The really serious shit just keeps on happening and I’m alone and sad on my Birthday. My Mom turned 89 last week and is in an Alzheimers facility. Between the pandemic and my own decline in health I hav’nt seen her in 20 months. I would really appreciate some Birthday wishes. Thank you!!

A friend of mine coined (AFAIK) the term “joy nuggets” as a way to remind her to actively look for the little things that make you happy, even in the midst of the crap storm. They’re always there and I hope you find them today, and more tomorrow.

i am sure have also felt/feel your pain.

Happy birthdayToday was my grandmas bday too. She died a little of over a month ago. She was great woman who always saw the positive in life even at 92 years old. Stay positive bc better days are on there way.
