a movie no one will watch.
Doesn’t have to live with him. Only ccasionally has to slap his hand away… Which I guess could explain some things.
Honestly she’s got a pretty sweet deal at the moment. Why would she divorce him until he’s in prison?
@Felton10 @Kidsandliz @phendrick @unksol in that line of thought, she could remain married while he’s in prison. No need to share names with anyone else, and the benefits contribute.
@Felton10 @Kidsandliz @pakopako @phendrick i mean I guess. Hed definitely die in there. And she doesn’t seem to care about love. But it’s not like she would get anything out of it. Hed just get try and name shit and build monuments with his corrupt fortune. I think she’d be better off to take her cut before he wastes it.
Not financial advice
@shahnm
Needs more “nose holding”
I don’t know when this rule was added
You still gotta follow the rules and be respectful to each other. (No name-calling, in particular.)
But it was desperately needed.
Now if only the president could follow those treaties instead of destroying all of human progression during his lifetime. Guess that’s too much to ask?
It difficult to determine which of Trump’s unqualified and incompetent cabinet appointee is the worst. It varies from day to day. One day it’s “worm in brain” RFK Jr. and his crusade to made us all sicker and more susceptible to illnesses by cutting research grants and vaccine requirements.
Then it’s that “drunk adulterer” Pete Hegseth for going after Mark Kelly for stating the truth about not obeying illegal orders when his disclosure about an upcoming classified operation on an unsecured line with a reporter listening should have gotten him fired.
Today it was “dog killer” Kristy Noem whose masked Gestapo thugs killed a women for no reason yet labelled her a domestic terrorist without so much of an investigation.
Renee Nicole Macklin Good. She was 37, from Colorado, and just visiting Minneapolis.
For decades, “conservative” voices have loudly exclaimed that the government would be coming for the citizens, with the openly stated belief that it would be the liberals who drove it.
Well, it’s here. And look who’s doing it.
@werehatrack
We used to be able to have discussions in this country. But ICE is just another name for the KKK at this point. Federally funded. With an insane budget. His own SS squad
Stop pretending. Trump and Miller are saying it out loud. Slightly less murdery. For now.
@unksol If someone would have told me last year that armed masked groups of federal officers would be roaming this country gathering up immigrants most of which whose only crime was to come to this country to seek a better life for them and their family, I would said they are crazy.
Now I am not talking about those who have committed crimes and deserve to go. I am talking about hard working people who are providing for their family and are doing jobs that most American don’t want to do. Those are most of the people that are being rounded up and deported. No legal due process no nothing-they just disappear. Trump wants a American that is WASP and anyone not like him has to go.
Be careful or wary, they may be coming for you or me next.
@shahnm IDK where that term came from… Except from English. I have not heard it before this. But she was a US citizen. Observing a supposed “police” action .
This is no different than legally recording police. Which literally all of us are allowed to do. Everyone in the country is a “legal observer”.
She didn’t try to kill anyone. They threatened her. She tried to leave. An untrained ICE agent murdered her. That’s it.
You have got to get out of your bubble
Admittedly with this administration he could have been trained to shoot first. ICE should not be armed with the people they are hiring. But when police do this they would be retrained and investigated
@shahnm @unksol “untrained ICE agent”
He might be. How do you know that he was untrained?
@unksol
https://www.lawofficer.com/why-the-minneapolis-ice-shooting-became-national-news-and-why-it-shouldnt-have/
“Choosing to threaten armed law enforcement officers, weaponizing your vehicle and attempting to harm or kill, significantly ratchets up the statistical probability of being shot and killed in an officer involved shooting. It’s not rocket science. As one of my friends quotes John Wayne: “If you’re going to be dumb, you’ve gotta be tough.””…
“These are the facts: As her vehicle is approached by agents and is told to get out of the vehicle, she reverses the vehicle. An agent is in front of the protester Good’s vehicle as it is traveling backwards, when suddenly she engages forward drive. Her vehicle struck the agent, but there is video evidence that when the driver shifted into forward drive (the backup lights turned off) the agent who is now suddenly in harm’s way, was still holstered. The three shots were fired 0.5 to 0.75 seconds later striking the driver in the face according to on-site witness testimony and several angles of video.”…
It’s funny you should speak of getting out of a bubble. This comment of yours: “She didn’t try to kill anyone. They threatened her. She tried to leave. An untrained ICE agent murdered her. That’s it.”
That is peak leftist-narrative bubble.
@zhicks1987 I clarified. Better phrasing would have been inexperienced or poorly trained. Because we know that’s going to happen with the hiring tempo.
The reason I choose to use that is because this is classic of bad training in police forces. Where aggression is the point. This is well known.
Also ICE is not police they have no business engaging with the general public. They are not law enforcement. And they definitely can’t murder you for gently driving away.
Police should not either. Do you not know the justification for use of lethal force?
@unksol @zhicks1987
…when suddenly she engages forward drive. Her vehicle struck the agent, but there is video evidence that when the driver shifted into forward drive (the backup lights turned off) the agent who is now suddenly in harm’s way, was still holstered.
@shahnm while the source you are quoting is just a lie.
It does not matter. The situation was created by the actions ICE was doing and a single ICE agent made a bad decision. One guy. From the side. She just drove away
When this happens with police multiple officers will have fired. And the danger will be real. This was not that.
That officer would be suspended and investigated and training would be looked at. This is not controversial.
IDK how we got to such a fucked up place where I can say the golden rule and be nice to people. And other people are flat out cartmans
@shahnm you are quoting a lie. I get it if you just read the post ICE put out. This is literally no different than corrupt police departments trying to cover. Then there is video
@unksol Yes. Watch it.

