I managed to keep a 115 click streak going through my new child’s arrival. I am pleased and ashamed and am sure one of you will tell me the German word for this.
@zippyus “Managed”? LOL Your new baby guaranteed you’d be up half the night to click… of course half the time you likely did it in a zombie state … mustta lost that streak the first time your kid slept through the night and wrecked your entire routine (grin).
funny, i posted the same picture earlier this morning, except a lot more potentially creepy, revealing stuff from my Chromebook screen shot, I don’t know how to edit photos on a Chromebook - anybody have suggestions (and don’t send me the link for lmgtfy), i’ve never made it a whole month since going on the wagon
@DMlivezey I use OSX and there is a way to take a partial screenshot; so I don’t have to edit the picture before uploading because I can highlight just the area I want.
@Thumperchick Is that 81 degrees as in temperature? I’m jealous. I turned the heat on this morning, and still wear a hat and gloves when working at my computer…
@f00l I somehow get the feeling you might be exaggerating the heaven aspect a bit. You’d feel like you were locked in the freezer if your body was used to being 107 and suddenly had to deal with 57
@haydesigner no thanks, I used to live in SF. I like it here in the northwest but if I had to move back to California it would be Norcal all the way. Gotta stay true to the roots and all that.
@metageist, I like northern CA as well… actually I think the Oregon coastline is some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, so I might even pick even further north myself.
But, if you were complaining about temperature… well…
Yay!
You’re playing a different game from most of us.
@jqubed I broke my streak a long time ago when I had no internet access for a whole week. I’m never clicking that meh face again.
Pride goeth before a fall.
/just sayin’

@zippyus Fahrvergnügen?

@DMlivezey Yours wasn’t nearly as bad as a certain recent congressional candidate’s.
@DMlivezey you could try these:

@jbartus awesome, thanks for the tip, first results:
Google creepin’ on me…
@DMlivezey I’m jealous of how well-travelled you are.
@jbartus yea, some of it was even enjoyable

Looks like Chromebooks have the same thing:

@metageist I think the problem in this was might have been merging several desired parts into one cohesive unit. I could be wrong, though!
That is pure art.
@hallmike
I have the opposite. Today also marks my first unbroken year long streak.
@Thumperchick Congratulations!
@Thumperchick Now you need to quit, before it’s too late, free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, I’m free at last.
@Thumperchick Don’t miss tomorrow, you’re still short one! It’s a leap year this year!
@Thumperchick Is that 81 degrees as in temperature? I’m jealous. I turned the heat on this morning, and still wear a hat and gloves when working at my computer…
@metageist that is typically what that little symbol represents, headings are far less commonplace in general usage.
Where are you from?
@metageist are you in the Yukon?
@Thumperchick @jbartus I’m in Seattle, and despite living here for many years I still feel like 57 degrees is cold
@metageist 57 degrees is great in January but I can see how it would be grossly disappointing in June (practically)
@jbartus
To me, any 57 degree summer day is pure heaven. Since it might normally be 40-50 degrees hotter than that here.
@f00l I somehow get the feeling you might be exaggerating the heaven aspect a bit. You’d feel like you were locked in the freezer if your body was used to being 107 and suddenly had to deal with 57
@metageist… this is why people from the PacNW move to SoCal
(I’d recommend the San Diego area much more than the LA or Orange County areas, though.)
