OMG! Is this a new idea?

I seriously just had an epiphany, I sure hope no one suggested it before. I hate it when I think of something and find out it's old hat.

People had suggest there should be something like a "woot-off", I was just thinking (after hearing much lament) that it would be fun if there was a week or a month, some random time frame, where the sale began a random time each day with sales lasting longer or shorter time than 24 hours ending at the standard time of a sale when the "event" is over. While it's not that special an idea, for me, it seems like if might be a bit of fun.