@shahnm I said reputable source. Who the fuck uses Twitter for info
@unksol Don’t attack the messenger just because reality conflicts with the narrative you want to believe.
@shahnm @unksol You are being disingenuous
"Very important info about the ICE shooting:
The agent that shot Renee Good yesterday, as she drove toward him, had been dragged by a car over 300ft just 6 months ago by a man who had been charged with sex crimes against a child.
This is a photo of him in the hospital.
This happened one month after Tim Walz called ICE the modern day Gestapo. The agent had over 30 stitches, luckily escaping death.
So being hit or dragged by a car wasn’t some theoretical event he had the luxury of Monday morning quarterbacking. He had ONE SECOND to make a judgement call with a car accelerating at him: Shoot to save my life or potentially die being run over or caught and dragged by this car?
A very compelling argument can be made that Democrat politicians are to blame for both events here. In one, an illegal was radicalized to believe he could run from the “Gestapo” and likely believed the Walz Admin would protect him. In this one a woman radicalized by Dem politicians and media believed that she could impede law enforcement without consequence. She ended up dead as a result.
The position Democrats are putting our ICE agents in is just objectively dangerous and evil."
@shahnm this has literally no relelavance. Is probably a lie. You site no source. Can’t show his face. Pretty sure you or someone asked chatgpt to make up an excuse for what is on video.
Also why is it now PTSD INSTEAD of she was a threat. You are a joke
But if true. He should not have been deployed. In that role. He should have been in therapy and on desk duty to deal with PTSD. Again bad
@shahnm and ffs how is this political? A bad cop killed someone. Acknowledge the issue. Do an investigation.
The problem is no one wants to acknowledge ICE dirty laundry. The horrible things they are doing and the laws they are violating
@shahnm Even if that was true, then he must have been messed up in the head, but ICE is so desperate for people, they will take anyone want-to-be goober with his finger on the trigger ready to kill someone . Every situation stands on its own facts and he was a ticking time bomb ready to explode at the least little provocation and should never have been on duty or let anywhere near a gun. But he will get off because Drumpf and Noem Nothing already pronounced him innocent and her guilty without doing any investigation.
@unksol A good cop killed a bad person. She had no reason to be there, other than to cause trouble. She was looking to stir up trouble. She made a choice to drive her car into another human being. She FAed, and she FOed.
Look, you’d have more luck being convincing in your "golden rule"ism if you had loudly protested when Ashley Babbitt was gunned down by a remedial rent-a-cop thug with a history of poor conduct. Babbitt wasn’t armed with a gun or a car and she wasn’t in anyone’s face.
But you and your leftist-narrative-chugging selective pearl-clutchers seemed ok with that.
@unksol
I didn’t cite the source on purpose. I have the info I need, from sources that I’ve deemed to be reliable enough to quote. You can verify for yourself (not really a strength of the left, I know) or just stick with your programming.
No one is showing the agent’s face right now. It’ll eventually leak I guess, but that’s just the way the picture currently is posted.
@shahnm Was the ICE presence in that city and place necessary for any valid purpose identified by local law enforcement or by Congressionally-mandated policy? I haven’t seen a single confirmable statement that either of these apply. On the contrary, it is pretty obvious that it was performative terror theater by a madman. If ICE had competent leadership, the command for execution of the order would have been met with a request to get all of the legal ducks in a row, precisely identify the targets they wanted to acquire, and assign only the personnel who would accomplish the task with a minimum of collateral damage. The military does that on a regular basis. The military almost never does combat fishing expeditions; they gather intel and send boots only when they’re sure of what they want to do, and that does not appear to be the ICE modus operandi. I’d say that ICE and its leadership has a lot to learn, and no demonstrated willingness to do so.
As for the personnel aspect, based on what you’ve just posted, the shooter was obviously a poor choice for inclusion in a mission that could be expected to be confrontational regardless of why that was true, and now we have a dead civilian and what is rapidly approaching a complete loss of trust in Federal “enforcement”.
And by their own admitted numbers, ICE has been less effective in accomplishing deportation or expulsion of aliens lacking legal resident status under the current administration than in 2022 (the most recent year for which DHS has published a Yearbook), so it’s pretty clear that the current administration took a system that was working well under Biden (if not always humanely), and broke it and made it more abusive, a fact they are doubtless very proud of because breaking things is what they set out to do.
What they are breaking now is the nation.
@werehatrack The current administration made a vocal and platform point about removing criminal illegal aliens (that’s redundant, I know).
It was and continues to be the left who demonize the agents, dox and threaten them, obstruct them, and assault them. The left who was and is actively riled up and radicalized by a motley coterie of political and social leaders who would rather have this mess, and the violence and hatred that comes with it, than accept the current administration’s policies and leadership.
This isn’t resistance, like the leftist NPCs bleating the leftist lines “believe”. This is, by definition, insurrection.
@shahnm @werehatrack “Was the ICE presence in that city and place necessary…”
Doesn’t matter.
She ‘allegedly’ tried to attack a peace officer. They have rights, too.
@shahnm Your definition of insurrection seems wildly at variance with the legal one. So tell us, was what happened on January 6, 2021, an insurrection, or not? Because I haven’t seen anything approaching that level of malevolent violence from the left.
@shahnm @werehatrack I have told a police officer to his face that he can’t ID me.
@werehatrack You’ll enjoy this answer. I just know you’ll learn a lot and be better informed after you really think about and understand it. There’s a lot packed in here, but there is a LOT of info to digest in places other than the leftist bubbles you like. Go dig in!
@werehatrack
What’s below is a long list, I know. It’s easier if you just start with the ones corresponding to riots…
It is possible to choose to know what is true, rather than what you want to believe to be true:

