Morningsave and Sidedeal, you're killing me here!
2In the last few days I have had FOUR different orders cancelled due to “inventory issues”, all were Christmas gifts. 2 of the items are still for sale on the websites(s) !
Anyone else having issues or is it just my luck?

I had an order of the four pack of card games cancelled. One or two of the games were going to go into shoebox gifts that I packed for the local crisis pregnancy center (many of their clients have older kids and they’re big on helping support those kids as well as the pregnant women and their babies). I ended up buying similar games at the local big box store, but I had to spend more. Not a huge deal, but it was a disappointment.
@gt0163c I’m sorry we had to cancel that. I hope the $5 coupon covers the extra you had to shell out. If not, whisper me the cost and we’ll work something out.
@gt0163c We all hated having to cancel the game orders. It felt like ruining Christmas. Trust us when we say that we feel each cancelation and they all bother us the same. It really sucks in December.
@Thumperchick Thanks for the offer. I don’t remember how much extra I spent but it wasn’t a lot. I get that you guys don’t want to have to cancel order, probably especially the ones that are more likely to be gifts. Plus it’s a lousy business model. But I appreciate you personally apologizing and providing the coupon. Good customer service for the win!
Yep. Just got done bugging them about a shipment that’s a month overdue.

@sammydog01 The Hakol Jungle Friends Talking Plushie Set, 2 Cheer Collection 8 Piece Marshmallow Roasting Stick Sets, (ordered one from M-save and one from Side deal both got cancelled) and Cheer Collection 7-Piece Airtight Food Storage Containers. Luckily I found them all at Amazon!! Thankful that they were cancelled in time to reorder.

I’m done with Side Deal. It’s ridiculous. I’m still waiting for 2 orders to ship, one from 11/21 & one from 11/29. When I tried over a week ago to cancel the first one I was told it’s too late & all I can do is refuse delivery when it arrives (as if I’m interacting with any person unless absolutely required right now). The second order was for some masks because a family member who can’t work from home had a covid scare & I wanted them to have better masks. It’s been almost 2 weeks & they still haven’t shipped (not to mention the 2 weeks of ship time once they do). Feel free to take your time shipping masks during a pandemic.
@LadyLeela Hoodies had estimated delivery of 12/16. Yours shows it shipped on the 3rd. That’s what our rep showed. I’ll refund it, though it will likely show up.
Mask order is a weird one. I’ll look for your CS case.
@ChadP Thank you for the update. It still shows as processing for me on the website & I didn’t get an email notifying me it shipped. I didn’t see any estimated date for delivery when ordering and I see now that information is included in the order confirmation emails. I will be mindful if ordering from Side Deal again that orders take a while to be fulfilled. No need to issue a refund, it’s my fault I didn’t read the order confirmation email fully.
@LadyLeela Estimated Delivery Dates are also on every sale page before you purchase (on SideDeal, MorningSave, Meh, too I think). We always provide an idea of the when they’re coming.
My SideDeal order from 12/1 is still “Processing”. Not sure how long it takes to process an order for a single item but apparently since it’s what Steve does as a side gig, it’s probably quite awhile.
@tightwad This order shipped on 12/5 so seems like a deeper shipping issue. Feel free to write in the sidedeal cs.
My MorningSave experience was fine, but I think my Side deal order is a goner, thanks Fed Ex. I will just stick with Meh only I think. I would say my good luck charm, but considering my fuku/fuko/irk track record, that might be going too far LOL.
My boyfriend and I both ordered ornaments from morningsave and BOTH of our orders had incorrect items in them. CS was really prompt in fixing the issue, in one case sending out the correct item right away, and in the other case just issuing a refund. We ended up with a bunch of free ornaments but the original orders were meant to be gifts so it messed us up a little…although with some shifting of the gift giving plan, we got it all worked out.
@endi1276 Yikes. Sorry about that for sure. There has been a lot of little weirdness that has happened this year. Sorry it bit both of you.
So just wondering how long should I wait to complain about not receiving an item? What’s the longest it should be at a Pitney Bowes warehouse before it’s not coming back out ever? I’m at day 11 in Maryland but it probably still has a chance, right?

@Cerridwyn @sammydog01 Meanwhile my October SD IRK is still MIA with PB and USPS pointing fingers at each other. To SD support’s credit they refunded a few weeks ago on my initial inquiry, but it was still an unsurprisingly unsatisfactory result.

Its a crap shoot mostly depending how they ship it and where you live. Had one items they had to ship three times-got the last 2-the first one-who knows where that is.
Sidedeal sucks-last two items I ordered never arrived. They had to cancel-got the same canned letter about both items. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM SIDEDEAL.
