Very happy with this FUKU! probably about $60 worth of crap The noise cancelling feature on the over ear headphones doesn't do much (using this test: ) But the headphones work fine - seem well made. The Leather case is really nice... goes for about $30 on amazon - (there's a price tag on it that says $149.99 whatevs!!) The hub is junk - water bottle is about $9 on amazon the book will go in the bathroom and the tattoos to the youngins :-)

So I went to City Hall and no one was there, it being Saturday and all. I declared that everyone has been relieved of duty, and that our Meh overlords will be taking care of things from now on. @juststephen yes, that small bit of white noise is much better than an airplane engine. Test it by standing next to your running clothes dryer and turning the noise cancelling on and off. You'll get a better idea of what it does.
@baseba4551 I see. It's my computer that was amplifying the noise drastically. It's not nearly as loud when plugged into my smartphone. My computer audio ports are just horrible. Hence why I use a USB headset.

@bakeyoural Mine came today too - identical to yours. My builts were all kindle fire black. Plus 3 jackknives with fake scrimshaw on the handles. The jack knives and copter thing got snagged before I could even say a word by 2 kids in this household. The other adult here swiped the Moscow Mule mug. The cats set up housekeeping in the box (way oversized for what was in) it - oh yeah forgot about some TX air… Next time I am going to open this box where no one can see. I wanted to play with the copter!!! The kids are happy and they aren't even my kids (I live in their basement at the moment). Thanks Meh. While I was hoping for the mug, and am content with how little neoprene I got, what I most want to talk about is this keyboard.
It is the single most Engrish thing I have ever seen. It comes with a "Certificate of Conformity." I will say that the best part about it is the quality of the LED back-lighting, and the fact that it came with a keycap puller... For a not mechanical keyboard... This thing manages to be delightfully dumb.

Very funny joke though sending me a knife, I cant tell if you did it on purpose after I said I was lible to kill or maim myself with the saw from the tool set. I have no idea how to close this thing now that I've opened it and I don't want to lose a finger.

@sushiboy The headlight is hand crank powered similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Mitaki-Japan-Crank-Led-Head-Lamp/dp/B002XUIL4C? If you unfold the crank and then turn it for at least a minute in either direction it should turn on. The button is kind of a pain to actually depress, so you may find it easier to use the side of a desk to get it to cycle. There should be a setting with the center LED illuminated, one with all three illuminated, and one where all three flash.
@dschonew Thanks for the help. Didn't really look at the headlight or the crank. I only pressed the button and dismissed it as being broken or missing a battery. It works but it doesn't seem that bright.
@sushiboy I was about to disassemble it with a mini-screwdriver until I figured out that the hand crank actually moved. It isn't very bright, I am planning to use it when I run at night with the strobe/flash setting enabled.

My box was originally scheduled for Thursday but then got changed to Friday. So when I was heading out of work today (Thursday) I was surprised to see it sitting by the front door. Especially since I'm not going in to work tomorrow and thought I'd have to wait until Monday. When I got it home and took a look, I saw that there was near-catastrophic tape failure on the bottom. Only one end of each flap was still taped on. I can only imagine my awesome note from @moose slipped out the opening.

Not bad for my first fuku! I was slightly disappointed in no Built NY sleeves. I do have 30, but seeing that many ppl were getting iPad2 sleeves, and I got none in my box of 30, I was hoping I could score in the fuku! oh well.
So it's kitchen utensils, a cool copper mug, bottle opener keychain, fake ipod nano mp4 player, a book called "awkward family photos", and 4 neoprene 9-10" tablet cases in black. Nothing special but I'm happy with the mug and bag. Most of the rest will be gifts, maybe not the utensils
Honestly? A little disappointed. Would still do it again, but it was sad to see everyone get the headphones and for me to end up both with just the headphone box and also a strap without a flashlight. I almost wonder if I was at the end of the packing for this round. Ah, well. I'm just happy to have the bag. Oh, and the stickers. Totally getting high on the stickers tonight.