@shahnm they aren’t showing his face because it’s made up. No “agent” was in ANY danger from this woman. It’s on video.
Let’s just divorce this from ICE for a minute. The fact it was them and they created the situation is it’s own problem.
Let’s say it’s just the police. There is a woman in her car who is just there. Or a person with a phone.
The police threaten them to stop recording. Which is completely legal to do. Violating their constitutional rights. But the police officer scares them so much they try to leave. Which is what the officer wants. And the officer kills them.
You are good with police executing people who record them?
Now let’s bring back in ICE. They are not police. They have no authority to order citizens to do anything.
Also how hard is it to acknowledge bad behavior and the fact that they are not trained for this? We know they aren’t. Never mind the other problems with them.
Any rational person should look as at this and go that’s bad… We need to fix whatever made to him murdering someone. And excuses like a car moved near me doesn’t do it. Why the fuck are they even in the mindset that someone recording them is a threat? No one is attacking ICE. if what they were doing was just no one would have a problem
@shahnm @werehatrack Your list is impressive but far less than the damage that Trump has done to the US which is too long to list and will take decades if not centuries to undo.
@shahnm @werehatrack this is beyond stupidity. You just are going to list crimes. Add antifa. And then somehow associate that to the left…
I can make up any list and slap whatever label on it.
And not that you care. But left is a stupid label.
I grew up in Church. This narrative and administration is not in anyway Christlike. It is quite literally against Christ.
@unksol Let’s also take a moment to recognize that none of this is happening in places that are not avowed “sanctuary” areas. The “leadership” of those areas have rabble-roused hostility and “resistance” against ICE and US government entities. They have initially tacitly, and now increasingly openly, called for and encouraged violence against those agents and entities.
This blood is on the hands of those politicians and “leaders” who want this, for whatever gains they seek as a result of the hell they have created. That doesn’t absolve the mindless minions who follow them with astroturf signs and slogans, rocks and molotov cocktails, or (in this case) a minivan. They too should be held accountable for their conduct.
It sucks that one such idiot minion had to die because she fell for the claptrap that Tim Walz and his diseased fellow travelers spouted. But she was an adult that put herself in a stupid situation, doing stupid things, and - whether it was her intention or not - assaulted an armed official who was not obligated to risk his life to help enable her delusions.
@shahnm we. Can absolutely agree on that. The blood is directly on the hands of Trump, Miller, and Noem. The people who created this.
The people who attacked a US citizen. Make whatever excuses you want. Communities exist and are being literally attacked. You are only ok with it because you think you won’t be attacked
@unksol Trump et al swore to uphold the laws and constitution of this country. We voted for that. That includes borders and lawful qualifications for residency or citizenship of this country.
Some illegal aliens broke our laws to reside here unlawfully. That is a problem for many of us. Unless you are presently sheltering as many homeless as wish to be there in your own home, you really don’t have standing to say that legal Americans have to harbor criminal aliens in our country.
One political side (left, democrats, antifa - whatever of their many names you want to select) decided that the fun and profitable stance would be to oppose the bad orange man by “resisting” his and his yucky voters’ policies.
That political side (let’s just call them the left, as a term to encompass the whole sordid bunch) is fomenting the violence and hatred. That political side is the side that is rioting, harassing, and assaulting those who abide by and/or enforce the law.
Again, no one is happy that a leftist idiot got herself killed because of the wretched shenanigans of the left. However, rather than whining about how much you just really don’t like the bad orange man, take a look in the mirror and see what it is you’re defending. Maybe stand up to it.
@shahnm omg. Trump has violated so many laws I can’t even list them. I get it you have trump derangement syndrome .
