My husband taught my kids "If mama ain't happy, no one is.."
My day is still a mystery to me..
A failed chocolate cake mess awaits me in the kitchen..
My children tell me to "go to my room" when I have a migraine and I am being a miserable pperson. It is their way of recognizing I am doing my best, but that sometimes it is beyond my control..
I'm at my Mom’s house right now!
@SSteve Hmm. Is @Teripie your mom?
@rockblossom No, I have a great wife. But my mom swears like @Teripie.
Hell of a Mother's Day here. 44 year old son moved back in a couple months ago after being royally screwed by his bitch wife. He's living here until the divorce is final and he can buy a damn house.
Last week the 40 year old son moved back in after being tossed out by his bitch girlfriend. He'll probably stay here until brother buys a house.
This little 2 bedroom home is getting very crowded! Pity that rent is so fucking expensive around here!
It's a Hallmark Holiday.
The fact that we love each other is year round. We do not need a greeting card company to help us tell it.
She did not get me anything, and that is fine. She has tons of student loans and better things to do with her money.
She did text me that she loved me and that's all right by me.
@Cerridwyn. On May 9, 1914, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the second Sunday in May as Mother's Day "as a public expression of love and reverence for the mothers of our country." He was a self-proclaimed "mama's boy" :) I remember those days when I was in college and the best I could do was a call home... And some of my favorite gifts from my children are homemade... A poem with smudgy hand prints, a flower pot (recycled yogurt cup) with a magnolia..sigh ...the same kid is making me pull my hair out today!