@Moose Uh, yeah, first of all, it wasn't as easy as it would seem. See, I made the mistake of assuming there were actually 375 pieces in the 375 piece knex kit. There were not. Try 159 (or 163 if you include the case, lid, and two rubber bands) pieces and no instructions. So, my pictures are at the bottom in a new post because, well this new fangled reply to a message doesn't seem to easily support embedding images (or I'm just dumb. Could be both.)

I'm bummed the headlamp doesn't work, but meh. I have tried out the Auto vac yet, I had to stop and clean up once all the dirt got all over my pants. The Gigs headphones are actually really nice, very comfortable and the sound is pretty good. I swapped out the 3.5mm cable they came with because it is just too long and bulky. My "4lbs", 20x12x9 in box contained NO neoprene. Not even any bags of Texas air. The tape job looked suspiciously like someone had already opened it AND it didn't really weigh 4lbs. Makes me wonder what else might have been in there when it left Texas....

In case people are wondering: The "Beverage of Bazooka" is a backpack with two clear tubes for holding liquid (shots, beer, or mixed drinks). They each have a long flexible tube with a tap on the end for dispensing. There's also a mesh pouch which hangs off to hold cups, shot glasses, etc. The instruction manual also states not to worry about the beer getting warm, because you'll be so popular that it won't have enough time.
I got mine yesterday! (Still haven't recieved my #3 though!) This one was great, and I'm quite happy with it: -1 x Fuku Back pack bag (Used this bad boy yesterday and held up well to being over loaded with crap) -1 x gigs fold-able noise cancellation headphones (Wife will get these) -5 x built Kindle fire sleeves (expected to get something like this) -1 x Pull Back Soft Dart Gun - (Tried to shoot my wife with it and found it shoots ~2 ft. On one hand, I'll probably get the most use out of the playing cards in this.
On the other hand, the speakers are somewhat nice, and if I ever get a stereo receiver that's one less thing to buy.
On the gripping hand, my wife makes me use headphones all the time because she's noise sensitive, so I'd only be able to use it when she's not in the house.

All pictured before already, but it's my first ever Fukubukuro so I took a picture anyway (and I was never able to get a BoC before, so you could say I've popped my Rutledge cherry).
Well, I only tried twice ~2005 then gave up visiting woot because I never felt the urge to buy anything. It seems the VMP and meh button experiments really worked on keeping me here: I found out about meh from a slickdeals post on the Kindle Fire 2-for-Tuesday. Because of VMP, I bought 4 more things that month. I accidentally let VMP renew because the renewal came one day earlier than expected, so I bought 4 more things the next month. I have not used half of those impulse orders. In case any meh staff are confused, those were under my "no meh" account @Odilatinam, since I was trying to keep this one with "perfect meh". I have since mothballed that other account when I found out I can meh and purchase.

1 Boogie Board 8.5. It works while in the package; I guess they could assume the battery was good for years even after people trying it out before purchase. Odd product idea; not sure it could have ever been successful.
One light up shot glass, arrived in pieces. In fact one of the batteries ended up in the package for the e-reader case. I found the shot glass, blinker unit, battery, and the rubber end cap. Two of the batteries are dead; I'm gonna get three fresh batteries and try it out.
Given my shipping weight, I was expecting pure Meh. But this is better than Meh. Methinks you have overshot the mark here.
@bradandcoffee They feel better built than the Toccs bluetooth headphones. They sound better (to me - though I have some hearing loss) than the Razer headphones. They are fairly comfortable, though they might get hot on a warm day. The noise cancellation seems to work well. I'm in a room with a refrigerator and a couple other fans - it essentially makes the refrigerator sound disappear, though the other fan can still be heard. They've got a mute button (mis labeled as a "Nute" button on the box that momentarily mutes the sound as long as you press it down. Overall, not too bad.
Pelican Bay Hot Chocolate Mix with Marshmallows (Just the bag - I think the meh staffers drank the hot chocolate. I would too, it sounds delicious!) There are some cryptic numbers written on the back of the bag, though I don't know if they mean anything.