I’m done with you. Just note that your president wants the nobel peace prize. Thinks is spelled noble. And is declaring war on the world
The cognitive dissonance in your head…
@unksol
List them. I’ll wait. Really. Go ahead…
@shahnm I’m all for 9/11 jokes. A lady died. How long until we can joke about it? But wait a bit.
@shahnm I did not celebrate the fact that the woman was killed on January 6th, but by the exact logic that is being projected by the Right to justify the killing of Renee Good, Ashli Babbitt absolutely brought it on herself. Your meme invalidates itself.
I was vocal in my denouncement of both the attempted assassination and the one that took place, and I am on record as such, as are all of the progressive sources I follow. Your meme assumes a fallacy.
The video evidence seems pretty conclusive; only one deadly weapon was pointed at someone, and that weapon wasn’t a vehicle. Renee Good was not trying to kill anyone, but the ICE agent demonstrably was. Your meme trivializes without justification.
Qualified Immunity for this kind of act needs to go away unless explicitly granted after a neutral investigation and a hearing before a judge.
@werehatrack
Babbitt didn’t assault anyone. Good did.
Good struck the ICE agent with her car, and as she did not submit a specific statement beforehand that she had no intention of targeting others with her deadly weapon, it was appropriate for her to be neutralized by law enforcement before she could endanger any others. This isn’t complicated at all.
I’m all for an investigation, but I don’t really believe that there are any impartial judges or juries out there anymore…
@shahnm The rear-angle video pretty conclusively shows that Good was trying to flee without hitting anyone, and had she actually hit the agent, I don’t see how he’d have been on his feet where he clearly was when he started firing. The deadly response is obviously beyond disproportionate. (The same is arguable for Babbitt.) I’m sure that there are analyses underway to verify whether he was actually struck and whether he could just as easily have stepped aside if he was. I have serious doubts about that “hit”; we need reports from more eyes.
When citizens find themselves in the moral position of needing to come to the defense of the defenseless against a tyrannical government, where are we?
@shahnm @werehatrack Not sure what you are listening to or watching, but there is no and I repeat no visual or photographic (pics or video) evidence that she struck anyone. Only thing I saw was she may have pulled away when the ICE Gestapo was trying to open her car door, but he let go immediately.
Purely a figment of Trump rapidly declining mental state (or the continued use of orange hair dye finally seeping into his brain) and those lemmings who follow him blindly.
@shahnm @werehatrack Babbitt was really only the 1/6 person who got punished for what she did that day in a way Trump couldn’t reverse. Although Trump did find a way to pay her parents by settling a suit they brought against the gov’t so they got over 1 million dollars. Far more than she was worth that is for sure.
@werehatrack I don’t know how it’s reasonable to Monday-morning QB a situation that unfolds in a matter of a couple of seconds. If I’m the cop who finds myself in front of a car that’s suddenly thrown into gear, driven by someone who has clearly established hostility towards me and others before hitting the gas, I’m not sure I or anyone could reasonably take time to determine what’s proportionate.
I don’t think cops or ICE agents or any other representatives of law enforcement should have to die because they were not permitted to react defensively and decisively.
Good was not hunted. The agent did not seek her out. He didn’t have his gun out to threaten her, even as she obstructed him and his fellow agents and verbally harangued and harassed them.
A hostile individual behind the wheel of a vehicle is not “defenseless”.
@shahnm Listen to yourself there. “Good was not hunted.” And yet, while presenting no avoidable threat to ANYONE, she was shot multiple times while clearly trying to flee. That’s hunting, not self-defense. And the agent clearly did seek to put himself in a position to be a threat when he, clearly armed and armored, ran to a point near the front left of the vehicle. And as events unfolded, it became clear that he genuinely was a threat, as he proved by killing her. And 250 years of law and precedent says that verbally haranguing someone is not grounds for such a response, if any response at all.
If cops shouldn’t have to die in such a circumstance, THEN NEITHER SHOULD CITIZENS.
@shahnm @werehatrack it was not a cop. It was not a hostile individual.
