@OldCatLady
I have nothing against today’s big pop music acts, tho I don’t listen to their music, unless accidentally.
So many of them seem that they could be so easily replaced with whatever is young and cute and “edgy” in 5 years.
Not referring to the hard-edged or more traditional genres - jazz, rap, rock all have creative quality.
More the trad “American Idol” and stadium pop sounds.
The ones i hear whose music might stick over time would seem to be perhaps Rihanna and Beyoncé. Are there others who anyone will care about 25 years from now?
Which version of Annie?
Then again, “Tomorrow” was kept the same throughout all the iterations from what I understand, so I suppose it doesn’t necessarily matter.
Meanwhile, I’m thinking up a headline for you.
The best I can come up with is:
"Goatified: The Horror Continues; Day X of extra Goatdom"
It’s a work in progress, and my people are unavailable at the moment, so I can’t consult with them.
/youtube weird al trapped in the drive-thru
@narfcake
He really sings that.
Weird Al was only 10 minutes. Here’s something longer …

I put this one into the Sept blame thread, and then thought of here.
Something in a slightly different mood.

Goats Go To Hell
Appropriately from “Prolonging the Magic” Album.
@KDemo This.
@KDemo I just bought a bunch of Cake. That was a fun listening trip! I forgot how much I like those guys!
@KDemo Cake!
@CaptAmehrican Livin’ on a prayer was the best one.
@ELUNO
Many of those songs seem to need the goat’s help.
@CaptAmehrican That goat is actually a sheep. It still doubles me over in laughter every time I play it.

Ooh, I forgot ‘September Song’, as sung by the Chairman of the Board. Nice and gloomy. Am I still lugging that badge around this morning? Aaagghhhh…
