@FreePasta@pat4ever during the last meh-rathon, they were $14 each on sidedeal. If you used the discount code for 20% off they were cheaper than the meh-athon by .80
I have no time for this “build your own art” stuff. It takes me all day to find more heroin, needles in the not good parts of my neighborhood. Then I shoot up and lay around all day watching Gumby. So, I shall have to pass MEH on this BIZARRE offer you extend to us today. Thank you for your time. Yours truly, Heroin Harry
I hope whatever buyer found this crap is subjected to some sort of cruel warehouse torture. These will never live up to the legends of CandyCorn, Fidget Spinners, Pasta, or Stroopwafels.
Yeah, I am bored at home on teleconference calls all day. But I am not looking for punishment to break the monotony, at least not the paper model kind.
I got the squirrel the first time, and I legit enjoyed the assembly process. A little tricky in places but fairly soothing. He looks like the pic but is way bigger than I expected. Like I can read the dimensions, but until I assembled it, I didn’t realize how hilarious a huge shiny paper squirrel would be.
On how many of these they probably have, in bulk they pack a lot better than most stuff. Each is basically a slightly thick 9.5x13 envelope. The one I measured is 7/32 inches thick. A standard pallet at 48x40 would hold 15 stacks of them. Lets say it’s stacked 4 feet high the stack would be over 200 envelopes high. That’s ~3000 on a pallet. That seems like it’s a lot of density without a lot of cost in warehouse space. When they sold back in May, 459 pairs of them sold. So assuming they got at least one full pallet, maybe more, they will probably be coming back repeatedly for a while.
The email subject line is “Paper is the future”. This is correct. Paper is “green”. It is produced from renewable resources. iPads are made from mincing operations and rare earth minerals. Paper cannot be “hacked”, unlike computers, digital voting machines, gas pipelines, etc.
I grabbed the King Kong on morning save for $9. Kinda tempted to get these too I have a giant closet of projects I never got around to and at least these won’t take up much space.
For anyone who’s purchased and built one of these, what’s the approximate assembly time? Thinking about it to keep my kids busy during the summer? Is it an hour or a few hours at least?
The beagle is cute but I’m afraid my flesh and blood beagle would make short work of it after assembled. Also, the hummingbirds are sold out so I’ll pass unless anyone who built that lion has any input.

This is like the last Mehrathon, all over again.
@FreePasta nailed it.
@FreePasta Except these were actually more expensive in the Mehrathon just a week ago… I spent 4 dollars extra last week for two, since each were $12.
@FreePasta @pat4ever buy these then return the others!! Hey 4 bucks is like almost a gallon of gas in Ca. THANKS BIDEN MFASJOLE
@FreePasta This seems worth repeating at the moment . . .

I guess there were some leftovers
@heartny probably a good thing… I’m not tempted at all.
The original meh face.

Did you guys buy a whole container ship of this stuff?
Dang, Meh. How many of these do you have, exactly?
@mhuyck Props to @robson who said this way better than I did.
$20 for paper. What a deal!!
No one seems to like paper puns. Probably because they’re all tearable.

@hchavers maybe you want the kind @tinamarie1974 has to offer?

@jakeline Look at this little dude. How is this not amusing?

@kevinrs possible1 pallet for each style? They are going to be here for a while.
/giphy up to our eyeballs in it
Hmm… looks like you have so many of these paper critters you are now having a fire sale?
Guess they weren’t big sellers last time, double Meh.

Just decided the squirrel and hummingbirds would be fun; and they are both sold out.
Meh!
I grabbed the King Kong on morning save for $9. Kinda tempted to get these too I have a giant closet of projects I never got around to and at least these won’t take up much space.
so I hear you haters, but my 16 year old daughter was excited for this deal so I bought 2.

@radar5 I took it slowly and was pretty careful. I’d say it was about 8-10 hours for the squirrel if you’re trying to do a nice job.
The beagle is cute but I’m afraid my flesh and blood beagle would make short work of it after assembled. Also, the hummingbirds are sold out so I’ll pass unless anyone who built that lion has any input.
In case of an earthquake, could these substitute for toilet paper?
20 bucks for paper? I can steal it for free out of the printer at work.
For some reason this deal is still live if anyone is still wanting these