And in this situation there was absolutely no threat.
But this statement is fundamentally false.
“I don’t think cops or ICE agents or any other representatives of law enforcement should have to die because they were not permitted to react defensively and decisively.”
Yep. They do. I’m not hostile to law enforcement. But they have to use that force very carefully and defensively. Not aggressively. We can’t control for bad people. They are stepping in the line. Some are going to die. Some are going to make it worse.
Nurses step in the line. A lot of professions do. The risks is there
this is absolutely aggressive. No police officer in Minnesota would behave this way and if they did IA would be on them. They probably would still get away with it. Because police departments have similar problems
ICE is an aggressive agency with no accountability
@unksol @werehatrack
Again, there are zero problems in non-sanctuary states. ICE does their jobs, criminal aliens go home. Peace prevails.
All - 100% - of the violence, rage, hate - 100% of it is from you sanctuary leftists who want to “resist”…
Resist what, exactly?? The laws of the United States? The opportunities that would be available to legal American citizens and residents when resources aren’t stolen by those who circumvented the proper pathway to live here? The bad orange man??
Yeah. You guys are real mensches. You completely and utterly fucked up this country, but at least you get to feel good about yourselves for “caring”…
@Felton10
You didn’t look that hard, I guess
@SarahKirby12345 I stand by my statement-she may have hit a car but you would too with a bullet in your brain. That video shows nothing except dementia don lying again.
@Felton10 Well well well – new cell phone footage from officer confirms he was hit.
@SarahKirby12345 I watched the video and it shows nothing of the sort. Maybe if you’d stop watching Faux News you might get accurate information at some point and stop believing everything the Orange Skidmark says.
@Felton10 are you that filled with TDS that you can’t see and hear what’s right in front of you? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/onXbSx7DibE
@SarahKirby12345 Well it isn’t a lying POS like Trump who cares nothing for you and only for himself. You are the one who is blind as a bat and ignorant to any real facts.
@Felton10 Are you talking to yourself in the mirror right now? You’re choosing to ignore video evidence, apparently
@SarahKirby12345 You are choosing to ignore the evidence.
A frame-by-frame analysis of the bystander footage, however, raised questions about administration officials’ accounts of the shooting. The SUV did move toward the ICE officer as he stood in front of it. But the officer was able to move out of the way and fire at least two of three shots from the side of the vehicle as it veered past him, according to the analysis.
But then again MAGA were never able to understand or process real evidence-example January 6.
Politicizing any death is what they want you to do.
Remember when we were all on the same side? Remember Occupy Wall Street?
@zhicks1987 I agree this should you be political on its face. This agent should be prosecuted as an individual. But because it’s ICE which is now the largest federal police force ever. Their training needs to be looked at and a lot of other things like we would with any police department.
@zhicks1987 and you don’t have to like this link/the fact that it’s brian tyler cohen. But it does contain the video vs what they are saying.
In court he may getaway with the PTSD excuse. Or the stress of the moment. But he was not touched. He was to the side. And this situation should not have been created in the first place. And we know what created it. We knew it was coming
@unksol @zhicks1987 Here’s a better link to JD Vance’s comments.
https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/2009336334675324991?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^2009336334675324991|twgr^cd0f826d719da3d448c6d6bde4a7aba74318260d|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Face.mu.nu%2F
@shahnm @zhicks1987 I do not have. You are wrong. Period. The manual for ICE says to not approach a vehicle from the front. And this asshole was holding his phone. Your options are send this asshole to jail as a one-off. Or admit ICE is fucked up.
@shahnm @unksol There are blurred lines when it comes to police justice. I despise the militirization of police forces across the globe. Trying to run over a police officer will get you shot everywhere.
