My new favorite Bluetooth device
9Don’t laugh, but I love my new Bluetooth Speaker Fidget Spinner. Yes, such a thing exists and it was only $3. While I hate dealing with GearBest, this thing is so much fun. It paired instantly with my phone. The sound is better than expected – maybe even better than the Audio Technica earbuds I got from Meh the other day. I listened to music and a radio station with no problems. The flashing LEDs are nice, but I would like the option of turning them off so I don’t end up with a headache, or seizure. I like that the battery is rechargeable too. Meh should to sell these

I’m laughing. (No purple?)
@Barney That’s the only downside
@Barney This one comes in purple. I bought it too.

@sammydog01 Ugh. You had to point that out. Now I have to place another order.
@heartny Now we’re even.

@heartny You better hurry, the sale ends in 363 days.
Hey, heads up…

@thismyusername Bummer. I’ll have to remember to charge this thing cautiously and while it’s within my view. It survived the first charge.
I kind of imagined that playing music through this while spinning would sound like talking into a spinning fan.
@djslack One would think that, but the spinning doesn’t seem to affect the sound.
@djslack I have two of these, and can confirm it does indeed have that spinning fan effect. It’s amusing
Thanks a bunch. I have a green one coming my way. Don’t you know I have no impulse control?
They have a programmable LED POV spinner on their site as well.
@djslack Damnit. That’s tempting. I love led things that you can program. I’ve been wanting that led fan, the led rims, and led things to attach to your bike wheels… This is actually affordable.

@RiotDemon Now I want a bike so I can get this.
@heartny only $995 for one wheel for the pro version that is shown in that video. ~$40 for ones that come pre programmed that light up about 3/4 of the wheel.
Here’s some knockoffs that will light up the outside edge at least.

@heartny Nope too confusing.

I like the LED spinners but not seeing the point of a speaker?? I would just play the smooth hum of other, more expensive spinners through mine.
@awk If you like LED spinners, I highly recommend this one. It’s like watching an electronic kaleidoscope. And it’s cheap:

@heartny No, you will not make me buy another one.
/giphy nope
@heartny Is that the one that switches through 3 patterns with each squeeze? I have that one!
@awk Yep, that’s the one. It’s awesome. Don’t you think @sammydog01 needs one?
@heartny Yes, @sammydog01 needs one for each appendage.
@heartny I attempted to make a mesmerizing GIF
@awk Nice job!
@heartny @awk Damn it, I need one of those too. My credit card company blocked my last order because I was on a spending spree at some overseas store. Now they say it’s OK. Another three bucks.
I have two of these, one blue and one white. They both externally look the same, but the white one is better in every way except one. The white one sounds better, has a better bearing in it, and it has voice prompts, but the LEDs all flash at once, which is slightly headache-inducing. I do have to ask though, what issues have you had with GearBest? I’ve ordered several times and never had issues.
@PooltoyWolf In order to get a message to someone, you need to tag them. That will send an email to them, if they are no longer following the thread conversations. I assume you are asking heartny this question, so tag her, @heartny. (Most tags are at the beginning of a conversation, but can be placed anywhere.)
She has now been tagged and should answer you.
@Barney I simply posted this as a reply to the original topic, not as a reply to any person in particular. Since the question related to content in the OP, I assumed the OP would be notified automatically.
@PooltoyWolf Nope, doesn’t work that way.
@PooltoyWolf I ordered a few spinners and received shipment information it was coming from Belize, of all places. Over a week later I got a message from customer service that they had to reship my order because they were having problems with the shipper. A short time later I got an email that one of the items I ordered was not available and I had a choice of substituting another item, getting a refund to my GB Wallet or a refund to my original method of payment. I chose the first option. Then they wrote back and said I couldn’t do that because the order was already processed. WTF? So I asked for a refund to my original payment method, which they gave me. I just got my order this weekend, over a month after I placed it. It was shipped from Azerbaijan, of all places. And that, in a nutshell, is why I have issues with GearBest.
@heartny Thanks much for the detailed explanation! That was quite the runaround. I’ve personally never had problems and I’ve ordered many times. Hopefully it stays that way!
I’ve been curious about the bluetooth spinners- this is the first time I’ve seen anyone who owns one talk about how they are. I don’t think I would have much use for one, but now my curiosity has been satisfied at least. (I do have a bunch of LED spinners and a really nice regular metal Captain America one that I love.)
