@violue Well it does have “11,000Pa of cyclonic suction” so maybe it would ideal for any usage, or not. W(ho)TF knows what 11,000Pa means in this context (or any other). Although I am fairly sure Pa is not a valid measure of “cyclonic suction”.
OK, down the rabbit-hole… This http://newsletter.oapt.ca/files/how-strong-a-vacuum-can-you-make.html says you can “suck” water up to 7m (hard to believe, but this is science). Atmospheric pressure is 10.3mH20 (same reference) or 101,325Pa so, 7/10.3*101325 is 68860Pa, which says a human sucking on a straw is ~6x more powerful than this vacuum. What you do with this information when faced with a cleaning task is up to you…
@heartny@hiroo yeah I was worried about it too. Kind of like some questionable fast-food restaurant you always drive past and never stop at, and then one day they bulldoze it and it’s just an empty dirt field, so you’re a bit sad for it anyway.
I see they added some new questionable sites down the street, though. Was excited about refurbs-R-us and the everything with 30 day warranty store!
Edit it’s there now, but MorningSave isn’t? Oh it’s back.
@hiroo@pmarin Out of curiosity I logged into Lewis & Conger with my Meh credentials. It sadly doesn’t look like they offer anything new that we haven’t seen before in one form or another.
@heartny@pmarin thanks for pointing out the lewis & conger site. didn’t know they had yet another site. but yeah, mostly the same stuff we’ve seen here or morningsave. they really covering all their marketing bases.
@gwrankin@heartny@hiroo@pakopako@pmarin when I lived in Chicago, back in the days of the yellow pages, there was a pizza place that had 3 yellow pages listing with 3 different restaurant names. Take-out/delivery only. If you walked by the place it just said “Pizza” on the store front. If you poked your head inside there were three phones on the wall with company labels above them. We only once caught them answering with the wrong name. Statistically, triple the chance of a random call. Not sure if it works as well for websites…
I really thought picture 8 was the meh team’s joke picture. I guess when you think about it, most of those pictures are a joke. “Great for dark corner!”

At first glance, I did not immediately clock this as a small vacuum cleaner. No. I did not.
/showme groovy bespectacled English chap from the 1960s saying, “honestly, it’s not mine!” While others look at him doubtingly

Sort by most recent reviews on Amazon. The 4 most recent reviews all said it was DOA or stopped working.
Meh.
@ColeSloth basically the same price at Amazon too if you’re not a meh member.
@ColeSloth @misanthropic1 Wow. So extra meh today.
This is a vacuum?? Not a “personal massager”?

Why is SideDeal not shown at the top now?
Is there a change in relationship or are they shutting down?
@hiroo It seems to be there now, although it comes and goes as I refresh my screen.

@heartny @hiroo @pmarin I’ve never heard of Lewis & Conger. I’ll check it out.
I did recently notice that we can now shop at the Univision store!
@gwrankin @heartny @hiroo @pmarin they already have Hammacher Schlemmer, why add L-C?

@gwrankin something about the vacuums and IoT taking over (see joke from 2018 about IoT taking over)

Do not mix this up with your Magic Wand. I mean unless you’re into that.