Fast forward through 20 minutes of a lot of swearing back at the device as it read the buttons I tried to press instead of clicking them. Until I am able to disable the accessibility "features".
Finally, a working device with some girl's emails on there from 2013.
I did also forget to mention I also received the amazing awkward family photos book.
Thank you Meh! I can now justify why I buy random things like Fuku whenever possible.
Perhaps I will use this device as a development platform for some unofficial and useless Meh android app. Or you know...not.

Thank you @snapster for including some nice things in these fuku's. One particular item that was in mine has been a lifesaver with respect to a troubled kid in the household whose basement I am currently living in. He wanted it from the second I opened the fuku and amazingly has been willing to work for it. He got out of residential treatment right before christmas (he was adopted by this family 6 years ago and has a lot of issues due to living through a boat load of abuse - as did his 3 sibs but he seems to have the most issues right now) and recently has been on a behavior backslide.
Anyway the quad helicopter I got in my fuku (which I had originally planned to give to my nephew for his 21st birthday as he loves those things), actually served as a really, really effective reward for this kid. He has not been suspended once since the fuku came which is a major accomplishment for him - he is in alternative school and gets sent home at least once a week for behavior. Both the school and the family are amazed that this has worked so well. He will get it on Wed if he can hold it together through then (which seems likely as he is about counting the seconds, if not it will take him a bit longer to earn it).
I had been planning to sell it since I need the cash for health insurance but this is a much better use for it all things considered. Thanks again for included some nice stuff in fukus.
So, I'm sitting here realizing I forgot to post about my Fuku - as some of you might remember, my wife gave me shit-tons of grief for buying online all the time again when I returned from overseas where I was stuck working on an extended project in central Europe (it is back to the point where when she opens the door in the morning it looks like Christmas everyday with all the packages - so I started having most of my stuff shipped to my office that is in a converted duplex across town that has proper zoning as it abuts a business park) but mostly she's just pissed about the fact it appears I buy things that we have no use for (although damn if I don't always think we really, really need it - whatever it is - when I press the BUY button). And, I generally always find a use for what I buy . . . . But, she gave me grief in front of my ten year old son (who suffers from Tourette's and I have spoke about this on this forum before) and in that conversation she told me that if I couldn't go a week without buying online I'd have to open what I bought dressed in drag, on camera, with my son watching. We do little things like this a lot to keep my son engaged and having fun and we use it to teach him lessons about embarrassment and socialization (and being okay with things and going along with a joke) as he has difficulty socializing.
So the Fuku pops up for sale in that week, and BAM, I got one, - so I'm screwed. I'm gonna have to go through with it.
So, the Fuku arrives and she dolls me up in a granny costume (complete with make-up, Avon perfume and a walker) - and we wait for my son to arrive home from school. He hits the front door and she starts taping, and it is a disaster. My son had a very bad day and he's ticking and having verbal outbursts, and at times he is so anxious on the video he acts as though he doesn't recognize me.
So, much as I tried, I can't really "save" the footage to the point where watching it would be much fun. In fact, it got to the point several times where my mascara was running. But, that's just par for the course sometimes dealing with a great young man with a difficulty. Some days are good, some are bad. She recorded in 4K so I'll pull a still off of it sometime in the future and prove that I really did dress up . . .
Anyway - here's what I got - no need for pics, as they would just be redundant to those already posted in the thread:

I'm still trying to figure out something awesome to make, but frankly, it's tough to do with only a few pieces available. (Well, that and I just started a new job, so I haven't had a lot of free time to begin with.)
I did learn my lesson: Don't assume the advertised contents of the box are actually included inside.

My box was actually pretty ordinary. 5 sleeves, a broken headlamp, an entire flea market's worth of glittery tattoos, etc ...
However, one important question remained unanswered because life got in the way.
@hollboll - Butterflies talk about Meh, of course. Mostly, they're disappointed because not one single butterfly has yet to get a fukubukuro. They're fairly sure it's a conspiracy. They also complain that they have no pockets.

