About ten years ago I moved to Hawaii, and it lasted all of two months. I went not having any sort of plan, just thought I’d drink all day and nap on the beach. It was fun for a bit!
Enjoy your time and if you do not have a job, find one! I think this was my biggest mistake.
@ConAndLibrarian Haha no plans are sometimes the best type of plans, anything is possible if you leave your options open! Luckily I found a job and a house, came here with no plans either, but made some good friends who wanted the same things I did, very fortunate at a very young age to have a house on an island that I love
so… are you on Hawaii the island or Hawaii the state (but some other island…)I have made it to Kauai and Oahu but never the big island (nor some of the other smaller ones)
Friggin’ ocean.
Do the beaches make up for it at least partly?
@sammydog01 haha most definitely! Only problem is pretty damn expensive prices, and I come from California… I thought I knew what expensive was
@PlacidPenguin you are welcome to bury MS and parts of AL and LA with it.
@Kidsandliz
I was thinking of Nebraska or Oregon.
@Kidsandliz works for me… if you place it right my house could become beachfront property…
Having been to Hawaii for my honeymoon 20 years ago, I have to say that the aloha is probably a winning trade for the Meh… (No offense Meh.)
@shahnm agreed 100%

Considering the wind chill was -20 this morning, yeah, I’m jealous!