@shahnm @zhicks1987 except that’s clearly not what happened. She drove AWAY from an ICE officer. Not TRIED TO RUN OVER. And you know that is true if you watch the video.
You could argue that this officer made a poor decision based on his PTSD. Which gets down to the poor training/screening of ICE. There was no reason for him to be in front of her to start. Have his gun drawn. All of this is against training.
Period.
Then the president and DHS calls her a domestic terrorist and part of a planned network. To justify their failure.Fuck that bullshit
@unksol @zhicks1987 If he had ptsd that bad, he should not have been working in a situation that could aggravate it
@ironcheftoni @unksol @zhicks1987 The military will retire a boot as disabled with PTSD that impairs their effectiveness. I know a couple of them. One is a neighbor, and I have to keep an eye on him; he’s got issues. They’re a mess, and they know it. I knew a third, but eventually it all got to be too much and he ended himself. That’s been happening a lot in our military and among our veterans, and it directly reflects on the realities of what we’ve created with our historically fucked up foreign policy.
@unksol @werehatrack @zhicks1987
@unksol @zhicks1987 I just saw the body cam footage of the interaction leading up to and including the agent’s self-defense action. This isn’t a matter of debate: The agent was aggressively assaulted by a hostile threat. He did what was necessary to neutralize it.
As for Renee Good: play stupid games, win stupid prizes, I guess.
@ironcheftoni @werehatrack @zhicks1987 and the VA should absolutely be doing more. It took forever to acknowledge the burn pits and Iraq issues. There was also a whole thing where they got scammed by compounding pharmacies but.
I straight up do not believe this guy had PTSD. He punched in someone’s window who obviously tried to flee an attack…like anyone would. He caused that incident. He caused this one. Period.
That’s just the kindest excuse we can make for him. And then he should have been off the streets
@shahnm @zhicks1987 it was not body cam footage. It was the agent recording on his phone. Remember they refuse to use bodycams against Court orders.
That video clearly shows her turning her wheels away from him. Even though he walked in front of her car. Which is against their training. Something they are never supposed to do. Per their policy. Hence untrained.
He caused this. Period
In his phone video she backed up, steered away from him. He stepped to the side, cleared the path. And murdered her. Then called her a fucking bitch.
I’m not debating facts with you when you are going to lie
@unksol @zhicks1987 No matter how many angles, no matter how clear the reality of the situation… You can’t do it - you cannot see anything other than what you want – need – to see. This shit will never end…
@shahnm @zhicks1987 you are lying that’s it. Everyone can see the video. See her say she’s not mad at him. See her be told to leave. See him walk in front of her. Violating his training.See her backup and turn away from him. And see him murder her. Then call her a bitch. Just fuck off with your bullshit.
@unksol @zhicks1987
Ah yes. “Christlike” indeed…
@shahnm @zhicks1987 never claimed Christ. But there was definitely some table throwing because of the the lies and hypocrisy
@unksol @zhicks1987 You really have no self awareness at all, do you…?
@shahnm @zhicks1987
Growing up in church and knowing the Bible is not the same as the corruption the is being used today. IDK where I fall now. I know Trump has corrupted the entire idea. I know there are good churches that actually know what the Bible says. Which you clearly don’t.
And I know its ok to say fuck.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sorry you don’t like it
@unksol I have no fucking problem saying fuck. I have a fucking problem with people claiming themselves to be “Christlike” or sanctimonious (in whatever way they choose to preen for the metaphorical camera), and then acting even more assholey than the targets of their irrational and misguided vitriol.
@shahnm at no point have I claimed to be christ like. I have only pointed out the fact that you. And they. Are flat out lying. And that in doing so envoking Christiananty. Which is very very sad
@unksol I haven’t lied. You don’t know what “lie” means, which computes, as you clearly don’t know what “truth” means, either.
And I have never “envoked” “Christiananty”… That’s all you. Just read the above posts as a refresher. Of course, now that you’ve latched onto another narrative-of-convenience, you won’t be able to see reality anymore…
Well, isn’t that special??