Very happy with this FUKU! probably about $60 worth of crap The noise cancelling feature on the over ear headphones doesn't do much (using this test: ) But the headphones work fine - seem well made. The Leather case is really nice... goes for about $30 on amazon - (there's a price tag on it that says $149.99 whatevs!!) The hub is junk - water bottle is about $9 on amazon the book will go in the bathroom and the tattoos to the youngins :-)

Are those headphones supposed to produce a loud humm noise when you're wearing them? It's -very- loud, can't even concentrate on music when it's on.
@juststephen I think that's their "Noise Cancelling Technology" lol, I just turned it off and don't have the noise anymore.
@juststephen yes, that small bit of white noise is much better than an airplane engine. Test it by standing next to your running clothes dryer and turning the noise cancelling on and off. You'll get a better idea of what it does.
@baseba4551 I see. It's my computer that was amplifying the noise drastically. It's not nearly as loud when plugged into my smartphone. My computer audio ports are just horrible. Hence why I use a USB headset.

@bakeyoural Mine came today too - identical to yours. My builts were all kindle fire black. Plus 3 jackknives with fake scrimshaw on the handles. The jack knives and copter thing got snagged before I could even say a word by 2 kids in this household. The other adult here swiped the Moscow Mule mug. The cats set up housekeeping in the box (way oversized for what was in) it - oh yeah forgot about some TX air… Next time I am going to open this box where no one can see. I wanted to play with the copter!!! The kids are happy and they aren't even my kids (I live in their basement at the moment). Thanks Meh. While I was hoping for the mug, and am content with how little neoprene I got, what I most want to talk about is this keyboard.
It is the single most Engrish thing I have ever seen. It comes with a "Certificate of Conformity." I will say that the best part about it is the quality of the LED back-lighting, and the fact that it came with a keycap puller... For a not mechanical keyboard... This thing manages to be delightfully dumb.
Overall, 10/10 would Meh again.

Very funny joke though sending me a knife, I cant tell if you did it on purpose after I said I was lible to kill or maim myself with the saw from the tool set. I have no idea how to close this thing now that I've opened it and I don't want to lose a finger.

@sushiboy The headlight is hand crank powered similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Mitaki-Japan-Crank-Led-Head-Lamp/dp/B002XUIL4C? If you unfold the crank and then turn it for at least a minute in either direction it should turn on. The button is kind of a pain to actually depress, so you may find it easier to use the side of a desk to get it to cycle. There should be a setting with the center LED illuminated, one with all three illuminated, and one where all three flash.
@dschonew Thanks for the help. Didn't really look at the headlight or the crank. I only pressed the button and dismissed it as being broken or missing a battery. It works but it doesn't seem that bright.
@sushiboy I was about to disassemble it with a mini-screwdriver until I figured out that the hand crank actually moved. It isn't very bright, I am planning to use it when I run at night with the strobe/flash setting enabled.

My box was originally scheduled for Thursday but then got changed to Friday. So when I was heading out of work today (Thursday) I was surprised to see it sitting by the front door. Especially since I'm not going in to work tomorrow and thought I'd have to wait until Monday. When I got it home and took a look, I saw that there was near-catastrophic tape failure on the bottom. Only one end of each flap was still taped on. I can only imagine my awesome note from @moose slipped out the opening.

Honestly? A little disappointed. @Moose Uh, yeah, first of all, it wasn't as easy as it would seem. See, I made the mistake of assuming there were actually 375 pieces in the 375 piece knex kit. There were not. Try 159 (or 163 if you include the case, lid, and two rubber bands) pieces and no instructions. So, my pictures are at the bottom in a new post because, well this new fangled reply to a message doesn't seem to easily support embedding images (or I'm just dumb. Could be both.)

I'm bummed the headlamp doesn't work, but meh. I have tried out the Auto vac yet, I had to stop and clean up once all the dirt got all over my pants.
The Gigs headphones are actually really nice, very comfortable and the sound is pretty good. I swapped out the 3.5mm cable they came with because it is just too long and bulky. I had no uses using the headphones with another cable. The odd thing is that these headphones exist nowhere on the internet.

My "4lbs", 20x12x9 in box contained NO neoprene. Not even any bags of Texas air. The tape job looked suspiciously like someone had already opened it AND it didn't really weigh 4lbs. Makes me wonder what else might have been in there when it left Texas....
However, it did contain the following:

When girlfriend opened the box the steak knives were out of their packaging all over inside the box. Looked a little scary.

