Actually, I think I got it on Meh, but maybe not. It looks like the one for sale today. In any case, I rarely use it as I am not interested in my step count and I can take my pulse when needed. On my bike I do use a chest strap heart monitor.
@alose I almost bought one of those. I’m rocking a FossilQ Hybrid for the last 3 years+. It’s got all the features I want in a smartwatch, but doesn’t look like a smartwatch. The battery lasts about 14 months.
I have a Fitbit Inspire 2, possibly the least featureful allegedly-smart watch around. The display is unreadable in bright sunlight, the amount of data accessible via the watch has decreased with firmware updates, and the OEM band was a manacle - but the metal mesh magnetic-clasp replacement I found is even more annoying.
@werehatrack My similarly basic model, the Charge 3, was $75 on clearance, which is still overpriced, but almost worth it just for the little tab on the silicone strap’s keeper that fits in an open strap hole to keep it from sliding constantly. I’ve always worn watches & that always drove me insane! I was happy to discover that the cheap, generic replacements on Amazon have the same feature. Bonus!
Love my Fitbit Versa 2. Would be happy to upgrade for the Versa 3, but mine still works well, so I can’t convince myself to spend extra yet. Just the right amount of health tracking, and just the right amount of smarts to be very usable, simple, and not half so pricy as the premium Apple/Samsung offerings, but with great support and app integration for key usage features. It’s not perfect, but for the price, it’s a great device.
Moto 360: 1st Gen Motorola smart watch, I think. $2 from a thrift store. Can’t fully use pulse /fitness options under current Android version, but worth the price I paid. Also got some Fitbits (Versa 3, maybe?) for the same price; my brother claimed one of them, and it works well.
I’m so used to going months without ever removing my watch that I don’t think I’d ever be able to get used to one I have to take off and charge on a regular basis.
They all need new batteries but I don’t feel like going to the Fossil store. They do an excellent job of telling the time and date when the batteries are good though. So smart.
But the company that made these went out of business not too long after this deal, the app that powered the watch slowly started breaking and eventually went unsupported in new versions of iOS, and I got an Apple Watch.
Used to sport a Fitbit Versa, but it never stayed connected to my phone (I mostly use a smartwatch for notifications and as, well, a watch). I now have an Amazfit Bip S, no complaints.
Smartest watch I own is probably any one of my Vostok Amphibias. Smart design, smart movement, etc. But most days I wear a manually-wound Komandirskie.
I’m with @brennyn: I wear my watches 24/7, only taking them off to adjust the time or wind or switch to another one. I love knowing what time it is when I’m in the shower .
@gnafuthemeh +1 for the Vostok love. I’m wearing my custom Amphibia right now. I like my Komandirskie, too, but the chrome finish is a bit shiny for my taste.
Fossil Gen 6.
I came from a Versa 1 so it’s a big improvement! Runs quick and connects perfectly with my phone (Samsung S10) and looks really nice too! I highly recommend it!
on my 4th, no 5th

Fitbit Versa 3, thanks to Kohl’s cash.

I had a Fitbit until they were absorbed by Alphabet/Google. This is my daily driver. Stainless with gold accents though. Great watch.

We needed that clarification?
@ybmuG i don’t know about you, but yeah we’re shopping at Meh.
Samsung gear s3 frontier
Fitbit Charge 3, very basic, mainly used for sleep tracking (to confirm to me how terrible I am at it) & heart rate
My phone, Tablet, or Alexa. It depends where I’m at.

Wyze. Tracks my steps, takes my pulse and I can turn my lights on with it. Oh, and it tells time.
@st_ellis I love Wyze! My house is full of Wyze devices!

@yakkoTDI
I keep one nice mechanical self winding watch around, and wear it occasionally just because it has no battery to charge or change.
My smart watch would let me video chat with Dick Tracy.
It used to be a cheap one I got on Meh:

I do like my Apple Watch. It just works well and is easy to use.
I got a cheap one on Meh ages ago and it did nothing for me. I haven’t had a smart watch since. Mostly don’t see the point.

Meh never sent one so I don’t have one
Fitbit Alta - not that smart, but good enough for my purposes.
@er1c Hey - I think you stole that from my granny, Verta Smith!
