For anyone that’s interested in nail art, Bundle Monster is selling a Halloween stamping kit for $4.95 shipping only. It gives you a random Halloween colored stamping polish, a random Halloween plate, and a scraper/stamper.
I’ve purchased Bundle Monster plates before. I’ve been pretty pleased with them. The polishes are usually around $20-25 for a set of 6… So this deal is pretty decent.
@walarney oh poop. When I looked at the post on Facebook there was comments on there from last weekend where people had already received their kits. I figured the “only 197 available” was bs since it must of been over a week already since they had posted.
@CaptAmehrican thanks! It let me buy another one. Hopefully I get a different plate. I got two sets for me and another person last time and they were both the same exact set. If I get another duplicate, at least it’ll be a nice little add on gift for someone.
@speediedelivery what style plate did you get? My first one was Egyptian and this one was wolves.
I tried the one scraper… It’s not my favorite. One side didn’t work at all, the other side was ok. I think a credit card works better. The stamper I got in the first kit was the marshmallow feeling one. That one works pretty good. The second kit I got is more firm. Haven’t tested that yet.
Edit:
Can’t remember who had the best tutorial. I’ll try to figure that out and come back later.
@RiotDemon@sammydog01 I got Edgar Allan Poe. I was thinking about as a gift when I ordered it but I am wavering now. Seems like I know who to blame for showing me this.
@walarney I want poe!!! I got two one a zombie plate one a fantasy evil castle theme. But I got dark green and light blue polishes same stamper in each set. I had not tried bmc stamping polish prior. Just did my nails gold base dark green bmc stamped fall leaf pattern. I am converted much easier then other polishes.
@ruouttaurmind
You have to be wary as there is always a guy who thinks that "luminium’ is super tough when in thin sheets and pisses and moans about it breaking when he threw a stick of tnt in it.
@imzwho Agreed. Considering the price point, I still feel like it’s a reasonable value, but obviously not suitable for storing high value items. Shovel, axe, some rope, maybe a cheap tool kit…
For comparison, a similar box at Home Depot is twice the price.
@ConAndLibrarian don’t you have to pay more for the subscription that gets you the Google home? I see a 9.99 option and then 16.99 option that mentions Google.
Edit: Upon reading the T&Cs, this seems to be an instant win game. With the exception of NY, each location will have 250/day, while NY has 2,000 available in total (if I read this right).
There are lower levels of bundles if you want fewer books. Books are available in various formats for most ereaders or tablets. You can designate part of your purchase to go to a charity. There is an option for an email newsletter. Please be sure to read the details, or you know who to blame this month.
The Kingfountain Series by Jeff Wheeler. 5 books, and the 6th is due next month.
If someone wants to try them, the first 5 are included in Amazon Unlimited, and are also whispersync-for-voice enabled, so if someone has the kindle unlimited service, the audiophile are also no additional charge.
The sixth book will prob also be kindle unlimited and whispersync-for-voice, but too soon to be sure.

@CaptAmehrican thanks! It let me buy another one. Hopefully I get a different plate. I got two sets for me and another person last time and they were both the same exact set. If I get another duplicate, at least it’ll be a nice little add on gift for someone.
@RiotDemon I got mine today. A nice purple! I have never used plates so I am going to have a friend help me.

@RiotDemon I got orange and zombies!
@sammydog01 ooh, jelly!
I just ordered another one… I must stop, otherwise I should of just ordered the full kit, lol.
@RiotDemon @sammydog01 I got Edgar Allan Poe. I was thinking about as a gift when I ordered it but I am wavering now. Seems like I know who to blame for showing me this.
@speediedelivery waaaaaaaat, no way!
@speediedelivery @RiotDemon i got this one, too.
@walarney pretty cool!

@CaptAmehrican evil castle?? Sounds cool!
Glad you’re happy!
Sears (yes, they’re still in business… for now) is offering a Craftsman full-size diamond plate aluminum truck box for $90 with free in-store pick up.
@ruouttaurmind You can deliver the truck I now need to Maryland. Thanks.
@mfladd You had your chance at a truck (and a bonus sports car) in the 2-for-Tuesday deal!
@mfladd
@ruouttaurmind
Naw. It’s a truck. Send it here where it belongs.
@ruouttaurmind
Craftsman tools are not what they were, right?
What about this item?
@f00l Just an aluminum tool box really. They’re all about the same until you get to the KNAAK steel boxes for many times this cost.
@ruouttaurmind

@mfladd Don’t forget the duct tape.
Free Google Home with subscription to The New York Times.
I enjoy The New York Times and I have wanted a Google Home so I jumped on this. I got my redemption code for the Google Home within 30 minutes.
@ConAndLibrarian don’t you have to pay more for the subscription that gets you the Google home? I see a 9.99 option and then 16.99 option that mentions Google.
@RiotDemon The 9.99 one offers the Google Home as well.
Today, Google announced the Google Home Mini ($49). One of the things which they touted was that the Google Home Mini is the size of a doughnut.
To promote this, in select locations, there will be some popup shops offering a choice of 2 donuts or a Home Mini
The shops are located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Toronto.

Edit: Upon reading the T&Cs, this seems to be an instant win game. With the exception of NY, each location will have 250/day, while NY has 2,000 available in total (if I read this right).
If it wasn’t for the fact that I won’t be around when the popup shop is in LA, I probably would have jumped on this offer.
Oh well.
Locations also include Chicago, IL and Madison, WI.
