This looks like an AWESOME Product (if it works as advertised!) It puts today’s offering of electrified fly swatters to shame!! Here’s the details, a link, and a few videos of it in action:

A grand for a skeeter zapper is a bit much. Luckily, we don’t get a whole lot of mosquitoes where we live, and our local bat population does a good job of eating the ones we do have.

Used to get bats up in the top floor ceiling of our hospital. Occasionally they would wander through the spaces above the ceiling tiles and frequently ended up in our x-ray department (they were apparently attracted by the noise the CT scanner makes). They’d freak out everyone when one would go flying around down there.
If I was at work it became my unofficial job to capture them. I would put them in a container and take them home (over three miles away) which was far enough they wouldn’t find their way right back to the hospital. I’d let them go when I got home and they would fly into the woods across the street. I now have a pretty healthy bat colony around my street light at night. Win/win!
@Pony A little firmware tweaking and you just might be able to open your own budget lasik eye center to recoup the initial cost.

@chienfou @Pony Bats are awes0me! I remember as a teenager a bat got into my sister’s room and she wouldn’t come out from under the covers. My dad walked in and caught it in a suitcase. A SUITCASE! And then he let it go outside. That’s how my dad rolled
