Pimp your drone...
1Banggood has these little LED modules on sale for $0.43 each (when you buy 10) with free shipping (price in listing shows $0.69 for one, but comes up as $0.43 to $0.48 if you buy 3 or more).
Power input is DC 9-12v. They're a little power thirsty at 1A but they're rated at 900 lumen. I ordered 10 to play with. I'm thinking maybe I'd connect a couple to one of the spare channels on my RX as a orientation helper? Flip it on when I can't determine direction and rotate the quad 'till I see the lights? Or maybe configure one to light up when I switch to Loiter mode or when switching to manual mode or... who knows. They were so cheap I'm sure I can figure out something to do with them.

you'd probably be better off ordering just one of these: http://www.banggood.com/T10-Cree-Q5-Wedge-LED-Car-Reverse-Backup-Light-Bulb-7W-12V-Pure-White-p-78509.html both reviews say they're using them on RC vehicles one a quad one a plane.
@DJMajickMan Not bad. I like the packaging. 3 bucks a piece though.
@ruouttaurmind Yes but you only need one. These things are bright.
I plan on flashing Cleanflight on the CC3D controller for the 250 and using the programmable rgb led support to do nifty things on the front, back, and bottom.
I know a guy who could put a hell of a light show on a quad lol
......my house at Christmas.
@nltownsend843 Seriously? Your house? You never know who you're talking to on the internet :).