https://nypost.com/2026/01/08/us-news/renee-nicole-goods-sobbing-wife-who-claimed-minneapolis-ice-shooting-was-my-fault-revealed/
@MrGoodGuy The Post is known to accept and publish unverified (and cherry-picked) material. I’d take that with a bulk freighter load of salt until a more reliable source adds whatever context they’ve omitted. .
@werehatrack It took a while, but I finally found the actual video taken by a bystander:
Here is the page it’s posted on (It’s halfway down the page):
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15446793/ICE-Jonathan-Ross-shooting-Renee-Nicole-Good.html
@MrGoodGuy Classic example of grief-driven survivor guilt. She did not cause this, the person who pulled the trigger was the proximate aggressor, and those who directed the mess are ultimately the ones who ought to be held fully accountable.
Renee Nicole Good was Minneapolis ‘ICE Watch’ ‘warrior’ who trained to resist feds before shooting
https://nypost.com/2026/01/08/us-news/renee-nicole-good-was-minneapolis-ice-watch-warrior-who-trained-to-resist-feds-before-shooting/
“[Renee Good] was trained against these ICE agents — what to do, what not to do, it’s a very thorough training,” Leesa said…
…This call for aggressive and even violent resistance comes as ICE agents have faced an unprecedented spike in car attacks, surging by some 3,200% over the last year, shocking data released by the Department of Homeland Security revealed to The Post.
Federal officials said violent “radical rhetoric from sanctuary politicians” is to blame for vehicular attacks against ICE agents skyrocketing between Jan. 21, 2025, and Jan. 7, 2026 — 66 attacks were recorded during that time period compared to just two the year before…
@shahnm When citizens find it necessary to unite against out-of-control government in defense of other citizens, who’s to blame? Or have you forgotten Ruby Ridge and the rest?
@werehatrack The citizens were not united in support of “other citizens”. They were united in support of illegal criminals. There is a difference. It is not a subtle difference.
@shahnm ICE has warrantlessly invaded, detained, and even expelled US citizens on multiple occasions. They have demonstrated an agency-wide lawlessness that endangers everyone including citizens. Any act to obstuct them is an act in protection of the rest of us.
And OBTW, it was murder.
@werehatrack Nope.
https://revolver.news/2026/01/new-info-surrounding-the-real-renee-good-changes-everything/
@werehatrack I just watched your video. Really?? You will not only believe anything, you will believe anyone who tells you what you want to see and hear…
The car was thrown into reverse. It was then abruptly thrown into drive. The rear tires began spinning as Good gunned the engine. The ICE agent reacted to the rapidly developing imminent threat.
I reiterate that it is not the obligation of law enforcement or any other individuals to die in order for their families to later learn whether or not someone with a dangerous weapon in fact intended to use it for harm or if their hostile act was just coincidental.
The agent quickly assessed the threat and acted as he should have acted. We’re never going to know Good’s intentions, but it was right and proper in the heat of the moment for the agent to choose to save himself and possibly others.
Good should never have been there. She shouldn’t have brandished her car as a weapon. She shouldn’t have had to die for being stupidly caught up in a stupid movement in defense of indefensible criminal activity. I just can’t fucking even anymore…

