PastaDrop is a pop-up store by Mercatalyst. We’re a small team, around 75 employees. Like everyone else, we’re adapting as best possible to our new environment. We feel fortunate, thus far. As we look for appropriate ways to contribute, we’ve prioritized essentials and launched a food category in some stores. In partnership with restaurant distributors, we’ve supplied over 30 tons of shelf-stable food.

Following up in this direction, we’ve designed PastaDrop.

For this project we’ve also selected a charity, Equal Heart

Mercatalyst is donating $10,000 and 5 tons of dry pasta to Equal Heart*

With a mission to support people in times of adversity, Equal Heart is a hunger focused nonprofit that has doubled their efforts to meet increased community demand during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Based in Dallas, Texas they provide ready to eat meals and bulk food deliveries to over 10,000 families in their host community; as well as providing nutritional support to another 40,000 families in 18 states through their network of partner organizations.
