I see the poll is heavy on the “bit low”. In one of the other threads when they sold these (or similar) in the past we had a discussion about how the normal temperature is actually lower than 37 degrees C (eg 98.6 F), that that norming to 37C was with 3 foot thermometers and that they rounded up to a nice even 37 degrees. Also mentioned in that article was what was normal for folks varied but often the doctor’s office ignored that; many people have a normal temp in the 97 degree range (not to mention it changes over time during the day) and that for some a temp of 99 means they are sick instead of the usual 101.4 that is accepted as the lowest temp to be sick.
@Kidsandliz@yakkoTDI I’m too lazy to look it up, but I think I recall reading once that when the “normal” body temperature was established they did it by having doctors record healthy patients’ temperatures over a period of time and average all of them. This was maybe in the mid 1800s? Some things (I remember gum disease being named, there were others) were much more common at that time than now, and so a lot of people with low grade fever were included in the averages, which caused the temp that was determined to be normal to be a little higher than it should have been.
Since inflatables tend to be the same temperature as their immediate surroundings, I guess that would make me ectothermic (cold-blooded), heh. We sure do like the warmth of the sun, though!

99 is a fever for me, I never get a fever and if I do I’m super, super sick.