All of the love and everything done and this is how I’m repaid
The lifeless eyes of my children and wife screaming that the fault is mine
Where are you now
Darkness falling my skins crawling out of reach with swollen hands
Broken and bled
Empty and dead
What a convention of lies and deception
Fury is consuming me
And I ask why and I ask for who
Disposal of the chosen few
Why
Hold on
Faith is your insignia, does devotion have your answers, false hope has left you lifeless, voices are all I hear
Where are you now

Why must I exist in this living Hell
Doomed

@Cerridwyn oh the very obvious answer to the Fermi Paradox is that they sent scout ships and were like “oh fuck no”
@unksol zephram cochrane would just still be a drunk science guy.
@Cerridwyn technically per cannon we still need world war 3 to come to our senses. Some people seem to be trying pretty hard to get there.

The “doomsday” planes have been out and outbout lately with various sightings around the country.
What I just found out tonight is that the training for the E-6B fleet is based in Oklahoma. But right now as I type this at 2AM Central time, there is one making “touch-and-go” landings at Tulsa International Airport as reported by a local reporter.
Here’s an article about them:
https://interestingengineering.com/military/us-navy-doomsday-aircraft-get-upgrade
@therealjrn I saw this last week:

@therealjrn Come on, guys. Peek, not peak.
@zhicks1987 They also said they “planes” to be there. That one might have been on purpose.
I’ll try it again. Remember when we were all on the same side? Occupy Wall Street!
@zhicks1987
last time I can remember was around 9/11… for a little while.
@chienfou @zhicks1987 I don’t think we all have to agree on everything.
It should be simple to agree that this administration is actively and intentionally damaging the country. The world. And if they are not stopped we will lose all the respect we have built over decades.

Anyone have the misfortune to listen to Trump diarrhea diatribe at Devos this morning which followed his rambling incoherent almost 2 hour White House briefing yesterday. He was trying to convince himself mostly and the American public of things which were contrary to what they already knew-
@Felton10

@shahnm You must be thinking of yourself. I wasn’t stupid enough to vote for the biggest BS artist of all time and be gullible enough to keep buying all the lies he is shoveling given all the evidence to the contrary.
@Felton10

@shahnm There is no discussing facts with someone like you who is so detached from reality.
@Felton10

@shahnm Everyone knows what a {fun friend} you are when you personally accused me for being responsible for my bird dying. If that gets me banned for attaching you directly so be it as @thumperchick ignored your comment and did nothing about it. You are a {lovely} human being just like that toilet floater that {geniuses} like you elected.
{TC - edit - it’s best to tag me when you need me, rather than after the fact. I’m not sure which comment you’re referring to. Link me if you can. }
@Felton10 @Thumperchick
Felton,
I am sorry about that comment. It was in the heat of battle, so to speak, and in very poor taste. Whether or not my apology means anything to you, I do apologize for that repulsive comment.
With that said, openly hoping that another human being would commit suicide (me in this instance, but your morbid hit list seems to be a revolving door), and then sincerely calling for the death of 80 million fellow Americans, simply because they disagree with your voting preferences… That is flat out sociopathic.
I may be an asshole with a penchant for occasional tasteless insults… But I am not a sociopath.
Seems entirely plausible to me! Typical Liberals.
@MrGoodGuy Trump already did- pardoned all those insurrectionists who beat up the capitol police on January 6th. Regardless of the reason for being there. they committed crimes by assaulting an officer. But obvious that is OK with you. PROVE ME WRONG.
@Felton10 Too bad Nancy Piglosi refused the National Guard Trump offered; may have helped the Capital police to “fend off” the fine and honorable patriots!
@MrGoodGuy Lies, name calling and insults are all you got. Typical MAGA just like your fearless demented leader.
@MrGoodGuy

@Felton10 said: “Lies, name calling and insults”. Sounds exactly like what the paid ICE “protesters” in MN and elsewhere are spewing.
@Felton10 @MrGoodGuy Speaking about speaking up:

@MrGoodGuy Think you forgot to include Trump on your list of “lies, name calling and insults”. He was the one who started this trend. PROVE ME WRONG.
@Felton10

@Felton10 There was no need to include your nemesis since Trump is the most sincere and HONEST President that America has ever seen! He’s even more honest than Lincoln was!!
@Cerridwyn Duh!