But the best part of this whole thing? I was sick in bed when the delivery came and my wife says "did you order something ridiculously large from meh?"
In case people are wondering: The "Beverage of Bazooka" is a backpack with two clear tubes for holding liquid (shots, beer, or mixed drinks). They each have a long flexible tube with a tap on the end for dispensing. There's also a mesh pouch which hangs off to hold cups, shot glasses, etc. The instruction manual also states not to worry about the beer getting warm, because you'll be so popular that it won't have enough time.
I got mine yesterday! (Still haven't recieved my #3 though!) This one was great, and I'm quite happy with it:

That's all I can remember but feel I'm missing something else. I'll try to remember taking a picture tonight and updating this with the handset information.

Overall I enjoyed the experience and would meh it up again.

On one hand, I'll probably get the most use out of the playing cards in this.
On the other hand, the speakers are somewhat nice, and if I ever get a stereo receiver that's one less thing to buy.
On the gripping hand, my wife makes me use headphones all the time because she's noise sensitive, so I'd only be able to use it when she's not in the house.
(Also, the tape on the top said that the box had been resealed by the USPS, so it probably had the same tape issues that some others did.)
Brought the stuff home, wife took the Carabiner and the lock, 6 year old son took the bag and the USB Hubman. I took the deck of cards and the no note. Speakers go into the garage until I need them.
OK... so it was similar to what others got... I was really hoping for the copper cup and the Kitchen utensil set... but...

If anyone is interested in trading for the headphones, I have a ton of stuff to offer in kind (jamboxes, iphone cases, usb charging sticks, etc.).
I'm not a collector of anything, and I'm certain the the fuku bag will end up in my closet collecting dust, only to be unceremoniously discarded in a couple of years when I clean out said closet. So, does any one want it? Make some sort of trade? I figure there is someone out there who would love and cherish it. Everything else I received will actually see some use, except for the awkward family photos book. Maybe I'll put that in the guest bathroom for long poopers.

All pictured before already, but it's my first ever Fukubukuro so I took a picture anyway (and I was never able to get a BoC before, so you could say I've popped my Rutledge cherry).
Well, I only tried twice ~2005 then gave up visiting woot because I never felt the urge to buy anything. It seems the VMP and meh button experiments really worked on keeping me here: I found out about meh from a slickdeals post on the Kindle Fire 2-for-Tuesday. Because of VMP, I bought 4 more things that month. I accidentally let VMP renew because the renewal came one day earlier than expected, so I bought 4 more things the next month. I have not used half of those impulse orders. In case any meh staff are confused, those were under my "no meh" account @Odilatinam, since I was trying to keep this one with "perfect meh". I have since mothballed that other account when I found out I can meh and purchase.

Anyone have a review of the Gigs headphones? I'm pretty curious in case they pop up as a regular Meh at some point down the line.
@bradandcoffee They feel better built than the Toccs bluetooth headphones. They sound better (to me - though I have some hearing loss) than the Razer headphones. They are fairly comfortable, though they might get hot on a warm day. The noise cancellation seems to work well. I'm in a room with a refrigerator and a couple other fans - it essentially makes the refrigerator sound disappear, though the other fan can still be heard. They've got a mute button (mis labeled as a "Nute" button on the box that momentarily mutes the sound as long as you press it down. Overall, not too bad.

So there it is. No cool note with a cool challenge or anything. The headphones did have a singular virtue in that they feature a removable cable with 1/8" jacks on either end which is just generally useful. The playing cards are pretty sweet also.

Unboxing, first glance:

Ok, so it powers on after some charging, that's a start.
Alright, there's some menu here with a "getting started" wizard. Let's click next.

Huh? Damn, the accessibility settings must have it reading back everything.
Fast forward through 20 minutes of a lot of swearing back at the device as it read the buttons I tried to press instead of clicking them. Until I am able to disable the accessibility "features".
Finally, a working device with some girl's emails on there from 2013.
I did also forget to mention I also received the amazing awkward family photos book.
Thank you Meh! I can now justify why I buy random things like Fuku whenever possible.
Perhaps I will use this device as a development platform for some unofficial and useless Meh android app. Or you know...not.

