@katylava Sometime in the next few months.. I'll try and remember to let you know when the kickstarter has been complete (they received decent samples with just one flaw that will need fixed). I wouldn't think it would be more than 6 months from now.
I prefer Monopoly... when not playing against my siblings.
Oh, you were asking about a corporate conglomerate? Meh, I buy my supplies and tech from Amazon and certain deals sites, so it doesn't really affect me much.
@mfladd The Great New Game of Yacht? yacht yät - noun noun: yacht; plural noun: yachts 1. a medium-sized sailboat equipped for cruising or racing. a powered boat or small ship equipped for cruising, typically for private or official use. "a steam yacht"
verb verb: yacht; 3rd person present: yachts; past tense: yachted; past participle: yachted; gerund or present participle: yachting 1. race or cruise in a yacht.
@DrunkCat I'm assuming you mean the real Monopoly rules where if someone doesn't or can't buy a property it gets opened up for auction to all of the other players?
It makes the game better but it's still an Ameritrash game to the board game snob I've become.
@JonT So much yes. And the free parking bullshit too that only serves to prolong the game. Everyone always complains about how "tedious" and "long" the game is but they never realize that their 'house rules' is the cause of it. A real game of monopoly shouldn't last longer than two hours at most; if it does you're playing it wrong.
And as much of a hobbyist I've become with boardgames I still think Monopoly is ok. To me "ameritrash" would be more like Sorry or Cards Against Humanity.
@DrunkCat But as a kid, it was way more fun to extend it w/ house rules and have massive on going neighborhood monopoly games that would last all summer. Or at least a couple days.
I prefer Yahtzee.
That's what this is about, right?
@katylava I'm looking forward to Yahtzee once my new dice come in!
@kadagan O M G... when will this be retail??
I NEED

@katylava It's retail now!
@kadagan bought. wish amazon gave out funny order numbers.
“We expect to recognize at least $1 billion of synergies as we aggressively reduce global expenses.”
Its the new Marketspeak Paradigm game. A Division of MonopolyCorp.
@duodec so much synergy, they're going to disrupt the hell out of some untapped demos.
@duodec
Translation:yahtzopoly!
@carl669 monopahtzee?
@luvche21 that doesn't really roll off the tongue.
@carl669 Unless you put the accent on the AH, monopAHtzee. I'm not saying it was a good idea anyway ;)
@carl669 chipotle!
@katylava matzopoly! (which makes me think of matzo ball soup)
I prefer Monopoly... when not playing against my siblings.

@dis_member The conglomerate.
Yahtzee! But as a kid we had Kismet which is practically the same thing.

@Pamtha I noticed that too when I pulled up the pic. But I did find it listed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yacht_(dice_game)
You can also find it under dice game sites.
@mfladd I liked Kismet because it had colors.
@SSteve I never even knew Yahtzee existed for years. And you right about the colors.
I like both but I think I prefer Monopoly by a slight margin. However Yahtzee is way less likely to be played wrong.
