Anyone have anything to say about this thing? I’ll be travelling soon and want something to keep my beard trimmed to about 3-5mm so I don’t have to bring my larger/heavier trimmer with me.
I see this pop up often and the price seems good but I just don’t know if it’s worth it.
I bought this same trimmer at Costco for about $60 a year ago (part of a kit which included some extra attachments and a bulky carrying case). I bought it for business travel, and it performs well. This is a good deal, so i just bought another
@steelopus from the ‘face and body’ name it’s probably designed to shave there(ass?), but it might require enlisting a trusted friend to help out. After that you will have a new special bond with that friend, whether you wanted it or not.
I can’t speak to this product personally, but I bought a similar one for my son. His is the “First Shave” version, but I think it’s the same thing, just without the guards and body shaver blade. It works well for him - it handles the hairs that are still more like peach fuzz as well as the more coarse beard hairs coming in. It’s extremely forgiving - I don’t think he could cut himself if he tried. I would highly recommend this for any teenager who is learning to shave.

@steelopus it’s good. The blades don’t last very long / expensive to replace. But it shaves well and is easy to travel with (small, lightweight).
