Well, in all honesty, Home Depot is one of the last places I would buy luggage any way…
Ranks right up there with 7-11 or Tractor Supply.
@haydesigner OMG!! AutoINcorrect is a perv! I post a couple of Pussy Riot songs MONTHS ago in the Driving Game & autoINcorrect thinks that’s often enough to keep the word in my list of suggestions?!
I remember when flying was fun. Then Sept. 11 happened and security became a drudgery. Then the pandemic hit and mask shaming became the entertainment. Then company accountants discovered all the savings of video conferencing and no more approved travel.
I miss the days when I traveled and could use a new set of hard side luggage. I pass on this deal with fond memories of a time of travel now gone bye-bye.
@hchavers Speaking of TSA and security, I misdoubt that they would be happy with this feature, and with SWMBO watching a lot of “To Catch a Smuggler”, I think Customs might object too:
“Hidden compartment inside the expandable area on carry-on size only”
the men in the bowler hats with matching tattoos beneath their right eyes who communicate not with words but a series of humming noises that seem to emanate from their chests more than their mouths

Home Depot says 100% ABS. Doesn’t even pretend that they have any meaningful polycarbonate. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Olympia-USA-Denmark-3-Piece-ABS-Expandable-Hardcase-Spinner-Set-HF-2200-3-NY/303652041. What’s more, although the average review there is 4.5, some of the more helpful reviews suggest that the grade is inflated by “most are saying that they haven’t used it but it looks nice.”
Those which talk about how the suitcases actually handle in the real world are not so rosy.
I was interested, but not so much now.
@Odysseus1001 the version we are selling is the Denmark Plus. Home Depot is selling the Denmark. One of the major differences is material.
@mandirose @Odysseus1001 …that’s if you can trust the Danish… er, um, Chinese.

Olympia USA Denmark
So is it Greek, American or Danish?
@ybmuG Chinese.
@Odysseus1001 @ybmuG See my pussy below. I think it means Olympia, WA, is going to be the new capital of Denmark. Bye, Copenhagen.
Isn’t that usually where it is located?”

@haydesigner Btw, i never answered your question. I guess that would depend on whether one is upside-down or not.
@ircon96 Thanks for clarifying…I guess I can stop looking below now.
@ircon96 Helping your home town become famous, huh?
That’s a little too much.
Took me 7 minutes to read it all.

Just sayin’
I enjoyed the writeup. Algernon Blackwood would be pleased.
@sammydog01 Yeah, it’s been quite a while since we’ve heard from Miranda!
When did the USA annex Denmark?!
Luggage is for those who have someplace they need to go to.
Thanks, but I’m good right here.

I only buy FUL branded luggage from MEH. I’m a snob.
Mal-Wart luggage? Nah.
@guyfromhawthorn SIMILAR
The person who did the narrative is awesome. How do you feed him without getting hurt? Perhaps a slot in the wall?
VAN GOGH! MANGO! TANGO! AWESOME!
@richferg
here is the rest of the saga so far…
After first use the large one is already ripping. These may be good for light use, but not a good quality product.
