@jbartus I really could not care less about that situation. They would have defeated the Colts in that game no matter what the hell he was throwing. The memes, plus the fact that Pats fans defend the hell out of him still make me smirk.
That being said, he is the GOAT.
It’s the NFL’s way of handicapping a team. The better team wears the more obnoxious [and visible] color so that they’re easier to see for the QB. It seems that nothing can help the Rams…
@mikibell They are doing a thing called “color rush” on Thursdays- it is supposed to pop on tv. The tops and bottoms are also the same color so it is supposed to help color blind people too. The Dolphins uniforms were accused of being creamsicle colored.
@f00l Viewership is dropping so they are trying new things. I personally think that extra points should be awarded on the quality of the touchdown celebration. Kicking is so boring.
@sammydog01 this article confuses me. The highlighter yellow is in the top five, but the neon orange from the dolphins is in the bottom. They are complaining it’s too bright.
@RiotDemon because it’s not objective in the least and they therefore allowed personal preferences to color their selections? This isn’t something a panel of a few hundred people came up with, it was some pool done in the (I’m sure tiny) Yahoo Sports editorial office. There’s nothing scientific at all, they even said that Seattle’s got in because the one editor liked them and he’s the boss. It was literally a clickbait filler article that did its job.
@f00l you’re entitled to like anything you like, I am just saying that the article in question is not founded upon the popular opinion of a meaningful sample size of people.
@sammydog01 the problem is color rush mandated matching pants. I agree with you, highlighter yellow + black pants would actually be kinda sharp looking.
Yes. I agree the uniforms were bad. Very bad.
This has fans go out & buy more NFL Seahawks stuff in the green color. It’s the $$, especially as Thursday Night games have fairly low ratings, I’ve heard.
I’d really like to see them dump Thursday games (except Thanksgiving day). Also dump those stupid games in Mexico & London.
We are the NFC West Champs (fairly easy division this year)!
@daveinwarsh fairly easy? The NFC West is like Pee Wee Football, I mean hell, you’re the only team with a win loss average of over .500 and one of only two even close to .500… don’t get me started on the 49ers.
From what I’ve gathered TNF brings in too much money to dump it.
@daveinwarsh I’m sorry, I think you stumbled over your vocabulary and the word you were looking for when you said “stomp” was “edge”. That was a close fought game and you know it.
Shall we discuss your loss to the Rams in Week 2 or tied the Cardinals or can we just agree that winning your division isn’t a particularly high honor this year and leave it at that?
@jbartus Wow… Don’t take it personal. We ‘Beat’ the Pats on a short week & long flight away game. Maybe a stomping would be over the 7 points we won by…
I think we should have pulled Wilson after his injuries, but it’s turning out OK for our Pee Wee league Seahawks.
At least we’ll be the team everyone wants to play, because they can beat us!
@daveinwarsh 7 points would be a significant win in baseball maybe. In this case you guys won by a touchdown that you didn’t even score an extra point on which forced us to go for a touchdown instead of taking a field goal we could have easily had. Either way the lead was traded back and forth during said game. It was a well played game on both sides, have respect for that.
Also I said your division was pee wee, not your team.
I don’t watch football, but even I saw those uniforms on the tv from 2 rooms away…
@thismyusername they’re awful, literally awful! XD
Not about the Patriots? How deflating…
@hems79 replace Roger Goodell with your name.

@jbartus I really could not care less about that situation. They would have defeated the Colts in that game no matter what the hell he was throwing. The memes, plus the fact that Pats fans defend the hell out of him still make me smirk.

@hems79 yes. Yes he is.
They’re better than the Jacksonville baby-poop-yellow-brown from Thursday Night Football last season
@capguncowboy I found the mustard yellow uniforms to be far less offensive to the eye.
Someone stole all of that flag’s color… and then made one of the stripes blue…? What?
@nogoodwithnames it’s a police solidarity flag. Thin Blue Line.
Go Hawks!
I love bright colors. Anything that sears the retinas.
@RiotDemon I kind of like that color too.
It’s the NFL’s way of handicapping a team. The better team wears the more obnoxious [and visible] color so that they’re easier to see for the QB. It seems that nothing can help the Rams…
Go Patriots.
Why?
@mikibell I don’t understand the question. Please indicate which you were asking:
@jbartus Yes. (And sorta seriously, is there a reason for highlighter yellow?)
@mikibell They are doing a thing called “color rush” on Thursdays- it is supposed to pop on tv. The tops and bottoms are also the same color so it is supposed to help color blind people too. The Dolphins uniforms were accused of being creamsicle colored.
@sammydog01
I think it would be kinda fun if all the teams had to go fluorescent once in a while.
It’s not about sports so much as “entertainment” now.
@sammydog01 cool… I could not tell what team it was to google why
@mikibell @sammydog01 @f00l it is possible to color rush and still retain taste, style, and sense.
@jbartus Yes the Texans looked great that night.
@sammydog01 yeah theirs were pretty good too.
@f00l Viewership is dropping so they are trying new things. I personally think that extra points should be awarded on the quality of the touchdown celebration. Kicking is so boring.
@jbartus
NFL HQ top brass do not appear to care much about “taste, style, and sense”.
I would imagine we agree on that?
@f00l I’ll agree to those, would you care to extend that to include logic, integrity, and the laws of physics?
@f00l Kinda like the “news”.
@jbartus
@lisaviolet
Yes will agree to those addendum wholeheartedly.
Oh yeah. To the list of discarded virtues add in “dignity” and “honor”.
@f00l how about human decency? Some shenanigans that have been allowed involving the beating of significant others come to mind.
@jbartus
Yeah but it’s starting to get more and more depressing as we go.
Sigh.
Jan 2017 prob not my fav month ever.
@f00l wait, how does January 2017 relate to the NFL top brass?
@jbartus
Jan 2017 relates rather to “news”.
For anyone interested, here is the Yahoo Sports top and bottom five ranking of the color rush jerseys. FYI Seattle made the top five.

@sammydog01 I always get my fashion advice from the sports arms of news agencies that have fallen apart and had to sell out to an ISP.
@jbartus
Then you know where to look for fashion advice!
@f00l

@jbartus
I like Seattle’s mega highlighter green. And the orange and teal ones. And the Houston ones. Some team needs to grab highlighter yellow.
Dallas’s are way lame. They should have gussied up either with silver, or with a brighter. more “royal” blue.
@f00l you’re entitled to like anything you like, I am just saying that the article in question is not founded upon the popular opinion of a meaningful sample size of people.
@RiotDemon Who knows, I like them. Personally I think the main problem is the one color deal- dark pants would tone it down a lot. Apparently the players liked them. The guys at Fox Sports not so much.

@sammydog01 the problem is color rush mandated matching pants. I agree with you, highlighter yellow + black pants would actually be kinda sharp looking.
@jbartus
I know. I did not love the yahoo sports article.
@jbartus
PS perhaps theCowboy color rush uniforms are lame because they don’t want anyone to notice them when they play.
I just stopped by to say: I hate sports, especially football.
@Lurker I’m sorry.
@Lurker Not all sports. Just football.
Maybe they kept losing their players in the dark.
Yes. I agree the uniforms were bad. Very bad.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@jbartus …We did stomp the Patriots…
@jbartus how you tied*
There’s a reason your division has been clinched and none of the others have and it’s not because your record is leading the league.
@jbartus Wow… Don’t take it personal. We ‘Beat’ the Pats on a short week & long flight away game. Maybe a stomping would be over the 7 points we won by…