Thank you @snapster for including some nice things in these fuku's. One particular item that was in mine has been a lifesaver with respect to a troubled kid in the household whose basement I am currently living in. He wanted it from the second I opened the fuku and amazingly has been willing to work for it. He got out of residential treatment right before christmas (he was adopted by this family 6 years ago and has a lot of issues due to living through a boat load of abuse - as did his 3 sibs but he seems to have the most issues right now) and recently has been on a behavior backslide.
Anyway the quad helicopter I got in my fuku (which I had originally planned to give to my nephew for his 21st birthday as he loves those things), actually served as a really, really effective reward for this kid. He has not been suspended once since the fuku came which is a major accomplishment for him - he is in alternative school and gets sent home at least once a week for behavior. Both the school and the family are amazed that this has worked so well. He will get it on Wed if he can hold it together through then (which seems likely as he is about counting the seconds, if not it will take him a bit longer to earn it).
I had been planning to sell it since I need the cash for health insurance but this is a much better use for it all things considered. Thanks again for included some nice stuff in fukus.
Yeah, I know - TL;DR
So, I'm sitting here realizing I forgot to post about my Fuku - as some of you might remember, my wife gave me shit-tons of grief for buying online all the time again when I returned from overseas where I was stuck working on an extended project in central Europe (it is back to the point where when she opens the door in the morning it looks like Christmas everyday with all the packages - so I started having most of my stuff shipped to my office that is in a converted duplex across town that has proper zoning as it abuts a business park) but mostly she's just pissed about the fact it appears I buy things that we have no use for (although damn if I don't always think we really, really need it - whatever it is - when I press the BUY button). And, I generally always find a use for what I buy . . . . But, she gave me grief in front of my ten year old son (who suffers from Tourette's and I have spoke about this on this forum before) and in that conversation she told me that if I couldn't go a week without buying online I'd have to open what I bought dressed in drag, on camera, with my son watching. We do little things like this a lot to keep my son engaged and having fun and we use it to teach him lessons about embarrassment and socialization (and being okay with things and going along with a joke) as he has difficulty socializing.
So the Fuku pops up for sale in that week, and BAM, I got one, - so I'm screwed. I'm gonna have to go through with it.
So, the Fuku arrives and she dolls me up in a granny costume (complete with make-up, Avon perfume and a walker) - and we wait for my son to arrive home from school. He hits the front door and she starts taping, and it is a disaster. My son had a very bad day and he's ticking and having verbal outbursts, and at times he is so anxious on the video he acts as though he doesn't recognize me.
So, much as I tried, I can't really "save" the footage to the point where watching it would be much fun. In fact, it got to the point several times where my mascara was running. But, that's just par for the course sometimes dealing with a great young man with a difficulty. Some days are good, some are bad. She recorded in 4K so I'll pull a still off of it sometime in the future and prove that I really did dress up . . .
Anyway - here's what I got - no need for pics, as they would just be redundant to those already posted in the thread:

I'm still trying to figure out something awesome to make, but frankly, it's tough to do with only a few pieces available. (Well, that and I just started a new job, so I haven't had a lot of free time to begin with.)
I did learn my lesson: Don't assume the advertised contents of the box are actually included inside.
Side note: I'm not entirely sure why the embedded images are upside down... If you open the images separately they're not upside down...

If you wanted prompt service, you should have specified it in the original challenge description. :) (Come to think of it, you didn't even specify that I had to use the k'nex pieces - exclusively or otherwise. My box was actually pretty ordinary. 5 sleeves, a broken headlamp, an entire flea market's worth of glittery tattoos, etc ...
However, one important question remained unanswered because life got in the way.
@hollboll - Butterflies talk about Meh, of course. Mostly, they're disappointed because not one single butterfly has yet to get a fukubukuro. They're fairly sure it's a conspiracy. They also complain that they have no pockets.
